Politics / Re: Our Biggest Mistake Was To Appoint Fani- Kayode As Jonathan’s Campaign Manager by Wsdm: 5:36pm On Apr 05, 2015

Northern Nigeria has polio; Higher rates of malnutrition; higher rates of illiteracy; 70-90% living in absolute poverty (depending upon the state); higher rates of fistula; higher rates of maternal death during childbirth; higher rates of child-marriage. Those are not signs of good leadership.

The reason why the Brits wanted the northerners in charge was so that the country would be easier to exploit. Those people are not your friends, they do not have your interests at heart - they want you to remain as backwards and as feudal as ever. If we are being honest northern leaders are why we have so many refineries so far removed from the source, which is logistically nonsensical.

The most destructive and regressive leaders in Nigerian history were Ahmadu Bello, Ibrahim Babangida and Sani Abacha - they all set in motion policies and ideas that divided and destroyed a potentially great nation. Remind me where they hail from?

Without southern intelligence and ingenuity, traits that are commonly found in society that allow for upward mobility and personal freedom, Nigeria would be truly hopeless.
They met the North well organise but not in westaren cultures. They met the South practicing bistiality and could not easily refine them as they have limited time to spend here.

Over 100 people dead as a result of the APC 'celebrations':
https://www.nairaland.com/2233206/over-100-people-die-buhari

Some people will lie so brazenly with no sense of embarrassment.
Have you ever heard of tears of joy? This one could be 'death of joy'. At least, they didn't kill others.

Come to the North and see how the y are managing their victories(the APC) and their loses(the PDP) with maturity. Truly, the Britain knew why they left the leadership of Nigeria in the hands of the North.

You are the one displaying a lack of local knowledge, that place/area is not as "core Muslim" as your post suggests.
I talk based on what i know. Could you please tell me how many first class chiefs from that region that are christian? David Umar's campaign representative in my area is a very high ranking Islamic scholar.

Don't just talk if you don't have fact! Niger East senatorial district is not a core Muslim environment. Population is spread mainly between Christians, Muslims and animists. Don't bring religion to this issue
And how comes Buhari won that region eventhough the Northern christian Minorites mostly keyed into Christian presidency. Look, i have lived in that senatorial district since 1988 and i know what exactly i am talking about.
Politics / Re: David Umaru Responds To Claims By Dr. Muazu Babangida Of Ignoring His Calls by Wsdm: 5:39am On Apr 03, 2015
...and a core Muslim environment voted a christian in place of a muslim! The quest to insult the Northern Muslims for being a bigot is jeopardized. Others should just learn this amiable qualities and stop the hate. The yorubas too are also to be comended for producing house of rep from another tribe.

when people say igbo lose election you ask how, Igbo never lose, the losers are south south, they lost credibility, they lost their mind and they will lose their oil well and environment. Since 1070 igbo never ruled but it has not stop igbo from been the most educated tribe, it has not stooped igbo land from having the highest income distribution, it has not stopped igbo land from having industries ranging from ICT and car manufacturing, it has not stoped igbo from having the biggest online trading firms like www.slot.com, www.wakanow.com, www.PTVphones.com and biggest onlie blogs making million employing igbos such as linda ikeji, bella naija..it has not stoped igbo from progessing

one thing the lack of president did or is doing for igbo is that it made them understand that they do not have any body to depend but on their-selves and brain with God been on their side...

look at how the Yoruba and Hausa are bragging, that it what presidency does to them, it gives them wrong sense of fulfilment and achievement while their problem such as high level of touting, pverty, omo nili mentality, almajirism and polio and illiteracy looms around

since north have presidency have they produced likes of chimamanda, chinua, elechi amadi and other global known literary giants ..the answer is big No, yoruba managed only Wole soyinka thats all.

You can see what dependence on politics and governance can do to some region. The same way dependence on oil never impacted on Niger delta, the best thing depend on yourself

KEEP SAYING WE ARE APC...LET ME KNOW IF APC Will buy you that car that you will drive, buy you that great perfume or put food on your tables....

