SportsNeymar Grooving To Burna Boy’s "Ye" (Video) by WriterNig(op): 1:25pm On Nov 01, 2019
The Afrobeats wave continues to increase rapidly across the world with PSG star Neymar Jr the latest big name to catch the bug.

The Brazilian superstar was seen jamming to one of the songs on Burna Boy’s record selling album, African Giant. Neymar is currently injured and has not played since he was taken off in Brazil’s international friendly match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria last month.

However, that has not dampened the spirit of the 27-year-old as he was seen listening to “Ye” while lifting weights in the gym.

Neymar listening to Ye is further proof of how far Burna Boy and Afrobeats, in general, have come. The 28-year-old’s third album was one of the best pieces of art this year. The Gbona crooner received rave reviews for the effort he put in the work.

He is currently on a European tour and has visited cities like Amsterdam, Brussels, Munich, London and Paris already. With sold out shows in Manchester United and Leicester still to come, it has indeed been an incredible year for Burna.

Enquiry is not the point... If she's happy feeding off the dregs of the pot because of Love and her husband likes it, cool.

The nonsense is when men see that nonsense as being a good wife and others that don't lower themselves to that standard as being bad wives.

Men like Zuckerberg treat their women right. Pussy weak African men with weak accounts want to be worshipped to massage their ego.

My Woman and my daughter will be treated like the Queens they are.
So your sons don't deserve to be treated as Kings too?

Or you mean women alone are meant to be worshipped and treated as demi - gods?

Cuz you ladies always tag yourselves as Queens when in reality you don't act close to that.

Chase the bag guys and watch how those girls you think were the most prettiest at the time, fade away.

CelebritiesTwitter User Vows To Block Tacha Titans From Getting Visas & Job Abroad by WriterNig(op):
A UK-based female twitter user has declared that she will do all in her power to ensure that all Nigerians that supported Tacha at the just concluded #BBNaija reality TV show never get a job in any of the company she consults for (apparently she is a consultant?) and additionally she would ensure the US embassy blocks visa's of all Tacha Titans. She "backed-up" her claims with various official researches carried out by a project sponsored by the US embassy in the past on how they look for instigating tweets and posts on social media.

I do not believe supporting a celebrity on a TV should count as offensive, but again in Nigeria almost everything is possible. There is no rule of law or one particular manner in which things are achieved in Nigeria, checkout her message below:

CelebritiesRonaldo Vs Messi : British Football Pundits Fight Dirty On Twitter (Pics) by WriterNig(op):
Piers Morgan was upset that new best friend Cristiano Ronaldo didn't win the FIFA Best Men's Player of the Year Award and was then shut down by Gary Lineker.

Last week Morgan and Ronaldo were given many plaudits for the formers interview of the Juventus star and the Good Morning Britain presenter was in no doubt who the best player ever way.

When he learned on Monday night that it was Messi who'd been crowned the Best Player of the Year the 54-year-old wasn't too happy, taking to Twitter to explain why his new bestie should have won.

That though sparked Morgan's own rival, certainly social media rival, and number one Messi fan boy Gary Lineker into a defence of the Barcelona star.

Lineker, a former Barca forward himself, pointed out that Messi's numbers were superior, after all he did win the European Golden Shoe, and pointed out that being interviewed by Morgan doesn't make a player better.

There's a good chance that neither man is right and actually Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk, who split the forwards to finish runner up to the Argentina ace, should have won the award.

The centre back was named UEFA's Player of the Year last month, helped transform Liverpool into title contenders, won the Champions League with the Reds and was a runner up in the Nations League with Netherlands.

Last year was the first time in 10 years that neither Messi or Ronaldo were named as the best player in the world, either at FIFA's own event or the Ballon d'Or, but Messi has brought the trophy home.

Morgan clearly thinks it's gone to the wrong home and there's certainly arguments to be made about all three, the problem for the interviewer, Lineker and everyone else is that there's no right answer and we're all really biased towards our favourite.

Who do you think should have won?

SportsI Sold Pure Water On Lagos Streets, Life Was Tough - Victor Osimhen by WriterNig(op): 8:23am On Sep 21, 2019
Victor Osimhen has opened up about his grass to grace story in the city of Lagos.

In his latest interview with BBC Osimhen revealed how tough it was for him growing up as a child. The Super Eagles striker, who has already scored five goals in Ligue 1 this season for Lille, said he once hawked sachet water on the streets of Lagos when he just seven-years-old.

“I came from a very poor background, seven children and I was the last born. I lost my mom at the age of six and it was very difficult for my family because my dad also lost his job around that period. So I was forced to go out and get myself a life.

“In Lagos, they sell water (bottle or sachet) which is the easiest, but the hardest because you have to run and give somebody the water and collect money.

“It wasn’t easy, but I had to do it and that set my path in which I will never give up in life no matter the situation or where I am and that gave me the zeal and momentum no matter what life throws at me.”

CelebritiesKevin-Prince Boateng: I Was An Idiot, I Bought 3 Cars In A Day by WriterNig(op): 4:12pm On Sep 11, 2019
Kevin-Prince Boateng has sensationally revealed he once purchased three cars in one day while at Tottenham.

The 32-year-old has regularly struggled to settle at a team and is now at the 11th club of his career having joined Fiorentina from Sassuolo this summer.

But now one of the older players in the dressing room, Boateng has regrets from his younger days and feels he 'didn't treat football as a job' when he was spending his money in England.

I'll go back and say: I didn't treat football as a job,' he told La Repubblica.

'I was an idiot. I had talent, but I trained the bare minimum, an hour on the field. I was the last to arrive and the first to leave. I'd be out with friends. I had money, I lived like a king. I'd never been to the gym. That changes your later career.

'I bought three cars in one day when I was at Tottenham: a Lamborghini, a Hummer and a Cadillac. To the youngsters, I tell them: "You cannot buy happiness".

'I didn't play, I had family problems, I was out of the squad. I was looking for happiness in material things: a car makes you happy for a week. I bought three to be happy for three weeks.'

Boateng's journey hasn't been the most straightforward, moving from club to club during a 15-year career to date and when at AC Milan, it took a very sour turn.

He was racially abused during a Milan friendly in 2013 against Pro Patria and he reacted by kicking the ball into the stands before walking off the pitch as his team-mates followed.

He added: 'I also think of the three-year-old boy kicked in Cosenza for the colour of his skin. That was the incident that hurt me the most.

'The chants at the stadium want to remind us when our grandparents were slaves. But those who make those chants, before being racist, are ignorant.

'Ignorance must be abolished. At school, we must introduce an hour of integration: we must tell our children that we're all the same. They're our future.'

CelebritiesNeymar Jr Turns Actor, Features In Netflix's TV Series "Money Heist" by WriterNig(op):
While Barcelona negotiate his signing in Paris, Neymar announced on social media his participation in the next series of the Spanish TV series 'Money Heist'.

The meeting between PSG and Barcelona over Neymar's potential signing has finished. 'Le Parisien' reports that the Catalans offered €170 million in two instalments and the French club promised to give a reply between Tuesday night and Wednesday to see if there is an agreement.

However, Neymar has confirmed that he is joined 'Money Heist', one of his favourite TV series, in which he will play a monk in various episodes of the third series of the Spanish TV series which can be seen on Netflix.

The footballer, who last November shared a photo in social media dressed as red monk and a with a mask of Dali together with his teammate Kylian Mbappe, will appear in the 6th and 8th episodes of the last series. These episodes were broadcast without Neymar's bits included last July because of the rape accusation against him.

Once the Brazilian courts shelved the case due to a lack of evidence, Netflix has uploaded those episodes. this time with the scenes which include Neymar, a 'Netflix' source told 'EFE'.

The Spanish programme, which follows a group of bank robbers during various robeeries, gained record audiences for its third series, with more than 34 million viewers all over the world in the seven days after its release. The scenes of the Brazilian player, who will appear for the first time in the series, were filmed at the beginning of the year.

Neymar is not the only celebrity who likes 'Money Heist': the writer, Stephen King, Israel's Netta, who won Eurovision 2018 and the singer Romeo Santos have publicly said they are fans of the TV series. It is produced by Alex Pina and the main actors are Ursula Corbero, Alvaro Morte and Itziar Ituno, among others.

However, Neymar has been a fan for ages. After the player shared an image of himself dressed up as a bank robber to congratulate Mbappe on his birthday, 'Money Heist's Twitter account wanted to welcome him to the team and offered him four names to hide his identify: Sao Paulo, Paris, Barcelona or Madrid.

Neymar rejected all four options and went for 'Santos', his surname and the name of the Brazilian club where he started his career.

SportsDon't Have Dinner With Cristiano Ronaldo - Patrice Evra Warns Messi by WriterNig(op): 5:08pm On Aug 31, 2019
Patrice Evra has warned Lionel Messi against having dinner with Cristiano Ronaldo after recalling his infamous lunch date with the Juventus star.

The flamboyant left-back, 38, couldn’t resist having another dig at his old Manchester United team-mate for their now-well-known “training session” meal.

Evra once warned the world against “eating” with Ronaldo as it will turn into a workout – now he’s urged Messi to reject CR7’s date offer.

After Thursday’s Champions League draw, Evra posted a snap of himself catching-up with Ronaldo in Monaco.

The ex-France international captioned the Twitter post: “@Cristiano: ‘Are you coming for lunch or no?’

“Me: ‘Thank you but I just retired so I don’t need another training session.”

The former West Ham and Juventus defender had previously tweeted about Ronaldo, saying: “He is a machine!!

