CREATE YOUR GENERATIONAL WEALTH BY FARMING OIL PALM PLANTATION WITH KKFARMS
As year 2025 is fast approaching ,If you have a piece of land laying idle in the village I will advise you to plant oil palm tree on it .Instead you waiting to buy 10 to 20 acres of land why don't you start with an acre of land at your disposal ?
2 to 3 acres of well planned oil palm plantation can be more productive and profitable than a big plantation with no adequate farm mentainance .The 10 acres proposal on oil palm plantation You read in my previous post has a lot of financial implication hence you might need to start with one or two acres and continue to develop the rest of the farm as you progress and before you know the first acres you planted within 3 years would have start bearing fruits which could provide finance to develop the entire plantation .Patience and perseverance is all you need .
An acre of oil palm plantation under good agronomic practice within year 3 to 5 is capable of producing between 1000 to 1500 litres of palm oil excluding palm kernel oil and palm kernel cake which are additional products that generate revenue .Considering the price obtainable in the market for palm oil a litre is sold around around 1000 to 1,500 naira ,for a farmer that is able to achieve 1000 to 1500 litres of fresh palm oil will generate revenue of 1million to 1.5million annually from an acre of oil palm plantation ,meanwhile the oil yield per acre will continue to increase towards 2,000 litres as the oil palm tree continue to grow year in year out .
You can become the next generation of farmer that will supply our local market with palm oil and palm kernel oil. if you are bless enough to set up a big plantation you can sell your product to companies that require palm oil and palm kernel oil such as cosmetics ,food industry ,pharmaceuticals and engine lubricant companies .these are few of the industries that demands palm tree base product to run their businesses and as a farmer who is considering to invest in oil palm farming you have a role to play .what other low risk agribusiness do you need to consider if not oil palm tree that can create a generational wealth and retirement plan for you ?
It worthwhile to mention that as lucrative as oil palm farming could be it require some input from you as a farmer which are listed below
Planting of improved tenera from NIFOR or Supergene( imported ) oil palm seedlings which we can guarantee you supply from our nursery
Regular weeding atleast 3 times in a year to keep weeds away from competing with nutrient available to the oil palm tree
Adequate fertilization 3 times a year during the raining season so as to promote vegetative growth of the oil palm tree to bear bigger fruits after 3 years .
We are always available to work with you in setting up your plantation and provide you with the best quality seedlings from our nursery
Lesgupnigeria: Cashew farming is a very lucrative one which require a diligent effort from land preparation to growing seedlings up to the harvest stage.
I will be sharing some of the important things you need to know and do, in the course of setting up your cashew farm.
This is important because cashew takes minimum of 2 and half years to start fruiting after planting and once you get it right from the beginning, you will continue to enjoy it's dividends.
Someone call me from oyo town recently to come and help check his cashew farm. He complained bitterly that his cashew trees are not fruiting but bring out flowers. On getting there,i discovered that the trees are very close to each other, no proper spacing, poor ventilation, etc. Now its too late to correct.
This thread will cover 1.Getting the right hybrid seedlings 2.Land preparation and Spacing 3.Farm operation activities 4.Harvesting 5.Exportation of Cashewnuts etc
You wouldnot want to miss this. stay tuned. For more information on how to invest in cashew production, kindly like or follow me on www.facebook.com/waleagro

SkylineFrozen: Good morning everyone, Late last year, I bought 5 acres of farmland from ijebu -Igbo from him on behalf of a friend while I also bought 2 acres for myself. Prior to then, I took time out to go view the farmland, met Lesgupnigeria in person and also interact with him one-on-one. Since January I kept asking him when preparation for the farmland will start and he kept telling me it is not time yet. Along the line, I had a medical need that requires me to keep going to the hospital and so couldn’t have time, so I asked Lesgupnigeria (Mr Wale) about managing the farms for both myself and my friend. He said we will need to sign the farm management agreement. He sent it to us and I signed mine but my friend delayed a bit but eventually signed his but Mr Wale has not forwarded back his own signed copy despite asking him severally. Below are my issues with him.
1. I paid for 7 acres, when we brought our own surveyor, only 5 acres was seen.
2. I paid for clearing which was charged at N55,000 per acre and an extra N10,000 for packing and burning what was cleared. The clearing was shabbily done, it didn’t even look like it was cleared at all. The packing and burning wasn’t done. He said because it rained and that instead shrubs were cut for N180,000 and he used the N70,000 meant for packing and burning for that and was even asking for an extra N110,000 saying we owed him that. Pls note that he never asked me if he could go ahead and do that. He didn’t ask me if the funds was available for that, yet he went ahead, against our initial agreement and expect me to cough out N110,000. Moreso, if clearing was done properly, “shrubs” like he put it should have been cleared with it.
3. He said we will pay for perimeter survey, later he called it perimeter measurement and we were charged at N40,000 per acre which totalled N280,000 altogether which was paid. When I went there, all that was used as landmark was a tree standing on its own o which Mr Wale showed me. I have a video of that. I complained but nothing was done. No provisional copy given for the perimeter measurement. How come?
4. Lesgupnigeria rushed me to say if we don’t plant by June ending that we will need to do irrigation, and said we will need to plant 1,000 suckers on each acre, and he said per sucker is N270 so i paid N1,890,000 ( One million, eight hundred and ninety thousand naira) for suckers. There was no evidence of that when I asked. No video evidence to show the vehicle bringing the suckers or the suckers being offloaded. he got offended for asking him for evidence. Note that he also charged me N300,000 for transporting the suckers from Ibadan to the farm. At the farm, the suckers planted is not up to 7,000 from my assessment. I challenge him to prove me wrong.
5. Lesgupnigeria (Mr Wale) also told me that I will need 5 bags of fertiliser at the rate of N14,000 each which totalled N70,000 as well as an extra N15,000 for transporting it to the farm. He said the fertiliser will be used as they were planting the suckers. Pls house, is this done this way?
Doubts started arising when Mr Wale couldn’t provided some evidences I requested for. He also started ignoring my calls sometimes. He started getting less cordial. My friend wasnt happy with the feedbacks I was giving so we had to make an arrangement for a different surveyor and that was when we discovered the farmland isn’t up to 7 acres. I sent Mr Wale a message but he didn’t respond for 3 days.
Then I was advised to call him on phone. He claimed I didn’t know where my farmland ended. Ok now show me, but he has been playing games with me since then. Now he is saying he won’t be available to show me the farmland but that he has delegated someone else to show me. It is not like he has ever introduced me to anyone before. He never gave me anyone’s number so is it a ghost that will show me my farm?
I called him severally yesterday morning, he didn’t pick nor return my calls. I had to call him again in the evening before he picked the call on the 8th dial and his excuse was that he left his phone in the car. Smh! You left your phone in the car since morning? A phone with a sim line that you use for your daily calls, WhatsApp etc?
He gives the impression that he has workers but I don’t think he does. He makes you pay for farmland and thereafter become less cordial with you. HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!
I am challenging him to show me my farmland and also show that he planted 7,000 suckers on 7 acres.
So, have all the issues with this Ijebu-Igbo farmland been resolved since your August 2024 post? Cheers.

nlfpmod: The Nigerian government’s push for the utilisation of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a cheaper and cleaner alternative to fuel is being challenged by the lack of sufficient filling stations.
The CNG initiative has, in recent months, gained traction as many motorists continue to convert their cars in response to the high cost of petrol in the country. However, many Nigerians have described the difficulty in getting their cars refilled as ‘moving from pan to fire.’
“You will not believe that I have been making efforts to refill my car for the past four days, but there is no gas in the station close to me at Durumi, Abuja, except I drive to Airport Road,,” Aisha Umar, an Abuja resident, said.
“How can the government be pushing people to convert their cars without adequate preparation on how these cars will be refilled? We are having conversion centres everywhere but no refilling station.”
The federal government, in July 2024, commissioned six refuelling stations to serve residents of Abuja.
It also commissioned others in Lagos State.
However, these stations have become inadequate, as motorists drive long distances before getting to these stations. In some areas, CNG filling stations can’t be found.
Henry Orji, a businessman at the Gudu Market in Abuja, said he has returned to using petrol to power his car due to unavailability of CNG stations.
