Let dem go to national human right commission, meet Falana. They must not start weeping. God has destined to use them to bring out govt manhandling of civil servants |
It's very annoying how education has nose-dived in Ogun since dis man came with his policies. 1st term exams are written by 4th week or so in 3rd term. Dis 3rd term is d longest term av seen in my life-15wks. Jsce was almost forgotten till parents started crying foul. It's simply annoying how d govt has managed education |
BTW wat am I seeing in d odometer? |
sdindan:U disappoint me bro.u dnt call who u don't know names. Go through dis thread n read my contributions so far. Political Association is a thin of choice. I never believed in GEJ cos he either did or didn't do some things I expected. Neither dd I vote PMB cos I considered him out of touch.but I voted someone I think has like mind. Prof. Sonaya of KOWA party was my candidate. My take is dat elections are over. It's time to face governance. PMB remains our Presdo till 2019. Then we can start talking. But learn to talk with caution before.... |
1st class u said? Ar u kidding me? U dnt av business looking for job.ur job is in higher institution. Go back n get an M.Sc with d advent of private unis u are guaranteed. Or do u xpect some bosses with 3rd class to employ u n u will unseat dem...? |
We av bn so divided by our fore-fathers before woes of war and lack of studies in Nigerian history dd d worst. Nigerian education system refused to tell us our story, so our parents dd. As long as am concerned, we need to 'go back before we move forward'. Memories of Nigerian civil war need to b wiped. NYSC,Unity schools, federal universities and such other plastic measures av failed. It's time to open d wound cos its decaying in d bandage.open d wound, let it pain us and smell once n heal. |
pedel:U forgot to add dat he planted dry flowers along ikire expressway.soo myopic in thinking |
Will Pedro still b sold? |
Susan, lets take it dat part of d hatred is becos Jonathan is wrongly taken as igbo by other tribes.for a typical yoruba, once u are not hausa nor yoruba then u must n omo igbo. Also,d actions of some men during d election- Oba Akiolu, Dr Ariyo shows it was us other tribes against igbos.but it still bafles me how Jonathan got block votes in all s west states except osun |
We don teach on Nairaland |
AuntySusan:An average igbo man isn't interested in politics. In hausa land u av amiriya n other hausa news media, in Yoruba u av alaroye but no such thing exist in SE. So wen ppl say d igbos dey actually mean d political class. Cos my brothers dnt beliv in govt. |
NAIJASOM:Bros how dd GEJ treat igbos as brothers? Is it by building d Enugu-Porthacourt expressway? Or d political 2nd Niger bridge? Or is it d various erosion sites adoning Anambra n Abia? What exactly are we talking about? How dd his administration better d life of d igbos? Wat was d state of Aba, Onitsha etc. To what extent is d port in Onitsha working? How many ship get dere instead of Lagos. |
We need just one man dat will av d courage to change some rubbish. I think we av got one man with dat courage |
kernel501:My broad, am not saying any1 shld join any party. APC as it is has no structure. D real APC will manifest after d administration of Pres. Buhari. Stay where u are, build a structure n wait for dem. President Buhari is our president at least for d next 3+yrs. We can't do anything about day. For me both PDP n APC are like ashewo wey change address |
Am proudly igbo. Lolz.. U dnt expect all d tribal divides to belong to one political party. I leave n work in Abeokuta n I know so many Yoruba men n women who belong to APGA,PDP,LP etc. Come to think of it, PDP is not an igbo party.I never voted for Jonathan nor PMB. I still believe in prof. Sonaya of Kowa.for me moving on means forgetting d past, moving with life n associating across party divides uote author=AuntySusan post=36836351] Do I take it to mean you're Igbo? What do you mean Igbos should move on? Are u suggesting for them to join APC too or stay in opposition. In other words; is joining APC the problem you have with Igbos?[/quote] |
Igbos should move on. Jonathan is an Ijaw not igbo n his kits and kin has moved on with some of them moving to APC including Jonathan's close aids. My fellow igbos, we can't cry louder than d bereaved |
Congrats |

Tragedy upon tragedy |
Student embezzles niece’s school fee, slits her throat 2 hours ago An undergraduate of a college of education in Oyo State, Olajide Ajayi, has been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command for attempting to kill his niece, who is also his school mate, by cutting her throat. The suspect was accused of slitting the throat of Opeyemi Ajala, over payment of N47,000 school fee. The victim was said to have given her Automated Teller Machine card to the suspect to collect N47,000 and help her pay the sum to her school account as school fee. It was alleged that Ajayi used the money to buy clothes for himself and spend the rest on other things. After failing to give a teller to his niece on demand, the suspect began to avoid his niece but when he could no longer bear the pressure on him to produce the money or the teller, he decided to kill her to mask his track. To actualise his plan, he allegedly went to his victim’s house with a knife and tip-toed into her room. After overpowering her, he was said to have slit the throat but unknown to him, Ajala did not die. The suspect said, “I collected the money, but I spent it. When the pressure from her was too much, and there was no way I could get the money to pay her back, I decided to kill her. One night, I went to her house with a sharp knife to kill her. “I got to her house at about 8pm; when I entered the room, I locked the door and pinned her head down on the bed. I did not allow her to shout. Then, I brought out the knife and slit her throat. When blood started gushing out and she was unconscious, I thought she was dead and I escaped.” The state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Katsina, said the lady survived the attack miraculously, adding that she had been taken to the University College of Hospital, Ibadan, for treatment. The police commissioner stated, “The lady managed to pick her mobile telephone a few minutes after the attack and called one of her neighbours, who informed the police. “The suspect will be charged to court soon.” |
