Divorce in the Hausa community has alot of factors. Flimsy excuses by husbands too is one of them yet it doesn't exonerate the Hausa wives from being major players in the high rate of divorce in the Hausa community.

I won't call it promiscuity (being indiscriminate with their choice of sexual partners) because they are selective when it comes to cheating/choice of partners and time.

Cheating is common with every tribe (no tribe is an exception), so also is chastity .

The point here is...though they (Hausa ladies) cheat, they try to maintain some decorum and doesn't flaunt it around like its normal (even though cheating is cheating n am not justifying their act).

The bolded is true and I can't argue with that fact. My point was; the Hausa men are mostly the reason for their divorce. It still doesn't mean their ladies ain't guilty too.
