Politics › Re: Pictures From Ongoing NLC Protest In Ikeja Lagos by WorldRichest: 11:20am On Aug 02, 2023 |
Nonny95: The Nigeria Labour Congress has commenced nationwide protests over the removal of petrol subsidy.
The protesters on Wednesday converged on the Ikeja under-bridge in Lagos State.
The NLC had given the government a seven-day ultimatum with threats of a nationwide strike scheduled to commence on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Protest till next year, Tinubu will not cow in. The generational fraudulent fuel subsidy is gone forever. Tinubu's current plan now is how to mitigate against the effect of the new fuel price |

Now the fair value is #700 while the real value is #870 in the open market.
Some people are being taught some political lessons 😁😁😁 We are still teaching you political lessons. We run this game. Tinubu has the best team anyone can think of. You will see many politicians in his team, but these politicians are also professionals. Will a bank MD stop being a professional just because he joined politics? Will a medical doctor stop being a professional just because he joined politics? Tinubu just brought a new horn from KPMG just as he brought many in the past. Just open your eyes and see, Emilokan Asiwaju Jagaban will do is proud. |

Politics › Re: You Don’t Love Coup, But You Love “grab It, Snatch It, And Run With It”. by WorldRichest: 6:33am On Aug 01, 2023 |
Ofunaofu: You don’t love coup, but you love “grab it, snatch it, and run with it”.
You don’t love coup, but you enjoyed watching MC Oluomo threaten a whole tribe in Lagos for your candidate and actually carried out the threats.
You don’t like coup, but you loved thousands of blurred election results from various polling units that were doctored in favor of your candidate almost all over the country.
You don’t like coup, but loved when INEC officials were dumping PVCs in drainage and forests in regions where your candidate is unpopular.
You hate coup, but love voters suppression and intimidation so long as it favors your candidate.
You dislike coup, but was very happy to hear that IREV was switched off during the election so results won’t be transmitted in real time so they can be manipulated for your candidate.
You don’t love coup, but you enjoyed watching Mahmood Yakubu continued to collate fake election results even when asked not to continue in error by well meaning Nigerians.
You hate coup, but had orgasm when Mahmood Yakubu announced your candidate as the election winner at a wee hour of the morning when millions of Nigerians were still asleep, even though your candidate did not meet the election requirements to be declared a winner, like 25% in the FCT.
Now you see, you don’t really hate coup in the real sense of it, you simply hate to see those in uniform carry out one, but love when your candidate is the beneficiary of a coup like the one that was carried out on Feb 25 this year.
Copied. Una go cry for long. 16 years of crying and wailing. 8 years of Emilokan Asiwaju Jagaban rule and 8 years of Kashim Shettima's rule Will you survive it? I doubt it |

Politics › Re: Poor People Of Nigeria ... A Case Of IGR Without Riches by WorldRichest: 6:46am On Jul 31, 2023 |
Validated: From the NBS report on poor people SW recorded 16.3m poor people out of 32.5m population. My question is if Lagos with over 20m is included in SW report, would we be wrong to conclude that the 16m rich are majorly in Lagos. So an unbiased report may likely put the rest of the SW outside of Lagos to about 75% poor.
The other question would be, what is the benefit of the bogus IGR, when people are poor?
No abuse or curse, provide me a superior arguement. Simple! Majority of the poor people in Lagos are those that jumped into Mallam Audu's trailer carrying Cows from Bornu through Igboland to Lagos in order to come and sell Gala and La Casera inside Lagos hold-ups and sleep under Lagos bridges. |
