Oshiomhole don cast. It's a sin to aspire to be president in Nigeria when you have baggage. Ask Orji Uzor kalu. Osho baba will face the guillotine in the coming months. ![]() |
Arrant nonsense. He deserves to continue answering Maj. Gen. Mohammadu Buhari ( retd.) Also being shown in military fatigue. Nigerians should learn a lesson. No retired officer of the Nigerian Military or Paramilitary should ever head a democratic government. They are misfits. Once a soldier always a soldier. The disdain they acquire for civilians and civil processes never leave them, ever! |
And so I came to Delhi this week. It will not be my first time here or second or third. But back of my mind is the negative stereotype of particularly Nigerians in recent time. I meet people at Delhi overcrowded streets. And there is the usual nod in my direction. I switch on a smile. A few curiously edge close and intone in Delhi accent: "Are you from where?" "Africa" I retort. This satisfy some while the more knowledgeable ask further, the very question I dreaded: " Which part?". After a hesitant silence in which the question is repeated, I blurt out, "Nigerian!" Unnecessarily aloud. You are welcomed warmly as the inquirer nods rapidly sideways, an Indian way of expressing pleasure. So, the next time you are asked. you confidently pronounce your country with rounded voice. The result is young guys hugging you and snapping pictures. So, is the negative stereotype about Nigeria just a press fad? My God, Nigerians are loved here, especially in the cities I have visited. Delhi. The various sectors of Noida. proudly Nigerian. cc mynd44 lalasticlala

FTC for the second time in a day!! Allen Onyema is sure representing well. I like his giant strides. Nigeria should start mentoring the young ones under these industrialists and under the sponsorship of the federal government. A great Nigeria is achievable! |
Democracy is at stake. The word, INSTALL, is alien in a functional democracy. The people and tide of achievements should be allowed to decide. But here we try to calibrate and bend the system. The result is misfits and desperation, rigging and tyranny. The people's will should count for once. These retards should face governance and allow the people decide at the end of their tenure. |
Priest656:Mr. man you lack comprehension. I was condemning the DSS high handedness in Sowore issue and the perceived connivance of the presidency. Read again!! |
It is really hard to believe what is happening in Nigeria. A case that is subjudice is being commented on by the prosecuting party, the presidency. That was after invasion of the hallowed chambers of the judiciary to effect arrest that the court didn't authorize. If I were in the shoes of the trial judge, I will quit the case for DSS to continue the trial. |
AJ"s home soil is UK and Nigerians won't let us rest. Anyways, I like the young chap. He should please take it easy with DJ Cuppy's Puna. That one is not heavy weight bout |
This one will enter voicemail or the familiar number u are calling is not available at moment please try again later. No be naija again?? ![]() |
Even though I don't support the militarization, but it should be noted that robbery along the route increases during festivities. The hundred naira checkpoints are better than diehard robbers, my opinion. |
This is absolute sham and doesn't reflect party popularity. A reform of the system will stop the bandwagon effect. It's nauseating. |
Electoral reforms is necessary to reduce the wide margin of disputed elections. But our law makers are looking the other way. Electronic voting system can stamp out many of the discrepancies observed so far. |
The first picture though ![]() |
This is crazy. What about the subsisting court order? Impunity and clashes everywhere. Which one is superior now? The court order nullifying the emirates or the legislative order?? |
NwaAmaikpe:Chei NwaAmaikpe Sabi yarn o. Story Don suffer. |
And we should do what? This isn't front page worthy. There should be a dislike botton to mark down nonsense posts like this. Davido, his son his problem. |
Travel ban go sweet o. Wen they ban everyone that ever perpetrated electoral malpractice even those shouting now won't be free. ![]() |
China has joined Nigeria o. Me is not understanding o. I thought these countries are clean. Even the USA has their fair share of cyber scammers. But if u hear the hype on Nigerians you will think cyber crime is made in Nigeria. ![]() |
This is putting the cart before the horse. The National Working Committee should be allowed to mediate in peace. The Assembly should not become polarized between Osho baba and the incumbent Governor. The State chief executive should be given free hand to run the state. He can then be accepted or rejected at the poll. That's my two cent. |
The voting behavior of Nigerians is unpredictable. The level of poverty is so high that a mere cup of rice sways the voter. Also rigging is at an all time high. Figures are merely figures. The higher rigger wins, the masses just exercise franchise like routine duty and never care to protect their votes. Anyway, who will like to die for these capricious politicians? Nothing short of electoral reforms that incorporates card readers and electronic voting will sanitize the electoral space to an extent. We expect PMB to zero in on these options now. But fa, that's asking too much. The politicians will do everything to strangle a development that would boot them out of political reckoning. |
I will also congratulate David Lyon. The outgoing Governor, Dickson, shot himself in the foot. Rigged or not, you cannot successfully rig where you are not popular. Though the electoral act should be revisited to incorporate electronic voting system which will address some of the present challenges. |
Methinks constituency projects ought to be scrapped entirely. The Law makers should face their business squarely and stop meddling in development projects. It's unfortunate that those entrusted with lawmaking only use the opportunity to advance personal selfish interests. |
Be like say Ned Don score. If you know you know. After all the expenses, it's pay back. |
Soon everyone will walk out of the university with first-class honours. It's necessary to raise the bar now. Knowledge and teaching methods have improved. The same old grading will only churn out more and more first-classes demystifying the whole thing. |
Field qualified candidates, you won't. Now, you people will be dragging at court with the attendant internal struggles while PDP is busy perfecting her rigging plot. If you now you know. ![]() |
National disgrace. A call to more participatory citizenship. This is a caricature indeed. PMB is president today due to the validation of the apex court. Atiku can no longer trouble him or lay claim to the presidency due to Supreme COURT verdict. Yet the same COURT is being made a complete mockery of. Too sad. Nigerians wake up!!! |
Basic Fire safety requirements are lacking. No extinguishers. Where there are extinguishers, no trained personnel or it is not fit for purpose. Every Fire has specific extinguisher. Example, fires from electrical sources cannot be quenched with water. Only carbon dioxide based extinguisher or dry Power for fires less than 1000volts. Domestic fires are best quenched with wet chemicals. We need basic training in fire safety and Fire drills. This is imperative as the Dry season sets in. |
KINGreignn:Haba. Is stupor related to alcohol? Or u think liquor rhimes with stupor hence there's correlation? Stupor is a state of reduced consciousness or when one has difficulty using the senses or thinking clearly. |
That's concrete validation not sexually transmitted. Beauty and brains. She can hold her head high. |
A crack in the walls. I do not know why Deputies rarely ever succeed their bosses?? The PDP should not take Bayelsa state for granted. Anything is possible with the desperate APC politics. Which party will take Bayelsa? Like for PDP share for APC. |
Hmmm. Who have traced their origin to Igbo via DNA test. Laughing in Swahili. So, what's the ingredient in Igbo DNA? Kudos to the cultural reawakening by the traditional ruler of Enugwu Aguleri. |
Congratulations to the elected. Is it now Guild or Guide? Ayam not understanding. |
