You have done well by assisting the sons brother. You'll do better by giving the man something from time to time. You don't need to remind him anything, just leave hi for God. What can the wife do? Is she educated at all? Can she run a small business? Are you in talking terms with his former wife and 3 married daughters? Can you advise them on the need to come to the aid of their father no matter what he has done? I'm saying this because I know a bit about the conditions of pensioners in Ondo State in the past one year. The new governor is trying to be up to date but the arrears owed by the former administration is a big problem that continues to swallow whatever they earn now, more so your relation didn't seem to save for times like this and there's no help for from from his children. I also guess that he wasn't too responsible to the 3 daughters because women are not known to be that hard in rendering help to their parents. So many questions I could ask, please for God sake, that man need assistance, do your own bits and help him to talk to his daughters, cheers. |
mhiztaNexy:very funny, this is a woman who always appear very neat and decent o. Her hubby caught her so cheaply. |
This woman and her husband lives in a flat in the compound next to mine. There have been rumours of the wife being involved in extra marital affairs since early last year. I have heard several versions of such stories since last year. My electrician who also doubles as plumber lives in the bq of the woman's apartment. He will always tell us stories of the woman's escapade each time he comes to fix anything for us, to the point that the woman usually brings in another man each time her hubby travels. Yesterday night the unbelievable happened. I heard a big noise from the flat and had to come out to know what's up. The man travelled to Auchi, Edo State since last Sunday, promising to stay till tomorrow Saturday. Meanwhile there was already a trap set to catch the woman. The hubby commissioned an informant (I suspect that my electrician/plumber is the person) to inform him anytime she brings in the other man. The man returned from Auchi since Tuesday and hid himself in a guest house not too far from our street. By around 9.30pm yesterday, the other man drove in and her hubby was immediately informed by his informant. The hubby came by 9.55 pm on a bike, entered the compound and deflated the tyres of the car of his wife's concubine. The two lover birds were inside not knowing what was happening outside. The man later entered the house and shouting started. Their landlord who live in the other flat had to bring in the police to prevent somebody from commuting murder. The concubine who was soaked in blood, the wife and the hubby were taken away by the police. Their two little boys had to stay with the Madame of the landlord. Police came early this morning with a vulcanizer to remove the man's Toyota Corolla from the scene. The hubby have returned home but nothing have been heard of the concubine and the woman. |

Beautiful story, I wish them happy married life. |
This is now close to one year, Iyke's sister really helped, Judith's car was retrieved in August 2016, it was in a very bad shape. The car was sold off, she got a smaller Gold 3 she now drives around. Judith's dad paid off our cooperative money while Judith is left with servicing First Bank's loan till 2018. Iyke was actually using Judith money to process a visa to Canada, he was duped too. They have gone their separate ways, Judith looks sober and serious these days, she has already enrolled for her masters at FUTA and that is taking much of her times, she's busy now. I think she's getting over Iyke, thank you nairalanders. |
Dr Olusegun Mimiko ruled Ondo State as if he'll be governor forever. He's out of government house for just one month and his acts are crumbling like the pack of cards. Removal of Alhaji Ali Olanusi as deputy governor declared illegal by the court of appeal, his kangaroo election to the Local Councils after 71/2 years of using caretaker committee annulled by the court, more are still coming o. Where are the noise making maddening crowd of hailers who described him as their god? So statements such as "Mimiko will determine whatever happens politically in Ondo State for a very long time" made by one of his ardent bootlickers is nonsensical after all! This life in all its fullness is vanity, so fickle, ephemeral and transient, let's be careful how we use the opportunities God bestows on us, ire o. |
BrutalJab:MMM is a fraud brother |
On the issue of National Housing Fund and National Pension Fund being dissolved, It's either you're lying or your employer duped you, NHF and National Pension Fund are alive and well. Your employer ought to ask you to link with National Mortgage Bank and a pension fund administrator (PFA) to get enrolled in these schemes, he must have deducted your money without remitting it anywhere. Fraudsters everywhere, I am enrolled in the 2 schemes, 17 of my colleagues recently got loan from NHF for house renovation, I am expecting mine in the new year, your dad and those millions who paid into NHF and got nothing may not have told you the truth or were ignorant of the fact that one can actually benefit from NHF or that their contributions are usually refunded upon retirement if not utilized. I can tell you my balance in the pension fund anytime, even if I just wake up from my sleep, recent retirees from Federal Civil Service since 2005 are enjoying the new pension scheme brother. However the fact that you were employed by a fraudster goes to corroborate your assertion that your were born into a Ponzi anyway. |
segalex:Same for Dr Mimiko of Ondo State. Paid June salary just recently. |

what type of engine is it carrying? |
kaypound:By the time Mimiko's records are opened, every Nigerian will discover that these formal governors going thru trial in various courts are small boys in terms of stealing, Mimiko na super man. He squandered so much money on issues that have no bearing on his state. |
How will he be able to pay salaries after wasting his state's money on frivolities, its good riddance for the Iroko of Ondo State. |
Outgoing Ondo State governor, Olusegun Mimiko, was the arrowhead of the claim that Muhammadu Buhari, at the time the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, did not have the West African School Certificate (WASC), a senior minister under former President Goodluck Jonathan has revealed to SaharaReporters. According to the account, Dr. Mimiko then approached the then Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Bello Adoke, to issue a fiat to a lawyer from Ondo State to commence legal proceedings against Buhari, with a view to disqualifying him as a candidate. Bello, reportedly now on self-exile in Holland, reportedly asked President Jonathan if he knew of the plan by Mimiko to prosecute Buhari for not having a WAEC certificate, but Jonathan was non-committal. That made Bello to advise against the idea, saying that by having been Head of State, an Army General and attending the War College, Buhari already had more qualifications than the WASC. However, Mimiko decided to take matters into his own hands by funding a myriad of lawsuits to disqualify Buhari using Ondo State funds to enable several groups and lawyers to file multiple lawsuits. The former minister, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Mimiko was one of the hawks who pushed Jonathan to do lots of “crazy” things, including at one point asking Jonathan to order the arrest of Buhari over unproven allegations that he was aiding Boko Haram insurgents. http://saharareporters.com/2016/12/07/how-governor-mimiko-funded-certificate-legal-warfare-against-buhari |

Jegede himself is a political neophyte, imagine a governorship aspirant telling the people of the state he'll start from where Mimiko ends, that statement was interpreted to mean so many things by so many people. The workers who are being owed 7 months The traders who're presently suffering the effects of non payment of salaries The okada riders who was terribly dealth with by Mimiko The artisans who have been having it rough economically |
