A graduate wants a shift job that pays daily or weekly. He is ready to do odd jobs that will pay daily. Kindly PM me if there is any of such jobs.

Apart from using English texts, get good novels to read. Start with that of Nigerian writers preferably the female writers whose themes you would flow better with.

This is a very sad development as it may scuttle the taking off of the University that money has been approved for. Why didn't this land issue come all this while? I just pity both tribes and the South South in general for allowing themselves to be tools for divide and rule tactics.

I hope it works for the good of all Nigerians. Whether we like it or not, Nigeria is divided into NORTH and SOUTH. While the NORTH maximises every advantages for their good, the SOUTH is busy fighting amongst themselves over frivolous differences and issues. It's well with us!

Thank you for posting the vacancies here. However, pls, let the guys there know that some of us applied based on the info received through Nairaland because they almost refused to collect mine saying that I applied for what I wasn't qualified for. When I referred the guy to Nairaland, he said they never advertised it on the net and he brought out a daily for me to confirm. Sadly, the info was different but he eventually accepted my application.

It's probably nothing to you...The staff there are extremely kind and patient. They take their time to open up and go through your documents, let you know if there are certain corrections to be made and help rearrange if the need be.
For instance, I applied for lecturer 2 but going through my documents, the guy made me understand I am more suited for lecturer 1. I had to retype the whole thing. Same with most people there. I mean, a guy came in from kaduna to submit his application...kaduna to warri is far enough and we spent at least 1hr on water. Some people just know what they want. I too once travelled from the south South to A.B.U zaria to submit an application. While it's no job guarantee, I felt at peace knowing where my documents went and enjoyed the experience.

There are things I'd rather not talk about but if you are close enough...go there, pick out your document from the parcel section(yes, it got delivered)and submit it YOURSELF. You'll understand better then.

Again, it's probably nothing.

Overall, I think the recruitment process will be very fair. The community is a beautiful one too.

In short, I agree with you that those guys are really patient and diligent in attending to applicants. I really commend them.
