This is insane. If proven that they were indeed complicit in the Israeli attack, that would be a very bad precedence. Methinks that their culpability should have been first established before termination of contracts. Something like suspension while investigations are ongoing seems more appropriate. Aid Agencies should be upfront in due diligence about their staff to avoid loss of patronage. |
The middle name for Portable is CONTROVERSY. There have never been any artiste in Nigeria that courted trouble the way Portable does. He seems good that way and a trouble-free Portable didn't look a good or attractive prospect!! ![]() |
shoskid:Please don't get into my mentions if you can't comment without throwing insults!!! I have said nothing against anybody, nobody whatsoever. Just expressed my opinion. Express yours, sir. I am a RH. A little respect please. |
Jonjam269: Obi did. Check the records. That's what we need today, to tighten up the Financial loopholes and create prosperity. |
Obi is just too vibrant. Doesn't Nigeria need someone who acts peremptorily, who takes action promptly? Maybe there could be change to the Nigerian story? Maybe - just maybe - things could change a little for the better. But I fear that Nigerians so much love their poverty and hardship. We are not yet ready for change! That's the sad truth. |
iLoveAnambra:That's his first son by Margaret Udeh later married to Chief Michael Ogbogu. Chief Sylvester Debe Odumegwu-Ojukwu was an ex-Police snr officer and an international lawyer. He was born on August 3rd, 1956. So, Ojukwu was 23 years older. Ojukwu was a known philanderer. That should not come to you as a surprise. I was very close to Chief Debe in his lifetime. He was one of my mentors! |
FreeStuffsNG:You would understand Reno's assertion if you go to other countries and try their networks. You could literally speak for hours on the phone in some countries with little or nothing as charge. Try it in Nigeria. |
CameroonPepper:chei. You make me poke. I dislike public earry with passion. If I can't get a snack, so be it. I can remain hungry. |
Jennyclay: Let the poor breathe biko |
IgboSomalia:Too bad. They are not helping the issue at all. And one hear of repentant Boko Haram members who are officially pardoned and absorbed into security outfits where they trade sensitive information with their alter egos in the forest leading to endless carnage of the finest officers. ![]() |
ogbonti:I am with you on this. Public execution is right. If I were in a position of authority as gov I would sign their execution warrant same day I verified their case and complicity. |
Jennyclay:They tend to take the side of the culprit and treat them like victims. It's gross, same with Amnesty International. Capital offences deserve capital punishment epically where it is proven that the offence was not committed in error. That it was premeditated. |
Good. These thieves in public service supposed to be unmasked for what they are - thieves of public fund. I hope EFCC has enough evidence to nail him and not drama?? ![]() |
Please, let's not have scared cows. Let all linked to terrorism and kidnapping be dealt with severely. Death by hanging or other forms of public execution is not bad. The pain of victims is hard to bear! |
IfnobeGod20:Well your response shows u still have faith in the judiciary to do the right thing. What if they choose to call a spade a rake? As in returning them to their seats with legal technicalities? I share in your enthusiasm though. |
IfnobeGod20:Sim knows the heavy odds, that's why he played cool. In today's judiciary system with respect to precedence on electoral matters, all are no longer clear. Fmr HoR Speaker, Tambuwal defected without losing his seat despite no schism in his parent party. |
BondRiv:Yes, u are correct. It's case closed for them, No remedy. |
chokekachy:These idiotic lawbreakers should appeal to supreme court and await their verdict. There is nothing like vicarious ruling in court processes or vicarious judgment. |
Marvieduke:Could be ritual, biko! |
DMerciful:That's why I said he picked on Wike too early. That's the law of state capture and resources appropriation. After Wike foisted off Sim on Rivers people, the majority of the people see this issue like a family affair, e-no-concern-us outlook. Whereas it's Rivers State affair through and through. |
DMerciful:You said so by yourself. I didn't. Read me well. Sim came through a flawed process. If he were nominated and elected through a competitive process without cutting comers, all these would not apply. To pretend the system was perfect ab initio and expect the perfect is but self deception. |
Femi Adeshina, this is the chronicles of a failed administration. What do u expect us to do with all these now? Buhari dug the grave and BAT is trying to do the final post mortem. |
When I said that Sim picked on Wike too early people here were attacking me. Sim needs to lean the ropes on his new position. He needed like 2 years to be on ground. Now, he is rudderless and at the mercy of ruthless Wike. |
Great. Couple still active in nbed! |
Beverlyjean:You could be right! It's either way. |
Jennyclay:Take it easy. Sorry, you have been with the wrong people twice back-to-back. It's understandable that you feel resentful towards men. But not all men are the same. There are still men who are real men. They treat women with courtesy and decorum. The awful truth, however, is that some of these men get dumped and mistreated in return. Trust God, the right man for you will show up with time!!! |
I was around that area recently. The stadium is undergoing a serious facelift. We commend the government for this positive impact. |
Kenochi:You are right. There's need for recreation of the laudable exploits of Nigeria in the W.Africa subregion. In LIberia, all field Commanders with the exception of Gen Quainoo of Ghana were Nigerians. We had Gen. Joshua Nimyel Dogonyaro, Gen. Adetunji Idowu Olurin, Gen. John mark Inienger, Gen. Timothy Shelpidi, etc etc. Maybe if South Africans were conversant with the role of Nigeria in the dismantling of apartheid, the financial and moral support, xenophobic attacks on Nigerians would no longer obtain. There was the case of Jonas Malheiro Savimbi of UNITA and then Angolan president Eduardo Dos Santos resolved by then president O. Obasanjo. They are uncountable. |
It's well, Governor Aiyedatiwa. Rule with fear of God. No one knows tomorrow. God is the ultimate king and author and finisher in the universe we find ourselves. May He guide you. Amotekun should be strengthened to fish out all the miscreants in Western Nigeria. |
Botragelad:In My Opinion, they got off with a very light sentence. Who is playing the racism card is talking trash. They are paid to look after an elderly person with special needs. They are supposed to be gentler and more understanding as - repeat - CARE GIVERS. |
Beuberry:That's against the order of nature na. Take it easy with him. He's only obeying the golden rule: Go into the world, Increase & multiply ![]() |
