Foreign AffairsRe: Iran Arrests Person Who Filmed Bombshell Footage Of Jet Downing by Yankiss(m): 12:14pm On Jan 16, 2020
Illegal reporting indeed. You committed such enormity of crime against your people and humanity under the guise of MISTAKE instead of pulling in the perpetrators, all we hear is clampdown on those that recorded it. There is God o, Iran authorities take note. Ayatollah and Housani ought to have resigned.

Please dear nairalanders I need your dearly advice

Am a student from a university here in Nigeria, it happens that I got 3.39 as my first gp which makes me unhappy but I didn't allow it to depress me... So the following semester I got 4.75 and now out of 8 semesters in total.. Am done with 4 now and my cgp totals 4.26 ... I have four semesters left.. Can I make it to 4.5? And what gp do I need to keep for each semester left to achieve that.... Thank you

Note: Don't talk about how grade doesn't matter in my life, am quite aware too as am not even planning to work with the degree
Good.
The outstanding credits if u make A in all will give you: (21 x5) + (16x5) + (14x5) + (12x5) = 315
Earlier four semesters will give : (4.26 x (18+16+27+26)) = 370.62
CPGA After passing all = (315+370.62)/(18+16+27+26+21+16+14+12) = 4.5708.

Yes, you can make a First Class. If u can send all the course units, eg. GST 317 3 units, etc, I will give u a breakdown of the most important ones and what exactly to score. You may not need an A in all, only the ones with high units. But aim for A in all, u can make it dear. Nothing do u!!!

WeRblessed:
First class does not guarantee you a successful future. However, first class is good in a way of making you feel proud of yourself, that you answered all the question in your exam right. Pay attention in learning skills so that you will not go hungry in the future.

Why I'm I saying this? I have three cousins who graduated with first class ( private universities in Nigeria) that I am still feeding. They are now in their thirties ( way older than me), but they can't secure a job. It's been five years now and counting.

They have started learning skills with the hope of opening their own companies after they finished learning. One is learning furniture making, the other one is learning fashion and designs, and the youngest is learning how to sale building materials.

First class is good, but think fast because time waits for no one.
Good.

I don't know if people still bother about Red Devils and Wolves while the country is hot politically. I bet on Red Devils to smack Wolves. Raise your hand here if you concur.
PoliticsRe: Seyi Makinde Visits Obasanjo, Says AGF Lacks Power To Declare Amotekun Illegal by Yankiss(m): 7:47pm On Jan 15, 2020
If Amotekun is illegal, what about Hisbah police? These ones have been operating in the North since they declared sharia. My fear about Amotekun is abuse by politicians and possibly going out of control to constitute a regional menace like Boko haram. Methinks that state police would have been more appropriate and accountable.

PoliticsRe: Public Finance Bill: 10 Things You Should Know About It by Yankiss(m): 12:03pm On Jan 14, 2020
"10. Stamp duty on bank transfers will apply to amounts of N10,000 and above. Transfers between the same owner's accounts in the same bank will be exempted. Electronic bank transfers included"
Who is sponsoring these bills should be stoned. They are tightening the noose on the common man. After all these realized are systematically looted by mindless poly-thieves. I do not support these regulations at all. Taxes should be imposed on high transactions among the elite. Anything that makes things more difficult for a 30k wager is not acceptable.

CultureRe: Oba Of Ewuare Of Benin Visits Edo Indigenes In Rivers State by Yankiss(m):
Fasindo:
shocked

.

Awao!!
This Oba Ewuare ll has truly desecrated the great Benin Kingdom.
He is just gallivanting from one place to other. Oba that is not supposed to leave d palace
The other day he attended Pastor Felix Omobude church instead of attending Holy Church of Arusa at Akpakpava which was his fore-fathers church and Benin traditional church.
He even went to Abuja last year.
I hope he will not travel outside Nigeria before this year end.

His father Oba Erediuwa will be weeping at where he is cos of what this Oba is doing.

I even heard that he change the ancient custom of Oba not seeing the apparent hair to the throne, he now sees his Edaiken of Uselu.

It's high time all the Enogies nd Chiefs in Benin call him to order

Oba ghato o kpe!!
Culture is dynamic. The Oba could not see his hair apparent because of what transpired in the past, when a heir apparent attempted on the life of his father, the Oba. If such threat isn't envisaged, I wonder why that cultural aspect should continue. My opinion.
Picture below: The late Oba of Benin, Akenzua II with his wife and the then crown prince, Solomon Igbinoghodua Aiseokuoba Akenzua later ( Erediauwa II) in Cambridge in 1950. So it seemed the culture of heir apparent not seeing the Oba was discarded long ago before Oba Ewuare II came on the throne

PoliticsRe: Sarah Alade Sues Alfred Olufemi And Gidado Yushau, Demands N500 Million by Yankiss(m): 8:08am On Jan 14, 2020
Intolerance and high-handedness has become the norm in today's polity. Journalists are becoming endangered, at the receiving end of political intimidation. The journalists should go ahead and produce evidence to buttress their story, that is, if the judiciary will give them level playing ground. Sometimes, a press conference to address allegations of this kind openly is better than judicial intimidation. The employers may not be aware of what happens in their premises and grow defensive when matters get out.

EducationRe: Bello Magaji: Nigerian Billions Diverted To Fund Private Universities In Uganda by Yankiss(m): 7:40am On Jan 13, 2020
Can you imagine? Corruption in every tier of National spending. I believe that these Private universities who are benefitting might have some liaison with corrupt Nigerian officials. They can't be eating the yams alone. EFCC should investigate this please!!
PoliticsRe: Mohammed Tahir-Monguno: Why I Sponsored 27 Bills In 7 Months by Yankiss(m): 6:49am On Jan 13, 2020
Oga, you try. But how effective are these bills in ending the poverty in the land? The most effective bills are the ones nobody in the National Assembly will think of. It is cutting down drastically on the expenditure of the two houses. That's the drain pipe killing Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Senator Adeyeye: Buhari Has No Choice But To Leave In 2023 by Yankiss(m): 8:06pm On Jan 12, 2020
Buhari has no choice but we have to be alert. OBJ had no choice back then but wasted tax payers money to the tune of billions of dollars. If not for an alert VP, Atiku, he could have had his way. Today, Buhari has foot-soldiers that are fanatical about him, forget his nonperformance. With a rubber stamp VP, National assembly and CJN and a powerful presidency cabal and dependent Service chiefs to boot, we have to be careful and alert. I have said my own.
TravelRe: Nigerian Asylum Seeker ‘Spent 21 Years Sleeping On London Buses’ by Yankiss(m): 5:00pm On Jan 12, 2020
This is difficult to understand. Wasting all of 21 years jumping away one's destiny. Am I the only one who thinks the refugee aspect of running from an iron-cast dictatorship was cooked up by guyman? Raise your hand if u thought so too. Nigerians cant cease to amaze me. For God's sake people still make it in Nigeria!!

Because of hatred and bigotry, u call a university professor also an engineer an almajiri!!!!.
SMH.
There's nothing like hatred n bigotry in my post. Mine was a hilarious observation even if misconstrued. I am not against him or a particular tribe. The dressing there was subpar. I like Aminu Waziri Tambuwal's dressing, and El Rufai's. That's distinct from their policy or education. If Zulum appears in a better outfit I will hail him. I do not like Gov Obiano's dressing. He might be anything else to others. Thank you.
