Wishful thinking, but it's NOT going to happen. Maybe in east Nigeria or biafra, there will never be an ibo president in this one Nigeria.
Politics › Re: The Question Before The Yoruba Nation by ycat:
And you transvestite coward who can't even keep to a recognized ID.

You are a hopeless robot who can't stand for anything, and fall for all things. Hogwash drinking zombie who lacks foresight. Bow your head in shame and stop talking trash, yo can't debate to save your miserable life.

The only destinies that have been sold are those of your s and your children at the alter of greed and for not being able to think properly.

Omugo the loser, Tinubu isn't the richest man in Nigeria and to question his wealth, you have to bring the corruption case against him or die in penury. Only a man/woman that wasn't raised with money and that will never make money envy a man whose source of wealth hasn't been linked to any corruption or embezzlement.

You are one of those who have had your mind screwed up by the system and used to getting money without working save for following politicians around. Now that your source of livelihood is yanked off your mouth, you are blowing up all over the place. No more free money for you programmed rodents, now you can go kiss a stray dog.
ElsonMorali:
Isn't it you ycat?

Kiss @ss. Tinubu's lapdog. When you eventually get half a sense you can come back for a proper debate. Meanwhile enjoy the money you got to come and launder his image here.

Hopefully in the nearest future you will realise that you not only sold your birth right to these politicians but those of your children and their own children after them.

Arindin. Have you asked yourself how come the man you are defending has made such stupendous wealth since his tenure as governor of Lagos?

If his actions are motivated out of altruistic reasons then he wouldn't have to steal would he?

But unfortunately people like you whom he has stolen from are dumb nitwits with nary a sense.

To continue arguing with you is like pouring water in a basket.
Politics › Re: The Question Before The Yoruba Nation by ycat:
Classic sellout coward, you can keep drinking from the same keg of hate you have for Tinubu, but the fact remains he's the only Yoruba leader that actually plays politics to favor Yoruba.

Confused robot, who stole your mandate? And do you even know what that means? Opening your mouth to say trash just makes you more stupidd than you appear to be.

Go get you a job, there's always something to do if you have both hands or you will continue to sleep with empty stomach. Stolen money is gone forever and the time has come to separate men from boys and productive individuals from lazy ass always looking for handouts.

Tinubu is the only Yoruba man alive doing everything to push Yoruba land forward, and y'all can keep saying what you want.

There was no evidence whatsoever that Tinubu wanted to be Vp and there was nothing that ruled him out of being a vp in our constitution.

You unproductive robots will continue to stay in your rabbit hole while Tinubu matches on with the gods of Yoruba land behind him.
ElsonMorali:
Typical myopic and totally false contribution from someone who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Tinubu loves his people? Yeah right. I laugh in pidgin. A politician that actually loves his people, haha. Maybe you weren't aware that the guy wanted the VP slot for himself before he reluctantly put Osinbajo. It is your tribe that protects their own worst. That is why this country is like this.

You queue up behind those alleged to have stolen the mandate of the people as well as their Commonwealth. You support vagabonds in power just because they are from your area.

Then you go back home and sleep with an empty stomach because those you're defending have impoverished you.

Saying that Tinubu is the only reason Yoruba people are relevant is actually an insult on the whole Yoruba ethnic race. That's why I'm convinced that maybe you're kind of high on cheap crack.

The only politician that has demonstrated unusual and unadulterated love for his people and for others is Awolowo. Good rest his soul. Others are just here to amass wealth and strut around like a god father.

In case you don't know, Bola Ahmed Tinubu's first loyalty is to himsel, then his party the APC. Not to Yoruba and definitely not to Nigeria.
Politics › Re: The Question Before The Yoruba Nation by ycat:
Yoruba have boxed themselves into a corner and are about to enter the wall which is just a matter of time.

The states that have not mined an ounce of any mineral resources are already in line for 13% derivatives when Lagos hasn't collected a dime from the port, and Ogun isn't asking anything from what the Fg is collecting from the companies all over the state. I guess they are waiting for someone to come tell them that these are their own contributions to Nigeria.

Back to the issue, I expect Yoruba to sell Tinubu, the only Yoruba leader that loves his people and makes sure we stand tall in the scheme of things in a country where every other tribe protects even the worse of their own. Tinubu is the only reason Yoruba nation is still relevant today, making sure he put Yoruba up as the Vp, the AFENIFERE prefer Yoruba to follow others like Gej who has no respect for Yoruba and didn't think we deserve any key appointment in his govt after receiving 85% of our voters.

And yes, there's no need for another party right now. Tinubu should stay where he is and work against those he should knowing what he knows now and towards holding Yoruba up there. That's politics!

I've told you that I don't buy walk-back on stories. Toyin first statement is the authentic, the rest are damage control. There's no point adding some new parts and pieces to it. She stated her side of the story and roped herself and came across as an opportunist looking out to prey on people like Mayowa.

