News has it that Fayose and his deputy insist they are still in the helms of affairs in the state. Perhaps Fayose has not actually absconded, but is merely trying to validate a yoruba proverb that says " the ram that walks backwards is merely recharging". Do you think of anarchy in the state?

Please remember also that our democracy is barely 8 years old. We can not be as perfect as some countries with more than a 100 years democratic governance. Breaches in constitution like our case can not but occur in a young democracy. We are still learning. But in anyway, corruption must be wiped out.

He was removed unconstitutionally. Agreed. But are not all these laws made to ensure fairness and justice to all? If he is not removed that way, who knows what he has been planning. It came unaware to him and that is good because he may escape if left for a little bit longer.

TayoD, I think the right thing was done in removing Fayose from office. The constitution states that in a situation where the governor and his deputy are found wanting, then the speaker of the house must take the position of the governor. So what is not right in that? Remember it is no business of EFCC whether the governor is gmpeached or not. It's own job is to reveal corrupt chaps and get them prosecuted and it is doing just that.
