Please be detailed. I really wish to know because this very annoying charge has been used as the major plank of APC propoganda against Jonathan. And like we all know, when a propoganda piece is repeated contineously, it starts to take the form of a reality. I ask this because I actually think that Jonathan is by far the most detrablised leader Nigeria ever had since the days of Nnamdi Azikiwe. Take a look at that mans cabinet, how many are ijaws? Take a look at his projects, is it not obvious that most were in the north? His appointments has been fair across board compared to ALL previous regimes. Where are those evidence of his tribal/religious chauvinism??

1 .In 1993, Abiola and Babagana Kinjibe-( A yoruba and Hausa man both Muslims ) won that election against Hausa man Tofa from Kano state. Infact Abiola won Tofa im Kano state. Can that happen now? Then who caused it?
2. Jonathan told the Igbos from the North that went to congratulate him after the 2011 elections that he knows that the only vote he got from the North were from them- is this presidential?
3 Any appointment from the North by Jonathan were mostly Northern christians untill when the elections were getting closer, then he started to do otherwise. But it was too late. This would not have been a problem if not his(Jonathan's) antecedent.
4 go and check the constitution of his carbinate and also the scheming of the leadership in the two houses of the National assembly.
5 Jonathan begin to pay state visit to churches both home and abroad forgeting that the mandate he holds is for every Nigerians. What will you if you are a christian say if Buhari starts such visits now? Nobody is stoping him from going to church.
6 Oritsejiafor started his own. Each time the Boko haram strike, he will go to the air telling us that the christians should arm themselves against the muslim. Insulting the entire muslims in the North for killing the christians even when it was clear that the muslims were also victims. Jonathan gave him such notion and allowed such nonsense.
7 The Ijawa and the Igbos were martialed into ethnic devide. This we all saw before during and after the election. Each groups issuing various threats to other regions. Jonathan as the head of the country could not stop,arrest or presecute them even if it were a smoke screen.
8. When Dariye of Plateau allowed the Fulanis to be killed by the Birom, Obasanjo quickly declearda state of immergency in that state. But the present Governor started the same war, Jonathan rewarded him with 16>19 governors forum election. What nonsense!
9.His wife went to the air to insult every Northernan. What comes out of the wife of a man reflects their bedroom discussion.
Again, i repeat; Jonathan is a plague and who ever thinks contrary should pray that Jonathan should happen to his life.

I just wish that there will be a provission for singles and fathers or mothers on the signature of every Nairalander. So that before you reply a statement you will have known who you are going to talk to. Those of us whose government policies affects directly are different from those overfed kids who are not aware of the heat their guardians are going through before they put food on their tables. Jonathan came; increased all the basic needs of lives; Could not curb insecurity; destroyed most things he met; aproved ethnoreligious devide amongs Nigerian; increased light bills by more than 100% with 'no light' to show for it.
To me, Jonathan is a plague and any body who thinks contrary should pray for someone like Jonathan to happen to their lives.

The birth of peace is not in the killing of these 'extremist' but the killing of what makes them 'extremist'. There is no freedom for the muslims to practice their religion but there is freedom for Gay. Just go and look at what happened in Egypt- where a democratically elected government was mowed down in a military coup. The coup plotter instead of being sanctioned by the UN as it is surposed to be was allowed to conduct an election which made him president. He didn't stop at that; he excorsised the muslim brotherhood party killing and jailing its members while the whole world looked the other way.. What sort of injustice is that? If these people takes up arms now, they will starts saying that muslims are terrorists. If you are going to kill a muslim, kill him but not as a matter of his religious belief because he is not allowed to leave such injustice unqestioned. Note that i am not in any way supporting the killing of innocent civillians by any guise.

I am yet to come to terms on why the other part of the country will not allow these people to simply go away and form their 'Isreal' in Africa. Each time they have an opportunity the maim the North and destroy its essence- a study case is the proxy war on Boko haram where Ihejirika led the army to kill General Shuwa, destroyed the largest cattle market in Africa(Potiskum), destroyed the largest fishery market in Africa(Bama) and thousands of innocent civillians all in the name of fighting boko haram. I have started telling my Northern friends that if the present elite refuses to devide this country, we shall do that during our time. Buhari should just stablise the Northern economy and let us seperate. If the Northern elites did not seperate this country at the apropriate time;one day they will slip into power like GEJ and also look for an opportunity to destroy any development we have achieved. Every body in the North seems to be in total darkness about boko haram. So is not a rocket science that someone is truly behind it- and who could that be order than the people in power who have shown such desdain to the North. They have done that before, did it now and shall be happy to do it again. Just imagine the amount of destruction that happened to the North and all these people could do is to blame the North for salvating themselves by voting out the 'plague'. The seperation I shall scheme for as long as i live. Proudly Arewa.

This is his regime wher he has the opportunity to cover all these mess and yet my ears are itching me on the revelation allready in the media. The problem is not even the recruitment, but this administration of GEJ is 'Sarkin Nepotism'. The appointment will be so lopsided that some section of the country so hated by the outgoing regime will be shortchanged again all in the name of 'merit'.

these tribes you mentions are doing great in schools and they also struggle like any other person in Nigeria to get admition, however. Believe it or not; when people talk about backwardness of the north. These people you mentioned never comes to mind because they dont have the privileges some other people in the same north have.

Yes; these are internal wrangling when it comes to the 'whole of the North'. So when other regions are talking about the North, they should understand that there are othe tribes like we have both agreed above. To generalise the whole thing is what i dont like. Jonathan tried to explore that 'wrangling' for political gains but he failed to understand that when it rain ice, every one is affected. Had it been he did it with pure heart, he would have succeeded. The 'other' tribes in the North feels more comfortable with the Hausa/Fulani than others because they(Hausa/Fulanis) dont eat with both hands- if you know what that means.

Dont you think that tells us more than we are hearing?

The difference between 137 & 20 is 117... Some of us would want to believe that the north is not backward but what we see in reality affects our believe about the north & attitude towards education.

The reason for this is to ecourage people who have interest only in Islamic education to buy into the western one. But those who are willing to study are truly bright. Know that it is only the core Northern states that have such nonchalance towards western education. The Ebiras, Nupes,Ighalas, Idomas,Kajes, Birom, Gwaris etc are all tribes in the North that do not play with book. Why not extend the hand of presidential schorlaship to all those other tribes?

Why people dey complain about renovation like this? Note that renovation is different from reconstruction It is possible Jonathan has painted some place with some religious inscription which must certainly be removed; the kitchen that must have been occupied by dog meat, pork, and ogogoro shouldn't be removed or what? The beds that must have been used for illicit activities should not be removed to accomodate the heart fulfilment of the new occupant? Renovation is good. The only thing is that there should be no wastages.

If you can't win in an election without wholesale rigging, thuggery and violence then you have no place in the mordern Nigeria we are trying to craft. INEC MUST tackle these issues NOW if not they WILL happen again.