“Refilling my car with CNG is really cheap compared to fuel and I can tell you that I have saved some amount since I started using it. But getting it to buy is not as convenient as fuel. We have just this station here serving the whole of these areas,” Orji said.
BusinessDay’s findings also revealed that the high cost of conversion is a disincentive to many Nigerians. Currently, conversion cost ranges from N600,000 to N1,200,000 depending on size of the vehicle.
But speaking to BusinessDay on the cost of conversion, Micheal Oluwagbemi, the programme coordinator, Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI), assured that various products are now being provided by the private sector to make CNG conversion affordability, adding that the government was working on credit facilities that can reduce the cost of conversion.
This is amazing, absolutely unbelievable ! Can we call this an African-science or is there any other valid explanation to this?. Please let's hear it. The quickness at which the goats fall asleep need to be unravel.

Clearly white male Americans want Trump badly and were not ready for a female colored president. America is still majorly white and they don't want immigrants in their country. Period! Musk did no jack!

THIS YEAR 2024 THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY YOU SHOULD NOT SLEEP ON IS CASHEW FARMING AND MARKETING
There is no better time to set up a cashew plantation than now .Last year raw cashew nut was sold between 500k to 600k and this year it rose to 900k to 1.3million per ton .This years inflation as influenced every price of farm produce to increase geometrically and raw cashew nut is not an exclusion .what does this inform you ? " The time is right for you to invest your money in procurement of farmland and planting of cash crop such as cashew nut plantation .
In 2021 ,according to premium times 75% of raw cashews nut produced from Nigeria are exported as we have very few companies that can process it into snacks hence as a farmer we all have a role to play in ensuring that Nigeria earn more forex by increasing our capacity to farm this crop .A simple search online will show you that more than 25 states in Nigeria are suitable for cultivation of cashew tree ,so why are we shying away from this potential that as not been fully tapped ? .Farmers and investors who have set up cashew plantation and mentained the farm deligently 5 years ago can tell you how much revenue they generate from their plantation this year that the price of the product have doubled .
Nigeria currently produces 240,000MT of raw cashew nuts annually, with Kogi State as the leading producer.States like Oyo and kwara state fall under top 5 states leading producer of raw cashew nut .
It is noteworthy that cashew is the cheapest cash crop to cultivate and mentain till harvest .unlike cocoa and oil palm tree ,cashew is very cheap to cultivate and it can easily be converted into cash without any value addition .
If you have an idle farmland in the village ,with less than 200k you can clear the farm ,procure your planting material to set up an acre of cashew PLANTATION and some funds would still be left to mentain the farm for the year .what about having up to 10 acres of idle farmland ,You are one step ahead of becoming a commercial cashew farmer and within 3 to 4 years your plantation would start generating income for you and your family .
When you consider a cheap crop to cultivate with low risk investment that can create a generational wealth for you and your family then cashew farming is for you .
We have farmland available for sale in our farming community in ASA LG of kwara state for as low as 200k to 250k per acre and these farmland are suitable for cashew farming .
If you find this article worthy you can dm for more business discussion on cashew plantation set up and marketing of the product .
TheUnbeatable: The future of Nigerian agriculture still lies majorly on plantation agriculture.
Plantations provide a steady pay check, health insurance and every other benefit that other multinationals provide. Its just that it takes a minimum of 5-9 years before bankable results show.
I call this, saving for the rainy day. Posterity measure, Generational investment, Inheritance for the children and I can keep on qualifying it.
The internet provides good information on cashew business and its still peripherally exploited in Nigeria.
Ogbomoso has one of the best soils for its plantation amidst other places in Oyo state, Kwara state, Kogi state and Ondo North from the best of my knowledge.
It takes a chunk of millions of naira to set up sustainably and it yields a steady, reliable source of income for the progressive elderly.
Nigerians in diaspora and many others should think more of plantations instead of vegetables such as cucumber and other short term crops and think the future.
For feasibility study, business plan, implementation and market plans, set-up, maintenance, regeneration of old plantations:
We handle that for you, getting value for every kobo.
TheUnbeatable: @op. I don't think you have a big problem. I am a field agronomist with 5 years of cashew plantation knowledge. I don't know all but I can guide you. You can not get good result without spending good money to engage seasoned hands to reason your matter.
