As regards my comment, liberal Igbo men know that IPOB youths under the leadership that terrorist is misguiding and leading them to anarchy. How can someone call Jesus a Gay and say judaism is the true religion his followers should embrace when they are Christian. I just hope he is not an anti christ in making

igbos are very intelligent idiots. this biafran thing has removed all doubts I have ever had about my people. they can believe anything. all of a sudden we aren't Christians again but jews. no identity as igbos rather we better substitute that for the people who killed Christ and are sitting on a time bomb of elimination by the Muslim world. I can prove with videos on YouTube why humans are from Mars, twist their names and history and show how abia is same as Abel. Tufiakwa Ndi iberibe. I am tired. yes as usual they will call me Fulani or yoruba.
U are reasonable and liberal Igbo man. It's a pity these IPOB miscreants are taming the image of great Igbos globally.

weedtheweeds:
we cannot settle for the filth in Hollywood. There are A-listers out there a person of D'banj's calibre should be hooking up with not a stripper. How about a collabo with Adele? Is time these celebrities are told the truth. Look at Angelique Kidjo from the 90ies still winning Grammy awards while Onyeka Onwenu and Yinka Davies are just lazying around playing local. Majek Fashek just smoke Marijuana and drink ogogoro like fool till he wasted all his talent n teeth. What our celebrities want is for fans and up and coming artists to call them mummy and daddy. The best they know is how to pose for pictures and post them on Nairaland. No real star power. What should we do with this pic? You are a celebrity cos Nigerians support you, in turn, you give back by putting us on the positive brand out there. Go to the studio and work. Not for D'banj alone
Though, much respect to the guy for that "Oliver" track. It was on the top 100 in the US some years back. But, dressing silly and posing around with A-list strippers does not get you to the cool parties.
Do not sit on your laurels, go and show 9ice how to bring home the Grammy.

The way our artists gush over Hollywood celebrities is shameful. See Omotola the other time taking selfies with all the celebrities in the grammy 2 years ago or so and shining her teeth like a child even when these Hollywood stars snubbed her.
like Don Jazzy said, "we are bigger than brand ambassadors". Let us go for the big fish and leave the fingerlings for newbies.

D'banj I believe that you still have one shot to the US top 100. Dig deep within and go for it.

Pls do not quote me, it is called a forum. I spoke my mind. speak yours on your comment section.
Your opinion is legit brother. The problem of Nigerian musicians start from their wack lyrics, poor video and poor marketing music channel in the country.

If by virtue, a song finally hits, they can duel on it for long and see studio as being orthodox to them which I term intellectual laziness.

The hunger of success is so little in our artistes that they fizzle out fast in their music career unlike their counterparts in USA.

If you look the "Empire movie premiere", you will understand how hardworking and career driven the US singers which give a glimpse of what happens in their music industry.

RadicallyBlunt:
As in ehn. women and wahala..its just too much. They're always having problem keeping to what is right before God and man. Sometimes I wonder why God made them that way.

A woman's husband is her Lord according to the bible and Qur'an standard. But familiarity with their husbands makes them lose focus on what God has laid down.

If its not pastor, its children. Its good to honor pastor..God loves it too. But you're not married to your pastor neither can he do more than being a pastor to you except he has another motive.

They're the reason many pastors fall sef. If you check a list of counselees who wants to see the pastor, 70% are women and what they want to see the pastor for is not usually a life-storm situation.

..."Ehn pastor one woman in my neighbourhood that we're not greeting each other is wearing black ring to point finger at me, pls give me anointing oil or anointed handkerchief so that I will sprinkle it on my doormouth so that witch will do herself"... They emergently turn pastors to babalawo.

You're running to pastor for every little fear u have and if the pastor starts feeling affectionate towards you as human made of flesh, its still you that will use your mouth to scatter his career to pieces. Nawa.
grin Hard knock truth
Romance › Re: Ladies, Know The Type Of Work A Guy Does Before Agreeing To Be His Girlfriend by wristbangle:
fastgyal:
I'm writing this from my own personal experience. Dear girls, don't just fall 'head over heels' for a guy without knowing the nature of his job or any of his close relatives.
There's this guy who's been inviting me over for quite sometime, we met at an event and exchanged contacts. I did that because he assisted me with something at that event. He calls me for about an hour or two every night. That was early this year.
When I asked about his nature of job, he said he was a contractor, he couldn't tell me which firm he works with. He stays at home 24/7 from Monday through Friday, weekends inclusive.
I finally agreed to go out with him sometime in February. This guy owns a Bentley and a Range Rover. Each time I try to bring up the issue of his job, he waives it off. The way he spent money on me and my friend that day was lavish and suspicious. I wasn't comfortable at all. He paid for my Uber ride to and fro. Spent about 80K at the exquisite restaurant just for food and drinks. We were three;Him, my friend And I. He uses two iPhones, one infinix hot4 and a smaller phone. I felt so much discomfort with him that day. Thank God my spirit never accepted him. that evening, he had a minor issue with his friend. I was listening to their conversation and I found out my guess was right. I had to cut up all ties with him after that day. abeg I can't be spending money whose source I know nothing about.
The second was a guy I loved, I won't lie. I met him at the mall and there was this kind of attraction. We flowed freely, got talking and all that. I won't say everything I witnessed at his place for personal reasons. I asked what he's been doing since he graduated, he said business. What kind of business? He replied; 'online business'
The day I visited him, his friends came over and for more than one hr, they were glued to their laptops, doing 'heaven knows what' and making calls to dupe victims. I also saw about 7 master keys for cars. I had no access to his FB account then. only whatsapp and IG.
when I checked his pictures on FB, I was trembling with all the things I saw. he's in a gang, probably a cult. Always wearing shirts with that devilish logo of a skull printed in it. Wearing all Black and all that.
And girls, please don't open your legs for any guy you've just met until you're very sure he's clean. I really loved this last one but although its hard to let go, I just have to.
I'm not saying I'm a virgin, but I just don't open my legs for any one because he throws money at my face whatsoever. I'm being very plain here so girls can learn.
Edited*

Good to know we still have reasonable ladies in the society who are quite considerate but then one can point out from your story that something is not right.

With time you will get a guy of your choice which ofcourse you want him to be rich like bill gate and be God fearing like baba Adeboye.

My question go does that why do you fall for the kind of guys you mentioned in your story? I feel you easily get attracted to materialistic guys without having a second thought when you meet them initially.

Not all that glitters is gold mehn!

Focus on getting good grade as most Nigeria employers prefer candidates with 2.1 and above grade.

It has nothing to do with population bro. If not, Africa should be topping the chart after Asia!

It has everything to do with productivity and initiative.

An apt example of this is when I hear people say that Biafra is landlocked and will never succeed. Many countries in Africa have unlimited supply and access of SEA. What did they do with it?

I was surprised Netherlands was not there. This is a very small country but one of the worlds top food and agro exporter... After USA and CHINA.

My point is that its not much about population. You can have the population and still be messed up. e.g Nigeria.
Sir in terms of port sector ,population is one of the key factors which means a huge market for consumption and exportation of raw/finished goods.

Skilled Labour, Economic productivity, Technology advancement and others are also critical factors but Africa lags behind in these factors which is the reason you won't see an African country there.

But seriously what happens to earning legitimately where ever you go? Some people can disgrace this country reputation through their shady deals sha
