it helps you cultivate a good maintainance culture.in Nig esp we base our judgment most times on what people say rather than doing our findings and making a conclusion.i was advised not to get a honda by a mech on nairaland,I went ahead and it is the best decision I made.i never touch engine or gear for 3 years plus and am on my 3rd honda car.i will sell and get anoda honda before year end.its a good car, dont let anyone tell you otherwise.toyota is good too.but I prefer honda

Personally, I like the smart look of Civic.
I may consider a Nigerian used 05 Civic when I'm ready.

Guru in the house.....i have this question. What is wrong in buying Honda car as your first low budget car.

Everyone advise me against buying a Honda Car. Only reason given is leg pulling and low resale value.

Please advise me....Honda cars seem to be the only car i can afford that worth the value.

Suggestions on car or model will be appreciated.

The only reason a friend (who's using Honda Pilot) gave me is that Honda cars don't tolerate abuses as much as Toyotas do. According to him, once you notice any fault in Honda, your best and only option is to get it fixed that moment unlike Toyota that could still run *till month end*
I don't know what that means anyway!

kingreign:
It's a good car. You're good to go. Ensure it's not abused.

This is where the wahala dey!
Even mechanics may not be able to tell if a car is a lemon

mrbee1948:
I once bought a naija used 03 Nissan Murano. The car was super clean & could pass for a toks. That car almost sent me parking to the village. Not to talk of entering limp mode when in traffic. Consulted different electricians. Changed camshaft, crankshaft sensor, ecu, throttle position sensor, Las Las the CVT transmission blew up.
I later sold it for 270k to someone who installed a Toyota gearbox in it.

I was relieved.

Nissan made more money selling the engine and gearbox of Murano than they made selling the car

kingreign:
Take number 2

Number 1 is too common and boring and high chance if being vandalized.

3 is higher than your budget.

What do you think about Nigerian Used Civic 2004-06 as very first car?
Cost of maintenance, availability and cost of parts, reliability (akpọ aza). To be used majorly for city commute in SouthWest State capital (not Lagos) all these in comparison with corolla of same year

uche393:
I studied marketing, is it possible to do msc in Information technology after pgd in marketing?

Very unrelated fields....

ovi4real:
Hello,

I Read B.sc in zoology as my first degree, and I want to enroll for a Masters in Information Technology at the Noun University.
My question is will I be accepted to do a masters degree or will be told to do Post graduate diploma (since IT is not my first discipline). but kindly note I have 5 credits for O' level and also have a second class Lower.
This is giving me concern to know the next step I should take.
Thanks in advance.

Zoology is Biological Sciences so you won't be able to proceed to masters unless ụ do PGD first. A colleague that studied Microbiology had to settle with pgd first

Olobojay:
Please I need your urgent opinion on this Honda civic as regards fuel efficiency and maintenance

Patiently waiting for someone to say something about this too

IneedSugarMumy1:
Yes

Or you look for driver yourself

Can I just hand a car to Bolt/Uber while I chill in my house without all the hassle with drivers?

Trilionaire:
Hey guys how relevant is a degree from NOUN in the labor market? Also do noun graduates go for nysc?

Please I need answers to these questions, thanks.

NOUN graduates don't go for NYSC but they are issued with NYSC exemption certificate which comes out almost immediately your name comes out in the graduation list

debbycreamy:
Hello nairalanders,

I won't say it's my friend sister or whatever,it's me. It's my question

For 5years of marriage, it's been conflicting about this church matter.

Where in the Bible did they say it's compulsory for the wife to go to the husband's church? I attended dominion city, and he attends redeem (RCCG), I tried for the first two years to follow him to redeem, but I couldn't feel it, every Sunday it's like going and coming from a wedding not a church, that feeling of feeling the Holy Spirit and being blessed is not there, I don't know who understands this feeling.

I talked to him in d third year he allowed me go back to my dominion city, and in d fourth year he stopped me again, I'm a worker there o, now till the fifth year I'm still forced to attend redeem, I have tried my best to open my heart to the church but no way...

Their ways just tire me at redeem, I miss the love, togetherness, prayers, worship and preaching at dominion city. Please I'm sorry I mentioned the name of churches i know some people love redeem, so I'm sorry.

Now for a month now, I have not gone to any church, and I'm tired of the whole thing, please matured advice needed.

Thanks

What do young ppl really do during courtship?
I believe that a proper courtship would have taken care of these issues but unfortunately, we are more interested in the suya and yoghourt we drink during during courtship won't allow us discuss things as basic as our faith

Actually I intended to study medical course but due to the Nigeria factor, the admission isn't forthcoming.
I now intend to apply to apply to noun to study mathematics and computer science and further later as their admission is easier.

Pls how efficient is the national open University when it's comes to academics and studying?
What's other advice can you give me

If ụ want to succeed and make a career off computer science, ụ have to do stuff outside the school curriculum. Find out what's trending in the IT world, form an area of interest and pursue that beyond whatever is in ur study materials

rationalist007:
Can project be registered and done before the designated semester for it in masters program

You must have passed Research Methods first

och12:
I don't use the 2007/ 2008 models of Honda Civic, but from an extensive research on them, they come off as very reliable and cheap maintenance cars.

So, which would you advise bw Naija used civic and peugeot 307 Of say 2005

Praxtech:
It is actually a very austere vehicle. Great fuel economy however w202 C180, Peugeot 206, Peugeot 307 beats or equals the fuel economy.
Make I burst your brain.... W202 C180 starts at 950k -1.3M for super duper clean one.
Peugeot 206 1.1M max
Peugeot 307 1.2M max
Now listen thieves run away from these three cars... They don't steal or vandalise them

What does one expect from a Nigerian used Peugeot 206?
Is it a great buy?
Mechanics
Parts
Auto Gear
Cost of running
All the above put into consideration?

deyeancah:
EDU 821 gave AOC in his last online class. BUT EDU823 went online to go search for videos to come play back for us in her online class and her last online class didnt hear anything like AOC

Then this semester is better than the previous

deyeancah:
Who has AOC on EDU823.

That course and 821 are dreadful. Unfortunately, there's no AOC in NOUN.
The entire course material must be carefully studied

Have u been able to resolve this? I av someone having same experience

What response is the person getting?

Elixirsblog:
It says my request is received and is been processed but they didn't send any profile code

That could be network provider's issue. I will suggest ụ try another number. If possible, get an Etisalat SIM

Don't know why ụ left it till this 11th hour

Elixirsblog:
