You cannot survive legally in the UK if you have employment restrictions as a condition of your visa. Otherwise if can legally work then get into business or ask somebody (African expat who has successfully found jobs) to assist you with job application process.

But OP, UK does not charge school fees unless you talking about your own school fees for higher education.

Otherwise if it is new law that expats pay for children's school fees then I recommend homeschooling which is better anyway imo.

Forget searching for jobs and hustle. Easy reasonably lucrative business to start is recycling. People throw out a lot of stuff you can collect clean up and resell online or in car boot sale or weekend markets.

You can sell the scrap metal to scrap metal dealers. If you have employment restrictions do not make the business official or put it in your name otherwise the authority may deem you to be working and possibly contravening your visa employment restrictions.
