Do your calculations very well bro. Your policy is based on your own idea of how you spend your money. Using your 3 months salary to sort out your annual rent doesn't mean you're living above your means.

Your 3 months rent shouldn't be more than your 1 month salary. Let's do a little calculation:
270000÷12 = 22500
Then, 22500 * 3 = 67500
So you see it's very possible atleast with judicious spending. Make sure your wife has something doing too.
