Thanks for this info. It's goodnews. I hope and pray some of my loved ones there will have the opportunity of being employed. The unemployment thing is not a joke at all!

Does anyone know if they are among those owing their teachers?

Pls, what are the duties of a SUPPORT OFFICER?

I can see some vacancies in Enugu in the Jobs/Vacancies section.

South Africa has once more confirmed her position as THE GIANT OF AFRICA. I hope the Nigerian PDP & APC would learn something from the ANC as well from Zimbabwe, how political parties have asserted their powers to save the party & the country from a downward movement..

They have started praising it oh!
I was reminded on Tuesday that NO EMPLOYER HAS THE INTEREST OF HIS/HER EMPLOYEES IN MIND EXCEPT THAT OF HIS/HER PROFIT.
The British Govt must have taken time to analyse and do their research to know what they will benefit, have we done our own to know what t/c to accept?
It's well with my countri people!

EgunMogaji:
I founded it and is one of my ideas that will be heavily seeded in a few years. It is functioning though but I haven't spent energy on fully developing it yet due to conflicting resources.

That's good. So, does it work like Fiverr, Freelancer etc by enebling Nigerians to utilise it for freelancing jobs. I'll check it out though.

Raiyell:
One year after I started freelance writing, I knew I would never ever in my life work for any organisation in Nigeria as a paid employee.

Even if I were to work, it would be in a skilled capacity and above middle-management.

But this thing is not a get-rich-quick-scheme. It does need high-levels of commitment and attention to details. Anyone who puts their mind to it can learn. In the coming years, I would completely leave the freelance scene once I have my own operations running. However, the knowledge I have now as regards the internet economy is something I would never have been able to acquire working in a 9-5 job.

The world of freelance work is reportedly worth $200 billion according to a report by Hubstaff.com/Accenture. 35% of US work-force are remote workers, 20% and 18% for the UK and India respectively. These figures can only but grow.

We can bring in billions of dollars into our economy if we massively embrace freelancing.

Today, I went food shopping and blew more than my entire two month salary at my previous job on groceries and other needed household needs. Some of the items for me, some for my mom, gifts for my niblings. I didn't even think about the money. In my mind, I was like "thank you Tim Lee Berners, Steve Kassriel, oyibo people, thank" you!" with smiles all over my face. The cashier noticed and asked me, "what is making you look so happy?"

"Freelancing"

I told her.

Get skilled at something today and change your story.

This is a good recommendation, however, I think it would be better if you give some practical directions to interested people. Many write-ups on freelancing sseem to be geared towards drawing traffic to websites and not intended to encourage/motivate people to go into it.

EgunMogaji:
I believe that freelancing is the way.
eLanceNG.Com was founded on that premise.

who founded it? And what is their angle of freelancing?

HigherEd:
Lol as in ehn. Mention Rccg pastor did this bad or evil this and NL mods would forget that today isn't Sunday. The speed at which it would hit FP would be faster than that of light. This is one of the important reasons why the church should takeover the mountain of media - Sons of God strategically placed in key positions in Media advocating for Christ and his Church as opposed to the agents of Darkness amplifying propaganda against the Church.

I understand how this things work, all you need is tell a side of a story for so long people would begin to believe that side of the story as the entire story. Unfortunately most ppl don't know that half truths are dangerous than outright lies.

Maybe it's time Christian ICT gurus create another ...land

NMUniversity:
No

Pls, have names been shortlisted for interviews yet?
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
This is to inform all prospective students that JAMB is required for admission consideration into Nigerian Maritime University (NMU).
NMU has started its admission process for the 2017/2018 academic session and an official advert would be posted here very soon to that effect. While that is coming up, prospective students that have written JAMB earlier and were not offered admission into any University, can indicate interest in NMU using JAMB's MARKETPLACE provided he/she meets the subject combination and NMU's Jamb cut-off that would be made known shortly.
NMU is already in the MARKETPLACE.

Please, do you know if they have shortlisted candidates for lecturing positions?

Ibadan DISCO increased the 23. to 24. since January this year.

Interesting and enlightening just that the title is misleading.

doctokwus:
This story sounds too sensational and more like typical SR of mixing few facts, hearsays and half-truths to form a story, unlike PremiumTimes who are now the no 1 online medium for credible news.
How can a whole DG of NIA give a lady in a car park $50k,when a gun wasn't held to his head.

God bless their union. However, with prosthetics for them it will be a blissful union. Where are the philanthropists in the land?

So many comments here reflect the ignorant state of many so called christians and non christians here. I always say that an unbeliever should not be the one telling me how believers ought to behave or respond to issues.
God uses foolish things-foolish to unbelivers- to confound the wise- foolish unbelievers who think they are wise because they have intellectual & rational knowledge but lack Spiritual knowledge.
Dr.(then) E.A Adeboye tells us how they use to make fun of christian doctrine and belief at the staff club in UNILAG. Today, it's history.
Prof. Y. Osibanjo also tells of how he needed evidence to believe the christian doctrine as a Professor of Law of evidence. The rest is history.

What other solution apart from leaving everything for God?

Prayer changes but I also believe in action

What the OP did not say was that he also told every member to register and get their PVC because it is their weapon to make decision on who to lead them also.

I thank God for keeping Olusegun Obasanjo alive as the ONLY strong and sincere voice from SOUTHERN Nigeria to check people like this.

Christians go and register for voters card this is a wake up call

All these guys were not voted into these positions. It's erroneous to propagate the idea that Christians lose out in Nigeria's politics because 'they do not show interest in politics.

I did not see Fayose name there

I wonder! What about Al Mustapha, James Ibori, Bukola Saraki, Bola Tinubu, Fashola...?

I almost shed tears when I saw the transformational pictures last year. This kind of transformation can be carried out all over the country if those we call leaders have human sympathy like that lady and her husband.

A good business. More strength to her.

It took 9 days for that memo to get to Katsina from Abuja to be RECEIVED/ RECIEVED.

How much to go Dubai oo?

My question is: Should JAMB be a money making venture milking Nigerians- parents and children- to make huge remittances to the Federal Government? JAMB should be an agency providing competent educational services meant to make Nigerians enjoy this season of CHANGE

squarelead:
No, Glass nylon and baking materials also available.

Ok. Thanks. Hope to check them out soon.