Firstly, with cashew, the older the better. The older the tree the higher your yield. At 20 years after planting you should have nothing less than 10kg cashew nuts per tree. With all humility, I am one of the little agric boiz that make things happen within western agric space. You can check @adewumijnr on intagram and Facebook. Back to cashew...
Yes, length and intensity of harmattan greatly affects cashew fruiting. That wasn't favourable this season. Irrespective of that your yield is too low.
Do you have cashew anthracnose disease infestation? This is how you notice it. Leave necrosis(yellowing of the leaves turning brown and dry). That can reduce your yield seriously and you will not notice if you aren't an expert.
Cashew is a draught tolerant crop( it means it performs optimally at dry environments. It doesn't like alluvial soil( forest soil). This brings me to the question... Do you have a soil test result you can post here for me to interpret and give you recommendations? If not, getting to the root of this might be difficult. Because your soil can be fertile and not productive( this means you can have some nutrients in abundance when actually you need them in trace quantities. Its just like hormonal imbalance in women. They will be menstrating monthly and never conceiving irrespective of coupulating at the right time).
Leaching might be fighting you ( leaching means rain water or any water you use on the farm washing away the required soil nutrients beyond the reach of your tree roots for uptake)
Wrong use of agrochemicals...
Many things can affect your yield and they are very simple things that might be ignored.
Let me leave you with this note, count all your cashew trees above 7 years and multiply the number by 10kg. That's the quantity of cashew nuts you should be getting annually on the average.
Gastrocnemius: What is the essence of having a large cashew farm without it bringing forth fruits. Knowing well that the joy seen in a cashew farmer can't be over emphasized when he sees each of the branches bringing forth flowers which eventually results into cashew fruit and the seed.
My Dad owns a large cashew farm which occupies most of our farm land. Thereby, depriving us of growing food crops in those areas. With the spike in the price of cashew seeds, it always saddens me when I recall how those trees has been failing us.
As at 3 years ago, we realized 11 bags of the seed. Subsequently, the yield has decreased drastically. We got only 5 bags this year which has become the worst of all. Funny enough, more cashew trees are grown every year. Some of the trees don't bring out flowers at all. whereas, some will and the flowers dry off later.
If you have any information which will make the yield of those trees increase, please, you are welcome.
Lesgupnigeria: Two important things you should do right at the beginning of every farm operations for success to be assured in your farm business
You need to clear the right size of farm and at the same time preserve your topsoil
I remember many years when we cleared 10 acres of land thinking it was 50 acres. We paid the people that cleared the amount for 50 acres and at the end of the day,we made loss.
That's why you need to know how to measure your own land. It's extremely easier to do now with some easy apps.
For those clients on our farm estates locations,I also strongly advice that they map out their land with beacons so they don't make that same mistakes I made several years ago.
How do you clear your farmland so you don't lose your top soil
Your top soil is your everything,if you lose your top soil, you will lose your yield because your crop you planted will not have access to enough nutrient to produce the required yield.
Not having this knowledge and knowing how to go about it is a risk itself
Having knowledgeable, experience people in your team is as important as insuring your farm business.
Lesgupnigeria: You can be part of the solution to food insecurity by starting your own farm business in any of our farm estate locations in ijebu-igbo, ogbomoso and ilorin Follow for update on how to start a profitable farm business in Nigeria www.facebook.com/waleagro
Lesgupnigeria: Right timing is everything in agriculture.
You need a right timing of cultivation that will ensure that you meet the right market; the right market to guaranteed returns on what you have cultivated.
This year weather situation was like 2016 when we had rain for just few months for the whole year.
I am predicting rise in food prices, inflation, famine in 2021 and that's why everyone must grow food in his/her houseyard to reduce the impact.
From my interactions with fellow farmers and the one I witnessed especially in the south western part of this country, many losses were recorded due to erractic nature of weather and this will have great Impact come 2021.
We were very lucky to have a good outing with our okra and soybeans we did this year in our ogbomoso and ilorin farm estate and I can link it up to cultivating at the right time better than the other farmers around.
Okra planting started about 2 weeks before other farmers around started and few weeks into when we started counting our harvesting time, the rain seized.
