We have the necessary laws already.
Our problems are not the law but ourselves, Nigerians are the most lawless people on earth.
Anambra people especially are worse off for lawlessness. The drivers in anambra drive against traffic, they are so lawless, that's why police and road safety in Onitsha stay put even when they are transferred.

Do you know how many times the process of obtaining drivers license have been reviewed? To get a drivers license one is supposed to go through state licensing office, certified driving school, VIO, FRSC, medical before you be issued with a drivers license.
But all you need do is to go to state licensing office or road safety and pay as bargained, they will do the rest for you, by bribing all the offices involved, then call you for capture, and later be invited to collect your license.

LLM Convener, Comrade Mark Adebayo specifically accused a national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as being the architect of the impeachment saga, and urged all Lagosians and genuine compatriots across the country to strongly resist the move by the Lagos lawmakers against the governor.

He said it was obvious that the whole saga was a direct assault by a few political marauders determined to supplant democracy and jeopardize peace and development in the State, and further perpetuate their political dynasty.

According to Adebayo, “It is public knowledge that some days ago, members of the House commenced what is tantamount to a game of shame and senselessness, the results of which are predictably destructive by the ill-advised commencement of impeachment process against Governor Ambode.

“The question that most Lagosians are asking is ‘why?’. However, the reasons are not farfetched: It is fundamentally the handiwork and retrogressive machinations of political forces of evil determined to keep Lagos State in perpetual bondage of a man playing God over more than 20 million Lagosians with a view to perpetuating a political dynasty of lootocratic recklessness, marauding corruption and a relay regime of nepotistic subjugation accentuated by an intractable malaise of primitive accumulation of the most deadly genre, spearheaded, commanded, guided and goaded by Asiwaju Tinubu we daresay.”

He said the coalition and indeed vast majority of Lagosians were convinced beyond reasonable doubts that the allegations against the governor by the lawmakers were unknown to the constitution, but a move basically propelled desperately by few persons to have unrestricted access to the state’s treasury to squander on their political protégés running for public offices in the forthcoming general elections.

While alleging that the current backlash against the governor was over his refusal to comply with directive by his political godfather to release several billions of naira for elections, Adebayo warned Ambode never to contemplate leaving the state littered with uncompleted projects, saying he still had enough time to complete most of them before the expiration of his tenure on May 29, 2019.

He also accused the lawmakers of having nothing to justify the huge sums collected from government for constituency projects, just as he revealed that a comprehensive petition had been put together to anti-graft agencies and multilateral organizations for the Assembly to account for the N800million being collected as monthly running costs, aside their weekly and monthly allowances.

He also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to prevail on Tinubu not to proceed with the impeachment plan as such would be self-destructive, saying it was important for the APC to sort out its internal conflicts without putting the whole state into crises.

“We like to reiterate that Ambode is the governor of Lagos State and not the governor of the APC. If they have internal issues within their Party that should not be allowed to negatively affect the smooth running of government and make people suffer. The whole state cannot be reduced to the parochial shenanigans of a highly corrupted political family.

“The office of governor of Lagos State is beyond Ambode and as such any further humiliation, disrespect and embarrassment from any quarter will be utterly resisted by the people. Lagosians are unequivocal in their view that Ambode is a performing governor based on his style of governance and project execution, and as such, any further attack on him will be tantamount to attacking the People. And no one can win against the people,” Adebayo said.

We allow ourselves to be deceived by politicians, we pretend we do not know what do because of the candidate we support.
Every campaign ground you see every where in Nigeria, of all the political parties are all filled with paid crowd. It starts from the candidate where the money comes from and is distributed along the party structures and leaders to mobilize crowd, they hire commuter buses to take paid crow from every constituency.
Appearance fee for each person is from N500, some of the people are paid directly by party local leaders who are either contesting for elective posts or appointments and or other pecuniary interests
Among every crowd at every campaign ground are people who attend multiple campaigns, many of those you see in APC , PDP, apga etc are same faces you will see in another party's ground.
We all know it yet we come online to brag.
The only difference is the fact that the crowd could be beefed up where you have many party leaders and members who have been in government, they have enough to pay for more.
Even party exco members at the grassroots are also paid. Imagine a man coming from Okoko to surulere to attend a political rally[/b].

A senior advocate of Nigeria, Olisa Agbakoba SAN, has written a petition against the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammed.

He made a revelation in the petition, saying that the new CJN should not be in office.

Muhammed was appointed after President Muhammadu Buhari suspended Walter Onnoghen from office.

In the petition sent to on Monday, Agbakoba said: “On 25th of January 2019 President Mohammadu Buhari pursuant to an exparte order of the Code of the Conduct Tribunalpurportedly suspended the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghnen and purportedly swore in Hon. Justice Tanko Mohammed as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria.

“The Constitution is clear about the procedure for suspending or removing the Chief Justice of Nigeria. The Chief Justice of Nigeria can only be removed on the recommendation of the NJC. SeeSection 153 (1), Paragraph 21 (a) of the 3rd Schedule and Section 292 (1) (a) (i) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999and the Supreme Court decisioninElelu-Habeeb v AGF (2012) 40 WRN 1.

“Hon. Justice Tanko Mohammed is fully aware of the state of law, yet presented himself to be sworn in by the President. Incidentally, Justice Tanko Mohammed was a member of the NJC panel that removed Justice Obisike Orji of the Abia state High Court for accepting to be sworn in as Chief Judge by the Governor of Abia state without the recommendation of the NJC.

“It is a matter of regret that Justice Tanko Mohammed who participated in this process will lend himself to this constitutional infraction. We pray the NJC to determine this petition in line with the decision in Justice Obisike Orji by immediately removing Justice Tanko Mohammed as Justice of the Supreme Court on grounds of gross misconduct which has generated perhaps the most controversial crisis in Nigeria’s judicial history.”