Apology accepted
Welcome back!
Alcatraz003:
I have been under a seemingly unending ban by the mods due to opinions expressed on the way forward to the biafran question. Shortly after creating that thread, i was disappointed firstly by the ban and the subsequent views of notable e-yoruba stalwarts i.e ycat and others i cant readily recollect on my true identity.

My crime was advocating for the yorubas to join hands with the igbos to see to the realization og biafra so we can be rid of the igbos who keep blaming us for their every woe. I admit i made a huge mistake for trying to divide the yorubas on religious grounds and i am sincerely sorry for that, i was just a bit frustrated as to why we cant let the igbos go. Once more, i apologise to every yoruba youth on this board for that terrible gaffe and i promise not to repeat that again.

Every one that knows me here can attest to my fanatical love for my tribe and the efforts i have put in to enlighten my brothers on the dangers posed by the igbos who want to see us destroyed. I was therefore deeply saddened by accusations from some yoruba youths that i might be working in concert with the igbos to divide yorubas. For the record, i am yoruba to the marrow and i want nothing else for the race than peace, progress and accelerated development, i would never work with any other entity to destabilise or sow seeds of discord amongst yorubas on nairaland.

Therefore, i urge all yoruba on nairaland who by reason of that thread and my comments therein now think i am an impostor to please dispel such thoughts and accept my apology. Ti a ba fi owo osi ba omo wi, ao fi owo otun fa pada (pardon any mistakes made therein). I am so sorry and i urge on yorubas on this board to seek unity at all cost in the face of increased assault by the igbos.

I wont end this article without commenting on the current bombardments of the militants in the creeks of lagos and the reaction of the igbos to same. The igbos by their comments on all social media outlets in Nigeria have further shown their deep seated hate for the yorubas and i am happy because my main job in here is being made easier. We yorubas should therefore not be surprised that igbos want war and bloodshed in yoruba land so that you can claim your pound of flesh for the biafran war. This is the wish and fervent prayer of most igbos for the yoruba nation and Almighty God will not grant their wish.

We commend the gallantry and valour of men and Officers of the Nigerian armed forces who are taking part in operation awatse to decimate and dislodge unscrupulous elements and their sympathisers from Yoruba land, may Almighty God continue to bless and strengthen you.

God bless Yorubaland
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

On the nose!
Watch out for news cooking from their stable of falsehood coming to nairaland soon.
ba7man:
IPOBS, thanks for the concern but the residents of those areas affected have internet access and smart phones to report genocide if it happens.

I don't know how you living in Aba can know more than the residents.

They reported it on Nairaland when Millitants were killing their community residents.

They reported it when Millitants where shooting randomly in their communities.

They reported it when their Oba was kidnapped.

They reported it when planes where bombing Millitants camps.

They reported it that they had 3 days notice before bombings.

They reported it that most of them were moving out.

So why do you in far away Aba feel you need to report that The NA are killing Yorubas en mass?

Well, we know the bombings are hurting you and you need to console yourself.
Celebrities › Re: Bidemi Kosoko To Toyin: Let Them Say Whatever They Like, All You Did Was To Help by ycat: 12:27pm On Jul 31, 2016
Only you know what you read and where you are reading it, but what was not in the original statement Toyin made is an after thought that can be for damage control. I'm judging only by Toyin's statement and none of what you raised now was in there. And she still doesn't need to go with them to know if they use the money wisely, the sick woman has someone she trusts to make decisions for her. She didn't enter any contract with Toyin, all they owe her is 'thank you' and I'm sure she got that already in abundance. I hope God puts everyone who stands in the way of treatment for this woman and prolongs her pain in more devastating condition than this woman is currently experiencing. This is the height of wickedness.
lonelydora:
From what I read yesterday, the family members weren't coherent which brought about the suspicion. From America, they changed to Dubai, the brother telling her to back off the case in the middle of nowhere. Why do they have to lock up their house and run away when the alarm bell triggered if they are clean. Toyin refused to drop the rope with the masquerade because she wants to fully follow up the case. This is money donated by Nigerians and must be accounted for. Well, only time will tell what transpired in this whole issues.
Celebrities › Re: Bidemi Kosoko To Toyin: Let Them Say Whatever They Like, All You Did Was To Help by ycat: 11:57am On Jul 31, 2016
God can't bless Toyin cos dashing the hope of the sick woman after raising it can cause extra stress to her. Why does she need to go with the woman when her trusted family members are readily available to do that. If Toyin wants a vacation, she needs to pay for it, not at the sick woman's expense. There's so much that is wrong with what she stands for, and that is why she wants the woman to suffer because she can't make money off of her. When you give a goat to masquerade, you release the rope. She just doesn't know what's in store for her own very health in future. What she is doing is just evil and will be punished for it. Of course I expect her equally confused and morally bankrupt colleagues and friends to come to her aid, it's what they can do too. They are mostly greedy and wouldn't mind making a buck or two even if others are hurting for it.
lonelydora:
But wait ooooo. Did the family think Toyin will pay her flight ticket to and fro USA from her money? They are the biggest joker. Even if it's you, will you pay from your personal money?