“Just don’t go to his house for lunch it’s like another training session!”

His latest well-natured jibe came after Ronaldo offered to take Messi out for dinner after the Barcelona star clinched the Forward of the Year in Monaco.

Crime$11 Million Fraud: Obinwanne Okeke Faces 30 Years In Jail - FBI by WriterNig(op): 10:29pm On Aug 28, 2019
Obinwanne Okeke, the Nigerian young ‘businessman’ who was recently arrested in the United States for $11 million fraud, could spend up to 30 years in jail if convicted.

Mr Okeke was charged with two counts of computer fraud and wire fraud, which carry a maximum 10 and 20 years respectively, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt.

Mr Okeke, widely known as Invictus Obi, is being remanded at 401 Courthouse Square, Alexandria, VA 22314, which serves as the district headquarters of the U.S. Marshall Service.

His remand order was issued at a preliminary hearing shortly after his arrest.

Mr Okeke was arrested on August 6 in Alexandria, Virginia, just moments before he was scheduled to return to Nigeria.

He appeared before Michael Nachmanoff, a magistrate with the District Court of Eastern District of Virginia, on August 7 to answer charges of wire fraud.

The charges were investigated by the F.B.I. and filed against Mr Okeke by the U.S. Department of Justice, with both authorities saying they were convinced that Mr Okeke duped a UK subsidiary of Caterpillar up to $11 million in business email fraud, amongst other charges.

Mr Okeke has since hired John Iweanoge, a Washington D.C. criminal attorney of Nigerian origin, as his lead defence counsel.

Indefinite remand

Mr Okeke did not enter a plea at his initial arraignment, but he was remanded in custody indefinitely in accordance with the U.S. federal laws on the nature of the criminal complaints against him, according to Joshua Stueve, a spokesperson for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.

His remand would last until a jury has been selected to look into the charges against him, which may take several weeks.

“It may take another two weeks before a new date is fixed for him to appear in court again,” Mr Stueve told PREMIUM TIMES on Wednesday.

The spokesperson, however, warned that Mr Okeke would likely get below the maximum sentence.

“Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after taking into account the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors,” Mr Stueve said.

CelebritiesSaudi Arabian Dad Accidentally Buys Two Planes Worth N108 Billion For His Son by WriterNig(op):
A report by Middle East Monitor has claimed that an unidentified Saudi Arabian father ‘accidentally’ purchased two airplanes for his son as birthday present.

According to the report, the man had planned to buy two small scale models of Airbus A350 planes for his son and reached out to the second biggest aerospace company, Airbus, to place an order.

However, it was gathered that due to a language barrier, the company had thought he meant to order real planes and went on to process the order.

As regards payment, Middle East Monitor reports that the father who is a big investor in the energy sector of Saudi Arabia got lost in the currency conversion and even though he thought it was expensive, he regarded it as affordable and went on to make payments.

The mistake was noticed months later when the company, Airbus allegedly called the man and asked if he wanted to fly the plane himself. It was then the two gigantic Airbus A350 worth N108 billion ($300 million) were delivered.

It was said that the blunder left the wealthy man confused and he eventually decided to keep the planes and gift one to his cousin.

The report which is now making rounds on the internet has gotten a lot of reactions, with many people wishing to have such a wealthy father.

EducationStudent Fails French Exam After Naming Cristiano Ronaldo As The Goat by WriterNig(op): 11:14pm On Aug 23, 2019
A student failed his French exam by a single mark after he named Cristiano Ronaldo alongside a picture of a goat.

Ahmed Nabil, 15, was presented with a variety of different animals in the paper but rather than write down a sensible answer, he included a certain five-time Ballon d'Or winner in his answers.

"It was a French exam I did two years ago." he told SPORTbible.

"For me personally, it was a very hard test and one of the sections was: write the meaning of every animal we show you but in french.

"I couldn't remember what a goat was called in french, so I thought I'd do something creative and make a couple of my mates laugh instead of just leaving it empty."

Nabil revealed to us that he actually failed the French exam by a single mark.

The above tweet did receive over 15,000 likes in the space of 24 hours, so that may provide a crumb of comfort as many agreed that Ronaldo is in fact, the greatest of all time.

Manchester United fan Nabil believes that is the case, although he does admit a hint of bias.

"If anyone asks me who I think is the goat is, I'll tell him them Ronaldo but deep down I'm not that sure." he told us.

"Sometimes I think that Messi is better but because of my bias, the former United player is the greatest."

In the exact same exam, Nabil also mentioned Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil in his answers.

"The other blank box was a mistake by the teacher, so I thought I'd continue my "football themed" answer and write Ozil." he said.

"When the teacher finally gave me the exam she literally had no reaction. I don't think she even knew who Ronaldo and Ozil was, so she didn't tell me anything afterwards."
