Did U remember what happened when Uber slashed their fare by 40% on May 4th 2017. Infact that was when Bolt took over from them. All drivers ran to Bolt office to open account. About 80% of drivers stopped driving on uber platform. Till now i can boastfully say bolt has more drivers than Uber. More drivers = more money for bolt. Uber is just introducing different kinds of promo and incentives to bring back their run away drivers back to their platform. They left Lekki office and came to Maryland mall because they could not afford the rent anymore while bolt started with 3bedroom office and moved to gigantic office in lekki, Now tell me who is growing? It is not by who started first, is by who is pulling d strings and whose impact is more felt in d industry. Bolt has relegated uber 2 years ago.

Bolt is still a force to reckon with in Nigeria, uber just dey do gra gra. When time reach U see bolt step up their game again. They did it before and they will always do it.

But we can all agree Bolts app is crappy. From paused fare rate to driver did not respond when you actually did down to outright error. In all this your rating keeps dropping for in app faults. Again no cancellation fee ( you get to pickup point and rider doesn't show up and doesn't pick your call and after like 10-15 you dicide to cancel and continue your hustle all for free )

How do you politely tell a rider that they need bodyspray, I picked a young lady this morning and the body odour almost killed me and unfortunately for me she sat in front seat. Please share if you have any any experience.

I noticed a lot of riders don't understand the rating system, I just dropped a very happy rider now and in my presence she rated me 1 star, I was shocked, she said she tot she needed to touch all the stars to rate five so she started from 1 and just skip comment. Uber needs to educate riders more

So this evening I picked two boys from onipan to mopol 20 close to police College in ikeja GRA. When we got to our destination, they open my door and bolted into some dangerous dark areas around the police barrack, unfortunately it is taxify, I might never get my money, I'll post their details so drivers can beware.

One year experience in uber taxify and the person still want rental... You need to be very careful with such people. They are very good at using and dumping vehicles.

Weekend should be great with zero uber fees

Uber is becoming a scam, just because I decided to remain in lekki and yesterday, I got several short trips and completed my 15 trips so enable me qualify for the ongoing promo, uber quickly flagged my account as fraudulent, I was very upset I went to their offi e today and was told I requested myself and I took too many short trips, I have never requested myself and am I suppose to reject short trips? I think this is just way to reduce people that gets the promo.

I disagree Sir, I think something is wrong with uber app. 3 weeks ago I got a notification that my account was flagged. I went to their office and I was adviced to get another phone, note that I was using a Samsung galaxy S6 at the point in time. Though I used to get increased fare on some trips and I have written to them till I got tired. Funny thing is I only get the increased fare on uber but taxify fares remains the same and my GPS is calibrated to high accuracy. I changed my phone to a Samsung galaxy S6 edge single SIM and everything was normal for like a week. The following week same issue started and I dashed down to their office, their reply was also same gibberish about changing phones again. Me I kuku carry my stubbornness continue driving with my phone like that. Some days later, I got blocked so I shot them a mail about my effort to resolve the issue and my account was opened again. Now, I remembered I have a Nokia 2 phone that I abandoned somewhere, I uninstalled all other apps on it and I have been using it for uber only. Everything as been fine atleast for now.
