Well done sally,
@Godatwork23 , @TheAfrikan, @questionner . Please share with us what docs u submitted , at least what u did differently that has moved your application a step forward or approval. Apart from the fact that it was online. For instance, notarized document, first or second application etc. |

Congratulations as we tap into it. Godatwork23: Approval Alert Submitted app 30th December Medical Request 23rd February Medical passed 11th March PPR and Correspondence letter 19 March
Sent them a CSE yesterday and early this morning i got the mail. See, there was a moniker here that said it's luck and there's no God after getting his PPR. I don't know where he is now but I want him to know it's not luck. There's an Almighty God, a living God. He answers prayers. Thank you so much Frankrobben, God go do your own. And to all TRV hopefuls, God will answer everyone. There's something I used to do since I got my scholarship, any aeroplane I see, i always decree and declare that I will be in such a plane a month to my resumption . That was my method of faith for over a year now. Glory to God Almighty once more. |

Thanks for the sharp response. I judged the process by the online portal. Hopes are still high but you what they say about speaking up with concerns. dedecoder: Just wondering how you got to know they are on background check. In most cases when it seems nothing is happening on your online portal, a lot could have been done to your file of which you may not be aware.
I don't think the account is updated in real-time. That is why eligibility for some applicants can start today and final decision be rendered tomorrow or a few hours after that.
In any case, I think a break or something is currently going on @CIC. Or perhaps, they are just taking things in their strides. Keep hope alive. There may even be an update today or next week. It's well. |

Thanks bro.... Another one, I submitted land purchase agreements from years ago and just wondering how they might wanna verify that? Was a supporting document anyways. Appreciate JustMellow: You would want to know that Bank Statements are mostly verified from the head office/quarters except that's were your account officer is been stationed.
Certainly not sure if one can ascertain correctly on the given period for bank verification but you should also want to know that verification of almost all submitted documents comes under background check.
Finally, just keep your account active and not dormant after submission |

Frankrobbn1: Prospective applicants misunderstand the question TOTAL FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY STAY stipulated on the IMM1294E form. It's very unrealistic and irrational to use the closing balance of your guarantor as funds availablity because no sponsor would give out all the funds available in his/her account for your study, owning to the fact that there are dependents, business, and personal welfare to cater for. To provide clarity to this question, the immigration officer is asking after the funds available for your first year of study. Hence, the amount of funds that your guarantor is willing and eager to give you per each academic year and the total funds in your possession/account (if any) makes up TOTAL FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY STAY. Sometimes this consistitute among the reason why so many applicants are being refused on the ground of insufficient funds, because they fail to give a good financial breakdown of their expenses on the SOP/LOE.
Cc: Raymondrain, Assuming your sponsor is willing to give you 25,000$CAD per each academic year and have some left in his/her account and you also have an additional 1KCAD in your personal savings account. The total funds available for your stay = 25K$CAD+1K$CAD =26K$CAD well said, very well said. |

jandj: Do you have any school in mind? How many years of study is it? You can contact the school directly. They will advise you if you will need a study permit. I haven't seen anyone on dis thread going to a flight school.
U can also contact gurus like galala13 And frankrobbn for more info. They have been on this thread for long enough. sure I have schools I've had correspondence with. Blue bird academy, Langley flight training and many more. On the average it takes a year and could be less depending on my own seriousness , yes I do need a study permit. I guess I will be the first person posting about flight schools although I'm sure we have silent readers. |

Hello, I'm seriously looking for people applying to flight schools. I can seem to find any Nigerian who went to, is at or planning to go to canada for studies. Just wondering if there is a problem with Nigerian studying in Canada or since its considered a vocational training visas is an issue. IELTS is not a requirement for admission but is it necessary for the student visa and since a degree is not a requirement will I need a transcript. Adding my degree to the application is to account for those years. Any info will be appreciated as canada visa application seems like a lot of work and time. Thanks |

Hello,
I hope this is not considered a duplicate topic as I've searched and read student visa topics for Canada and USA but could not find information for flight school admission and visa application . The information is helpful but I think we need to connect here as the order is filled with Uni stuffs and flight school is a little bit different. So please aviators let's met here and help ourselves.
Let me shoot with my concerns. Firstly we need to hear from people who have gone for interviews and the challenges faced especially for Canada , recommend flight schools from your experience , dos and don't. I would love to meet someone with first hand experience with Canada flight schools because even agent ain't got nothing to say. Thanks guys |

The end goal is to fly. I want to know what kind of questions that will be ask. For instance, how many schools did you apply to and how many offered admission? This question might not be relevant because you get admitted for sure once you have the funds for training. So no point applying to many schools, just pick the best and apply. What is the approval rate and likely interviews mistake for flight skl m1 visa . fairheart: Ask your questions and let those with informed mind help you out. What exactly do you want to know? Admission is simple, if you know the rule. Getting visa for such program is not an exception; in fact, you have a chance because we all know we lack the techniques to train pilots (I assume this is the end goal) in Nigeria. |
