There is enough evidence that millions of dollars which are unrelated to the duties of churches and mosques ,as stipulated in their articles of assoiciation and constitutions, are dumped with these religious leaders for businesses they would have no duty with in an organized country.

Let's leave the issue of Churches since there are evidence of their money laundering schemes for public officials. The United States of America which leads the global fight against terrorism have opined that for a successful resistance against Islamic extremism and terrorism to be achieved, regimes in every continent of this planet must monitor finances and prevent terrorism sponsorship. To fight a monster, it is pertinent to target its head not tail. The board of the Corporate Affairs Commission are well represented both on tribal and religious lines. This law does not in anyway specify churches. It literally states "NGOs and Religious bodies."

This means if IRAN sends funds to Shite Muslims in Nigeria for any purpose but officially says it is for building of Mosques , roads construction or building of a world class hospital, the Government of Nigeria will ensure that the funds are used for those purposes and no money is channeled for arms purchase. If SAUDI ARABIA sends funds to an Islamic Humanitarian Organization in Yobe or Zamfara, this bill will give the Corporate Affairs Commission authority to demand annual bank statements of these Organizations and trace the expenditure of their funds.

Remember, it's a legislation and will remain same even when a Christian PRESIDENT is elected. Similar legislations have been enacted in most developed nations. Only those who negate the concept of accountability will be irritated by this relevant amendment.

We've been told that it's difficult to do massive testing for the Coronavirus Disease in Nigeria. That we don't have the trained workers, technology, and money to do it like South Korea. This is why we've only conducted 5,000 tests in a country with a population of 195.9 million. This got

South Africa, with a population of 57.78 million, has conducted 80,085 tests.
Ghana, with a population of 29.77 million, has conducted 37,954 tests.
Egypt, with a population of 98.42 million, has conducted 25,000 tests.

Also, Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa, is 9th in the list of African countries which have conducted the most tests. We are also 26th in the list of African countries that have conducted the most tests relative to the size of their population. Should we be conducting way more tests?

I recently read that a very popular pastor in Nigeria spoke against the arrest of pastors who disobeyed the social distancing order by the government by holding services of more than 50 people. His argument is that the pastors were arrested just as Jesus and his disciples were arrested for doing what government warned against.

Both instances are quite different from each other. Jesus and his disciples were arrested by the government for upholding God's commandments and testimonies. These pastors on the other hand were arrested for disobeying the government who hasn't stopped them from upholding God's commandments.

The lockdown and social distancing order by the government is not a persecution of Christianity as some are trying to paint it. It is truly what it is - the protection of people which is by curbing the spread of COVID-19.

If some people say Christianity is persecuted because Churches aren't allowed to hold services in the regular manner, what about night clubs, sports stadiums, concert halls, restaurants, buses, schools etc? Can those ones also cry of persecution?

The government is simply trying to protect the citizens by ensuring that the number of people infected with COVID-19 doesn't increase. Perhaps, it's when people start dropping dead that stubborn folks will understand the government's effort.

Any pastor that tries to cramp his church with a crowd is wicked and should be arrested for endangering lives and aiding the spread of the virus.

Some may say "God will protect us, so we must have faith in that by gathering as usual". That is a wrong thing to say because it means you are tempting God. God steps in when there's nothing else you can do to protect yourself. But when you have measures or escape route and still decide to walk into evil because you think God will protect you, then you will be punished.

Proverbs 22:3

Don't tempt God, obey the government's guidelines towards battling this virus. It is not compulsory you gather in a build before you worship God. You can worship God individually at home because God is everywhere and can see you.

The only time you can disobey government's order as a Christian is when they are telling you to disobey God's word. Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego were told by their government to bow before a statue. They refuse because it was against God's commandment.

The three young man refused to obey the government's order because it goes against God's word. Then knew the punishment the government would visit then with. They knew God could deliver them from it because they couldn't deliver themselves. The only other way out of the punishment is by disobeying God. They didn't want that route so they trusted in God.

Don't let any false pastor expose your life to danger of the virus. The worst thing is that when you get infected, same pastors who hold stage-managed miracles in large stadiums won't be able to perform a miracle to heal you because they are false prophets who don't know God.

Stay at home and stay away from conspiracy theories. Read the Bible.

I didn't imply that it wasn't documented, but Donald Trump got his information from Chinese, therefore he shouldn't be credited for the information! Meanwhile, those who successfully used it for the clinical treatment of corona virus for the first time were these Chinese and so they deserve more accolade than Trump. Trump only heard from Chinese medical doctors that treated some patients with hydroxychloroquine. It is not his idea! Even our own Maurice Iwu suggested the use of antimalarial drugs long before Trump made his broadcast. Chinese medical doctors should take the credit for use of chloroquine to treat covid19, not Donald Trump!!!

The positive rate might be high...given that only people with travel history from high risk countries or contact with those suspects...are being tested. NCDC should include in their tracking board a record of number Tested. Only then, can the statistics make more sense.

I seriously frowned at FDA when they kicked against the use of ChloroQUEEN phosphate citing clinical trials as a reason. Less choose a necessary evil to save lives and after which treat the side effects that might likely follow suite.

My problem with ASUU is that they are greedy they only fight for their pockets, the students is not even their problems..after the whole agreement and negotiation you will see them driving luxury cars..am not saying is not good ohh...but how many times do they even lecture the students, some is when its close to exams you will see them fixing lectures up and down, how many research do they do,thesame syllabues everyyear...some their assignment for their own studies its thesame students they come and give them as assignment...my days during my undergraduate days i av a lecturer that uses one day to cover his lecture alws saying he busy lecturing in 3 universities..they just go on strike not minding the future of the students
