A family that was returning home for their Christmas celebration had a fatal accident along Asaba Airport road and they all died in the unfortunate incident.

This fatal accident happened today along Adekunle Fajuyi street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, involving a family which embarked on an early morning journey in their Toyota Land Cruiser jeep. According to sources, the SUV vehicle veered off the road and rammed into a perimeter fence of an estate -destroying two electric pole in the process. Hopefully no one died in the crash....

A Cameroonian girl by name Kelly Kema allegedly stabbed her Cameroonian boyfriend identified as Natto Green -to death in Thailand over cheating/cell phone argument. Sources say she had an argument with him about cheating on her and took his cell phone -only for him to end up being stabbed in the heart in the process of trying to retrieve the phone from her. According to reports, the girl has been arrested and is currently being detained by Thai authorities.

Governor of Kaduna state -Malam Nasir el-Rufai is in Dogarawa, Zaria to commission a new ultramodern factory of SAJ Foods Limited, makers of SAN Yoghurt. The factory has the capacity of producing 108,000 litres of yoghurt and over 70,000 litres of juice per day.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike addressed thousands of supporters who thronged the Port Harcourt International Airport to receive him on Thursday, following his trip from Abuja. He described the nullification of his election as a temporary setback, saying that God's will and the mandate of the people will prevail at the end of the day. He urged the people to remain peaceful as the state remains PDP despite the contrived situation at present.

He assured the people that his lawyers have already started the process of Appeal to the Supreme Court, noting that after the Supreme Court, the PDP will work with whatever judgment emanates from the apex court.

A reckless tanker driver was halted earlier today at Ojuelegba area in Lagos for hit and run act and disgraced him on the highway... According to a twitter user who narrated what happened, the tanker driver was stopped by security and military personnel after his reckless act but he refused to stop and fled.. The security personnel gave the driver a hot chase and finally caught up with him at the bridge due to traffic. The driver locked himself in and refused to open the door. The tyres of the tanker were deflated and the plate number seized.

This is one of the reasons why president Muhammadu Buhari needs to soft pedal on his foreign trips because it seems like the trips are beginning to take a toll on his Aide-De-Camp (ADC). The ADC was spotted dozing off during the opening of the 40th ECOWAS anniversary summit held in Abuja earlier today. If the man who is supposed to be guiding our president -is relieving his mind and body with series of nap sessions, then Nigeria is in for a shocker....Seems like he was even sleeping while standing up during the anthem (as seen in picture 2).

The Enugu state police command through its operatives of the Anti Kidnap Unit, recently trailed and arrested three notorious suspected kidnappers at their various hideout in Lagos and 9thmile Enugu state.

It was gathered that the suspects identified as Ekene Nwankwo, Emeka Igwe, Chidi Agu had allegedly conspired together with one Ebuka to abduct their victim at gunpoint. The victim who is now deceased and identified as one Ekene Okonkwo -was returning from a traditional marriage in his vehicle when he was abducted and taken to a nearby bush by old Nsukka Abor Road 9thmile corner Enugu where the suspects allegedly tied his hands and legs with rope and demanded for the sum of ten million naira ransom from the victim's relations.

The suspects also denied him food and water for seven days after beating him while in captivity.It was further gathered that this however made him to be weak and as a result died inside the bush. Suspects who were with the victim on noticing that their victim has died,abandoned the corpse and fled to an unknown.

Operatives of the Anti Kidnapping Unit of the command in their investigations launched attack on suspects at their hideout in 9thmile and Lagos respectively which left suspects fatally injured during a shoot out that ensued.

Meanwhile, full scale investigations have been intensified into the incident just as the dead body of the victim has been recovered inside the bush by the operatives and deposited at the nearby hospital for necessary action.

A tanker conveying 32,000.00 litres of fuel lost control, rammed into pavement on bridge in kpakungu, Minna Niger State. The fuel spilled to various channels and canals within the community. The NEMA (MOO) team led by Assistant Coordinator Mr Abdulrazaq Musa and key stakeholders (NSEMA, Fire Service, FAAN, VIO, FRSC, NSCDC, Police Air Force - Quick response team, Red Cross, Commissioners (works & information), etc) were on ground to avert possible fire disaster.

Although no life was lost as the casualties were evacuated to hospital for treatment. And the tanker was removed from the scene to ease traffic jam..