At the time of the rain seizure, our okra is already well established with fruits just coming out ,of which other farmers' okra that are weeks behind us was unfortunate and failed because the rain stopped at the growing stage.
The same thing for the soybeans.
Right timing for the harvest and for the planting was the factor of success.
The same scenario occur for others who had poor outing.
Rain stopped at the growing stage and it affected a lot of soybeans farmers.
Due to lack of rain, their soybeans grains were of poor, slight greenish unripe one.
On the other hand,we had good white, very ripe grains that command good price in the market.
Being one or two week late to cultivation can have a big impact on the outcome of any crop you cultivate.
In 2021,our cultivation will begin in February and we will be expanding our plantain, oilpalm, cashew etc on our various farm estates.
*****************
I wrote this last year,2022 season is a lot different.
A lot of flash rainfall like we had it in 2012.
Most crops destroyed and I guess food price is going to double up come 2023.
Botragelad: The US election was closely watched in China.
As of 4:00 pm local time (0800 GMT) on Wednesday, several topics related to Trump’s election were among the top trending on the X-like Weibo platform.
“Trump, congratulations! Focus on building your beautiful country and stop thinking about interfering with other countries,” one comment read.
Both candidates in this week’s race had pledged to get tougher on Beijing, with Trump promising tariffs of 60 percent on all Chinese goods coming into the country.
On Xiaohongshu, China’s equivalent of Instagram, a user declared: “The trade war has started.”
“My family does foreign trade and their world has just collapsed,” read another comment on Douyin with nearly 800 likes.
seunoladele: BEFORE YOU MARRY A MAN 20 YEARS OLDER...
You have to take note of the high disparity and see if you can cope.
Will he see you as a friend or a daughter who must always listen to his command and nothing more? Or he will put his age aside and be your best friend, gist mate and romantic partner? You need a young blood to enjoy your life with and age doesn't really determine the freshness of the blood. Attitude is, if you understand what I mean.
I have met guys who were just few years older than me and treated me like a kid with no thought of her own and I have met men far older who treat me like a buddy, some even say "Yes ma". You get it? Attitude basically matters not just the accumulation of numbers.
At forty, your sexual desire peaks and you want more sex like no man's business. At forty, his own sexual desire begins to decline talk less of when he is sixty years old! But with good diet, enough sleep, right attitude to work and a very young heart, the man can boost his libido, desire you like crazy, have sex 2 to 3 times a week and stay on top of his sexual games with you!
One lady separated from her elderly husband because she was starving sexually! There are young men less than thirty or a little over thirty who also starve their wife sex!
Attitude matters.
God's will matters most!
If God says at 25, you will marry a man who is 45, who are we to say NO?
When Jesus says YES, nobody can say NO my dear!
Do not box God!
Still, don't do what your power can't carry!
Not every lady can marry a man far older than she is.
Younger women are attracted to the experiences older men have and find them more mature and stable in terms of finance than guys of their age or slightly older.
So, young women find older men within that 20-year gap in age desirable.
ObaKlaz: Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, has declared her intent to leave the United States following President-elect Donald Trump’s historic re-election victory.
The 20-year-old, who severed ties with her billionaire father in 2022, has been vocal about her disapproval of Trump’s policies, especially those impacting the LGBTQ+ community.
Wilson first distanced herself from Musk by legally changing her name and gender, aiming to sever any connection with her biological father. Now, she says Trump’s return to office has solidified her decision to cut ties with the country as well.
“I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. I don’t see my future being in the United States,” Wilson wrote on Threads on Wednesday, as reported by New York Times.
She added, “Even if he’s only in office for 4 years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon.”
Wilson is one of six children Musk shares with his first wife, Justine Wilson.
She has previously accused her father of being an absent parent who was unsupportive of her transition.
Musk, in turn, has attributed their estrangement to “neo-Marxist” influences at elite private schools and universities, which he claims have caused ideological divides within his family.
In conversations with biographer Walter Isaacson, Elon Musk pointed to the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, describing it as a place that “infected” his daughter with what he calls the “woke mind virus.”
“She went beyond socialism to being a full communist and thinking that anyone rich is evil,” Musk reportedly told Isaacson.
