I was at the programme as a member of the church and I heard the pastor during one of his ministrations. He never claimed that he healed the woman but that he prayed for the woman over the phone and the woman was healed thereafter. The Pastor was trying to build up the faith of the congregation in God's power to perform miracles in our lives if we pray to Him. In fact in many of his messages, he tried to discourage the attitude of most Christians who go about with the "Pray for me" mentality. He encouraged his hearers to develop a personal relationship with God that will make them approach God directly in prayers rather than seeking for men of God to pray for them.

The point really is that when one complains here, many people including lagtech reduce everything to money issues. But no one thinks of the issue of INTEGRITY. Many on this thread knew when I was ordering those books. Some even wondered what they were meant for and I remember saying they were meant for my school library. They were never meant for sale. At the end of the day, I had six extra large boxes of books, trophies, 5 laptops and one electronic reader. These items were supposedly shipped first week of July to arrive in September. This was information given by lagtech. Based on this, I stood before my entire school congregation (Parents, Guests, Staff & Students) at the graduation ceremony mid July and declared that we will resume for the new session in September with a world class library. Now a whole term has ended with not a single book to show them. Some of them have begun to ask very embarrassing questions. At home, I know little or no peace from my wife who is firmly convinced that I have been scammed again after we lost some millions during the wonderbank era. The issue to her is not about the amount invested but that I have fallen into the same trap twice. It is only the arrival of these goods that can restore my reputation and dignity. Somebody suggested prayers. I have been praying and I know it is not God’s plan for me to lose my hard earned money. Although I know I am guilty of refusing my wife’s counsel at the beginning of everything.

In your last post, you railed at me for casting a doubt on your integrity persistently. That is far from th r=truth. You said I never emailed you before my post. That is not true. You said I owe you. That is TRUE but you failed to state when I incurred the supposed debt. Was it on items you already claimed to have shipped or the items which you still have in your custody over there? I paid for every item you shipped. I paid in full for petrol, commission and shipping as well. You promised to deliver in September. After you claimed to have shipped, I saw a few items which I wanted. I asked you if you could help me pick them while I arrange the funds and you agreed. I had an issue with a dud cheque and I promptly informed you. The holiday and ebola crisis which prolonged the holidays interfered with my financial plans. At every turn, I emailed to update you. When school resumed and funds were available, I emailed you to ask you to bring me up to date on my outstanding bill. You did not give me any specific answer. But now with the benefit of hindsight, I thank God that you did not give me the figure then because I probably would have added to my woes. Someone said and I believe that if you find yourself in a hole the best way to get out is to stop digging. For me, I am not willing to commit any extra kobo to this venture until I have something to show for my investment so far. If I do not see any of the items I’ve fully paid for, it will be foolish for me to continue to pour more money into it. After all if these items fail to arrive, I am the one who loses everything. Since you believe that the best way to resolve this issue is for us all to bury our heads in the sand like an ostrich so that business can continue for you, no problem. I will stop posting.
For those who will comment on my post know that I have been sending payments to Lagtech since May 2014 and till date I have not received a single pin. Those who have collected some items at least have something to comfort them. So think about this before you post. And no one should spew the rubbish about this being usual thing with importation. Like I told Lagtech himself, I’ve been into importation since 2007. I have bought from eBay as well as Amazon. I was a reguklar visitor to NIPOST Shomolu in 2007. I have ordered items through Circuitatlantic, OandO gadgets and Specuit. In none of these did my items last more than 4 weeks before I took delivery. One thing you can say is that I am not a business man. Yes. I am not. I am a teacher, an educationist. The only reason I got interested in Lagtech’s thread was because of CRAIGSLIST which I saw as an opportunity to buy very good and precious books for my school. The few laptops I picked along the line were just to me supposed to be an icing on the cake.
Whichever way this ends I know it is well with my soul.

My second daughter and her husband and daughter just arrived from Lagos to celebrate Xmas with my wife and I. As soon as she saw my mini on the table she asked' "Dad, when did those stuff of yours arrive"? Come and see the kind of laughter my wife lughed.. "I'm still on it o' I responded. Her final shot was, "Are you sure you have not entered one chance? Can someone advice me what to tell her and her mum?

I am beginning to have serious doubts that Lagtech did any SEA SHIPPING. If he did he would by now have declared the identity of the GREEN HORN SHIPPER., his Nigerian agent, address and phone number. All these next week that never ends. To me we have all been taken for a ride. Lagtech your response to my earlier post was that you have not even begin not to talk of ending. Well I am waiting for you to begin o. Below is the content of my last mail to LAGTECH which he refused to aclnowledg(I am not the least happy sending you this mail. What is happening now is not the picture you painted that made me pour hundreds of thousands to your account for procurement of my items. You were so full of confidence and warmth. You spoke of your experience at shipping and the like. Lagtech what is happening?. For six months you claimed to have sea shipped items from the Us to Nigeria and i cannot lay hands on them. This is most unfair. Who is this green horn shipper? Does he not have a name?  Does he not have a Nigerian office address? Why are you shielding him? I really am trully disappointed and devastated by this betrayal of trust.)

I called Jimmy to check with their shippers and he said he'd get back to me so before weekend ANY items that are really with shippers and were held due to customs issues should be cleared and picked up....#myown10kobo to just help calm people and keept the thread alive

The real issue is the sea shipping. Lagtecj claimed he used a novice, aka green horn , to ship people's items since first week in July. Six months after items are yet to be delivered and no further explanations from him. When people complain those not concerned blame the complainant and accuse him of trying to pull down Lagtech's business. All I know is that no man can pull down a business that is delivering on its promises but no angel can save a business that fails to deliver on its promises but rather leaves its patrons frustrated, angry and dissatisfied..

Attack on the prison actually began at abt 10pm. There were sounds of heavy guns and occasional booming sounds probably grenades. The sounds reverbrated all over the state capital and lasted for abt one hour. Sir aside from your items-we have items for 5 people and 40 laptops of our own. I am on this case everyday. Minnesota has no sea port. Items shipped by sea-go to New Jersey or New York. I have shipped cars in the past that got cleared in 10 weeks after shipping. For shipping in July and September-we used another shipper -I have no doubt about his realibility-it just seems now-that he didnt do things right. None of our items are lost and everything is being sorted out. Based on the timeline of items leaving in July -items should have landed September -worst case scenario-October. My apologies.
We shipped again by sea last week and I used the shipper that has always shipped our cars last year.
We have over a million naira of our own laptops-and we are not just sitting down-we are working on it.

Now the truth has finally come out.You changed shippers. Why? You left an old reliable shipper for a new untested one. Why change a winning team? Let the shipper tell you what exactly the problem is. Tell us here. Some of us might be able to help.

I am still in a state of shock after I received Lagtech's last mail where he said I could get my items - 6boxes of books and 5 laptops in a matter of days or WEEKS! I really do not understand. Lagtech had always said sea shipping will be 9 - 12 weeks. 16 weeks is gone now (My items shipped furst week of July) I am totally confused as I still have some books with him which I almost sent another shipping funds for last week but something cautioned me to hold on. Is it not said thay if you find yourself in a hole then the best way to get out of it is to stop digging? I write this not to cast aspersion on Lagtech's integrity but I think some percentage of untruthfulness has entered this business. And the difference between 99% truth and 100% lie is same as exists between six and half a dozen.
