I really do not know why you all are falling for this guy's bait. No Igbo man will save his moniker as Southern Igbo. Then use same to spill hate-filled thrash about other people. It's a deliberate act by some mischievous folks to heighten the suspicion and mistrust of the Igbos by the other tribes.

The boy caught is stupid! I remember when i use to run my late dad beer palour. On weekends we make the most sales&that is when i apply wisdom.I remeber back then, when you sell three crates of beer, the profit on top of it is enough to buy one crate. So, i buy one crate with the profit and make my personal profit before replacing the crate of beer. So,i'm doing dads biz and also doing my biz and in the end no one is cheated. A mutual association is attained and the record book is balanced.

Still dubious. Those profits you made aren't still yours. The freezer that got the drinks chilled isn't yours. The power, the sound, the environment belongs to your dad. You ripped him off under the guise of being business savvy. You were nothing but a crook. Try this with me, better don't get caught, lest, the aftermath will be too sour to be told

Politics / Re: Buhari Opposed Removal Of Fuel Subsidy In 2011 by wreckormend: 4:11pm On Nov 30, 2021
backbencher:
He did, and because of that, he got into power.

The simple fact is that, whoever proposes the removal of fuel subsidy is going to be opposed by millions if not most Nigerians. That is what happened in 1993, 2006/7 and even in 2012.

Buhari in 2012, had lost elections several times, and was looking for a means to get power in 2015. Opposing subsidy provided the means by which he could get into power. He played cunny man, opposed subsidy along with most Nigerians, and got elected. Now, having seen how subsidies impact the economy, he has woken up. Too bad he could not listen to the wise words of people like NOI or SLS back in 2012.

But he isn't the reason why GEJ was unable to remove subsidy completely. The reason is most Nigerians, including GEJ supporters, who opposed and marched against it. If GEJ had totally removed subsidy in 2012, he would have lost the 2015 election by an even wider margin...plus APC would have brought it back, and reversed the gains being made.

So we kept a bad programme , which enriched a lot of people illicitly and further decimated domestic petrol production, to say nothing of getting us into more debt. Anyway, subsides on kerosene, diesel and gas went...good thing.

It's the same reason why even people like Abacha never contemplated total subsidy removal.

The painful thing is that if we had removed the thing in 2012, by now we would have been enjoying the benefits , and we would have been over the worst. Plus we had higher oil prices in 2012, meaning that there would have been enough cash to pay the poor to help them prosper.

INFACT, the partial removal of subsidy GEJ did was used to pay for things like SURE P and some improvements in public transport (just as the partial removal of subsidy by Abacha paid for the PTF). things THAT could not be sustained when oil prices crashed in 2014.

Anyway, subsidy has to go. The oil income is falling, and it is becoming more difficult to sustain subsidies. Unless we pay taxes at rates of 50% of our income .

Since no one is ready to do it. Let me do it on their behalf. Bros, sense far from you, and if you continue like this, lass lass na the 30k bondage you go rot. Nmeeeh like you

Politics / Re: Update On T-Junction Flyover On Nike Lake Road, Enugu by wreckormend: 5:42am On Jul 14, 2021
The only good thing this government has achieved is to pool quite a number of online half baked PR persons for it's constant whitewashing as a performing governor.
It either one organisation is hyping the governor for being the governor with the least smelling poo or they are taunting us with pictures of project that will not pass a constituency project for a lawmaker elsewhere.

Make all the noise, the governor is still a failure. I crisscrossed the state this last December/January, my on the spot conclusion is that, Enugu (minus it's metropolis) is still the least developed state in Southern Nigeria with the worst network of roads.

Judging by the time I'm commenting on this thread you can tell I'm having sleepless nights with the thoughts of improving my financial wellbeing. Let's leave English. Guys Mouth dry no be small. So a friend has been posting charts of his trade on his whatsapp status that caught my attention. I asked him to teach me how to trade, he asked me to go get 50k (as per friend) as he used almost 100k to learn.
Now some newbie questions:
Why is the training so costly?
How much did it cost you to learn
If I learn it and I start trading with 100k for instance, what's the highest I can turn it to.
Can I lose it all?
What other advise will you give

Sorry if I sort of derail the thread. Just desperate.

I urgently need to travel from Lagos to Awka but I dont know the situation of the road presently. I've heard tales of terrible experiences of those that embarked on such long distance interstate trip. Now I'm wondering if the journey is possible at all irrespective of the difficulties.

Please share your experience if you have successfully transited 2, 3 or more states during this lockdown or know of anyone who did.

Funny how people spew poo confidently on what they know nothing about. If I write epistle to her it's nono' your business. Long texts work for us. Simple. If you can't find the humor in my attempt to prank my girlfriend, the most you can do is ignore.

Romance / The April Fool Message I Sent To My Girlfriend. by wreckormend: 7:09am On Apr 01, 2020
Since the Corona break has made us all practically useless. Even movies couldn't help the level of boredom I was feeling.

So I thought I should give my girlfriend a little bit high BP. I sent her this prank message. Had to tone it down a little so she doesn't go crazy before the end.

She hasn't read it though, but I can only imagine what her reaction will be when she wakes to this. Happy new month guys.

Foreign Affairs / Qasem Soleimani: Which Of The Divides Are You by wreckormend: 9:35pm On Jan 06, 2020
I have heard and read plethora of opinions on the recent saga of the assassination of Iran's General, Qasem Soleimani, some informed and the others stemming from minds with hollow depth. One thing that has become glaring is the polarity of the arguments and I'm here wondering, how much of this divides can there be.

West Vs East
Christian Vs Muslim
Sunni Vs Shiite

Now ask yourself, would your argument still be same if you had found yourself on the other side of the divides. HYPOCRITES!!!

I think 1 of the criteria they used in selecting the ministers is whether they finished from Ahmadu Bello University or not. So so ABU graduates...