Bunch of confused lots
Oh my goodness!
Richness and development is a relative terminology. A man who drives that truck on the street of the North is contented with what God has provided for him far more than even a billionair from the East.
I am not asking any government to come and give me a car. What i ask of government is freedom, security and enabling environment for hard work to thrive.
It is your little knowledge of the impact of government policies on any kind of business that makes you think that you are not perturbed about the presidency. You may have to go and ask all the moribund companies simply due to bad govt policies on electric power supply .
Socialization is when you integrate your self with the reality of your environment. But i am sorry, you have not yet embrace this simple definition.

but the post didnt say why IGbo will never rule, I gave answer to why igbo are not interested in presidency for now...when they are interested in presidency they will get it, trust igbos and their aggressive way of doing things...igbo are just seriously interested in having the biggest economy in Africa which is Nigeria and west african economy and from the look of things they are not doing badly in that aspect ..after considering that the North have the highest level of poverty and iliteracy yet they have been ruling and take yoruba that produced obasanjo and shonekan yet they have the highest brown mud houses in ibadan and ogbomosho then having the highest touts and omo nile in the whole ASfrica ..that made igbo to focus on economic path and group economics is what they practise

we can just let boko haram bomb North the after we do the clean up which we will be paid, that is the African Jews.I am not losing sleep over GMB-GEJ madness all I am interested is how to ensure my proposals get approved and how I can have a business In ghana and Lagos....so that is igbo

jews are not in power but they rule by proxy and igbo are good students of jews

So can we go back to the threa topic bro
It is good idea. But that is only if you people are ever united to pursue that front.
Let me educate you little about the North perchance you may learn some lesson.
Aliyu Babangida of Niger state is from Sokoto state by origin.
Shekarau the former Governor of Kano state is also from Sokoto.
In the North, there is nothing like state of Origin so far you are from the North.
They are accomodating to others; that is why they have the highest number of 'imigrants' from other parts of the country- Ask why the Igbos in the North would rather die there than leave for his home land. You may want to argue that but i dont care.
Do you have any of such qualities in your tribe?Permit me to take my leave as i am in celebration mood right now. Thanks.

We are not crazy about president we are crazy about either let have the economic power which we are doing gradually and also have our homeland biafra keep the presidency...it has made north so pooer that they are poorest region, obasanjo was president it did not change the roof tops of ibadan or huts in ogbomoso so forget the presidency give us the Nigerian and West African Economy.

But the theme of the post is not about Biafra or economic independence.
Politics / Re: Buhari's Presidency: Tribalism Wins Competence by Wsdm: 11:02am On Apr 01, 2015
Go and check the results; check the percentage of votes each candidate got from the various regions and see whose results is more inclined to ethnicity. Why is it so hard for you people to be magnanimous enough to accept this result and be calm? If everyone is inclined to your advice, then no way people from your side will ever become president of Nigeria.

Politics / Re: Igbo And Hausa Need Reconciliation Cos They Are Grave Enemies Elction by Wsdm: 7:06am On Mar 31, 2015
It is the Igbos that need to be tutored in one Nigeria. After causing the the problems of 1966 they refused to integrate theirselves into the Nigeria state. They are the highest tribes that lives outside their domain and also the ones that looks at their hosts as fools. They dress naked and mocks the descent dresses of their host; They call themselves Biafrans and still claims marginalization. You need to see how even as at yesterday an Ibgo man was threatning us with war in Suleja(Niger state) if Buhari is eventually anounced as the winner. The problems of the Igbos are the Igbos. As simple as that.

Core northern state.?

No sir its not a core northern state but a MD state and not mostly muslims its almost evenly divided ask those who stay in the state qoute me if i am lieng..

David Umar has been winning talba since there battle @ governoship level over the years, but trust PDP.
Talba aliyu is a sokoto man claiming Niger state and claiming to be a GBARI man for that matter yet he does not understand same he has been sent back to sokoto.

Its as simple as ABC.

The original founders and elderstatemen of APC In Niger state is David Umar and co.

He has spent over 10years moving from ANPP - CPC now to APC the guy is eating the fruit of his labour.

lastly the state is too mixed up with families having siblins from the opposite religion so no time for SH*T
So no religious painting involved.
But this Senatorial district is predominantly muslim. Almighty Suleja(somehow like Zaria city) is part of it. Infact, i am a muslim and we all voted for this kind man not consedering his religion. I hope that the Other parts of Nigeria follow such thrend. Buhar factor also played a wonderful role. It is APC all the way. If Talba no fit to rig for himself, na GEJ he go come rig for?

The fact is that Islam or most muslims are allergic to other faiths regardless of whether the people were of the same ethnic group.
The only language of deterent Islam understands is retaliation through violence.
To the contrary, there don't have to be "tension" before most muslims will attack any peaceful loving group living with them.

Sad fact.
Are they also muslims; those tormenting people in the South. It is election season and the political tugs all over the federation have been activated by politicians to cause problem. So leave religion out of this.