It's a case of "Abeg, escort me go market" which means the person who need that help will foot the transport bills.

Nigerians are too difficult to manage. God bless Toyin for her helping hand.

We have to until there's credible evidence to suggest otherwise. The villagers aren't stupid, they know who their attackers are. And you guys never refuted the claims by the victims until the police and military got involved. Why then were your people celebrating "ijaws killing Yoruba"? It's either you are lying now or then, both can't be true. Either way, half truth is still a lie.

Btw, check the meaning of 'militant' and correct yourself
Rayhutar:
You people are still claiming that those militant are from ND where the two militant leaders arrested so far in Ogun are Yorubas, you guys should stop living in self denial and takle the menance of area boys and agkporos in your land.
Politics › Re: BREAKING NEWS: Military Bombs Arepo To Dislodge Militants [PHOTOS] by ycat: 4:08am On Jul 31, 2016
Slay! You took that right out of my mouth!
They are restless over their enemies being bombed when they should be celebrating as they usually do, is it because they know what we all know, that their brothers are under siege, running helter skelter and will never see SW the same way again? The next thing you will see is some made in Aba fake news coming out to support their claims. Yoruba don't listen that these people think they are at war with us and using all propaganda known to man to fight us, and we need to start acting like we get it. Or how can you explain.people who have been celebrating that ijaws are killing Yoruba, only to turn around and say no, Yoruba women and children are the ones terrorizing the villages just because the terrorists are being killed? Like you said, any Yoruba hanging with these criminals deserves to die too.
Osgilliat:
Some are saying that the militants rights are being violated by bombing them, some are saying that it was the Yorubas that are being bombed, some are saying that the military can't do that in Niger delta, some are saying bla bla bla bla..
It's the Yoruba land they can handle things the way they like, since it's not your militants that are being killed like you claimed then you should be rejoicing like the way you are use to when they blow things up, you don't have to come here to be showing your stupidity. Any Yoruba or other tribe in the camp of the militant when things goes kaboom deserved it as well...

Politics › Re: Military Kills 114 Militants In Ogun And Lagos Creeks - Today.ng by ycat:
I tell ya! The obsession is out of this world sick. Just think about it, what kind of people hate and wish evil on innocent and peaceful people who have made their community available to you to feel at home and do your trade with peace of mind? It's the cruel animal set of human beings. They don't appreciate the kindness we show them but the 'carrot and stick' approach like they find in the north. While we don't have violence in us we can shrink them up and make sure they don't expand. We don't have to announce what we are doing. They are animals that can never understand good human gestures, we are just wasting our time being nice.

I think Yoruba are responsible for what is going on with the militant in Ogun and Lagos, how I wish the monarchs are all kidnapped and killed for failing to protect the people. There should have been measures put in place to make sure new faces and strange movements are reported. There were announcements that some of these villages would be attacked, so what were the stupid monarchs waiting for? Why didn't they get community policing and intelligence gathering together? There should be informants along our riverine since the niger delta is going up in smoke. Have message sent to people to report any sighting of people who don't belong around there before they mobilize again. I really don't know why we have dumb leaders.

SE contributes the lowest to the nation. So you can't even feed yourselves let alone feed others. You are also the economic refugees in every nook and corner of Nigeria.
Oluwabusobomi:
Buhari has really polarised this country through his actions and inactions

The worst part of it is that no matter what decision he made, the once vocal region (wasted region) will always support him

You can not conspire to pull down the two regions (SS & SE) that the so called Nigeria feeds on and expect them to keep mute and look on... only the wasted region does that. Awo's imprisonment and June 12 is a good example. They will rather die in silence!
A good example is the one above me

Is it not better for every region to stand on their own? Is that not what we are praying for? Great idea! But this will not happen on its own. We need to put the structure in place. If you are in Ogun or Lagos, start the awareness and ask for help to fund it. This is how it should be, we can brainstorm all day but if we don't think less and act more, we might as well stop thinking.
Bolustic:
It's time to apply catchment area and derivation policy to job opportunities since it's applicable to universities admission and ND respectively.

Companies in Ogun state, for example, should employ QUALIFIED Ogun indigenes and South Westerners first before other Nigerians.

This policy would make the state governments sit up and create conducive environment for investors.

Whaatttt! This woman's movie should be boycotted by all. I've always known her to be fake. I didn't buy it when I saw kissing all over the sick woman on YouTube, not knowing it was all about making money off of other people's misfortunes. Her true color is now out for all to see, she doesn't want the sick woman to get help since the family won't allow her to make money from it. How can she call this a scam? What is scam about this? Who is she to say the girl is terminally ill when physicians haven't made that call, just because of some gossips she said she heard that may not even be true. We need to watch out for all these wannabes Yoruba who are still the evil they were born to be in the first place. I will never watch movies this hungry woman is in from now on. She made some desperate comments during the last elections too cos of money.

Toyin Aimakhu or whatever your name is, you are evil and destroying other people's lives doesn't get worse than this, you will meet your Waterloo. You are NOT a celebrity or good role model but a lowlife rake.
