Rubbish

What kind of stupìd government and law do we have in this country?

How can one single person own an oil bloc?
Something that is supposed to belong to a community or an entire state?
Yet, all the communities around this oil blocs continue to live in penury.

Woe betide Ibb and Obj
I strongly feel many of Nigeria's so-called richest people are fronts for politicians.

She has released anointing for somebody to probably give somebody oil block, maybe like Abacha gave Danjuma oil block dash.

Why would the Govt mobilise a contractor when he has not settled the communities to start work. This is a one-sided story.
As a young man working with SHELL BP contractors then, SHELL will make sure you've settled every issue that may prevent the work before they mobilise the contractor and the projects go on smoothly.
This blame games should stop, pls.

The reordering dealt a big blow to their plans to manipulate the election.

It's a master stroke from the national assembly.

Everyone must earn his votes.
Yes, it is a good idea. But we must not forget that the members of the NASS are not doing it out of love for NIGERIANS but for THEMSELVES. Anyway, I hope it stands and remains permanent.

Whaoh! So it's true that private universities have age limit for applicants. I hope the Govt knows this so that they will stop frustrating those young ones writing JAMB who are denied admissions due to space.

They know. The master's degree requirement is to reduce the number of applicants.

Pls, VERY FEW - because I don't want to say none- Nigerian universities can compare to MANY universities in South Africa in terms of scholarship and facilities. Kenya has good universities also. Forget zenophobia, it's a by the way issue.

That only happens when your sole purpose was not to school.you read the rule dammit . So why cry ? ?
If you got here cos of work great but school . Go home after school
You know more than 90% of Nigerian applicants go there to school as an opportunity to either get a job there or get something better to do. That is why this thread is being used to CAUTION NIGERIANS to disabuse their minds and stop wasting money to do master's with the hope of getting jobs. Even those done with their master's often must return to their home country before they can apply for PhD.

Uk is a dryland.

They are theifs and rogues who enjoy exploiting other countries like Nigeria, india etc.

Come to Germany(Free education and Numerous student jobs),Canada(Point base PR), Australia(Blood money wealth).

Uk government want your money but they hate you.

herzlich willkommen von deutschland.
These are viable countries to apply to. People just need to be patient to pursue their admissions in these countries.

Op you are wasting your time with this thread. Most Nigerians prefer the UK because getting admission there is so easy unlike the USA where you have to jump through so many hurdles before getting one school. The worse part of it is they won't even go to Oxford or Cambridge, it's funny name universities like coventry and anglia ruskin grin. I can only risk schooling in the UK if it's oxford or Cambridge anything else am out.
Yeah, they seem to have the easiest admission process in place just to milk Africans.
I think places like South Africa and Kenya could be good options for educational development that can open doors for more opportunities.
Travel › Re: Nigerians - Leave The UK (United Kingdom) ALONE!!! by writeprof(m): 9:23am On Feb 22, 2018
Your article is very apt. A friend just had to return this January after his Masters in UK. Things are still tough as par job because his relatives sponsored him there- which I see as an error, especially since UK is not interested in them staying. Imagine spending millions and he is back almost sentenced to look for teaching jobs with a UK master's degree. There are many like him around me, especially those who because of their Christian beliefs refused to do magomago to stay back.
OP, you can build this thread by giving more info about possible countries and the benefits of going there. Thanks.

Lol, enough to make it the biggest reality show in Africa. Enough to allow big brother to pay top artists to come and perform every Sunday and to pay top DJs to play every Saturday for the house party. Enough to get hundreds of millions of people to spend money to vote. U should see how many people went for audition. U don't like it... That ok but there are millions that enjoy it. And there are millions that don't enjoy what u enjoy.
That is the beauty of life... Everybody having freewill to enjoy whatever they like. However, I believe 'enjoyment' should be situated with the Rotary 4-way test in mind.

Thank you OP. This is the first post with BBN l have opened to read because I have been asking myself where BBN falls, is it a reflection of Nigerian arts and culture or an entertainment showing our value system to the world?
I wonder how many adults would want their 18years+ loved ones to watch it or aspire to be there.

It's a sad development because this strike is affecting a lot of things no matter how the academic staff try they are not finding it easy because there is a limit to what they can do.
But more tragic, is the way the government has successfully created an atmosphere not conducive for LEARNING. The animosity between ASUU and NASU members should be a cause of concern to all. After many years in the university, I have never seen it like this.

claremont:
You can get visa on arrival. I just got back from my holiday in Nairobi, you will be charged £30/$50 at the airport for the visa. Go straight to the immigration desk at arrivals for it. There is a notorious tout at the arrivals hall who collects bribes for filling visa forms and charges $20 for it, don't be the gullible traveller that falls for it. Go straight to the immigration desk with the complete visa fee.
Pls, can you give an idea of the airfare and the airline you used. Did you use an agent?

Nice write up OP. I started publishing on amazon KDP platform last year - I have just one ebook to my credit and some royalties that promises an auspicious future for my publishing endeavor on Amazon. I look forward to releasing my second ebook on the platform in Q1 of 2018. I am not jobless though but I took to writing because I am passionate about it; my motivation isn't the royalties but the passion behind my writing and publishing endeavor. So guys try it out, if only you have got it in you.
Pls, what did you write on? Can you give a link to it for someone to buy it?
