EducationRe: Kogi State University Pulls-out Of ASUU Strike. by yemi2plus(m): 10:44am On Dec 10, 2013
I just dey laugh una. Na by to pull out? The thing is this, all universities in Nigeria has been open since the strike started about five months ago. So, pulling out or saying the school has been open for academic activities to take place is rubbish. Have you bother to ask yourself this question, "will lectures hold?"

PoliticsA Letter To Late Nelson Mandela by yemi2plus(op): 4:25pm On Dec 09, 2013
Dear Mandela,
Kindly inform the following persons about the current development in Nigeria when you get to the world beyond.

Inform Herbert Macaulay that
the party he founded years ago has been
turned to People
Destroying Party. And the leaders are the worse problem of Nigeria today.

Let Obafemi Awolowo know that we now
pay school fees without going to school and Mr President don't care.

Also inform Nnamdi Azikiwe that the long wall to democracy he built has fallen, and only the cracked fence
still stands.

Inform Chief Anthony Enaharo that the
independent nation he fought for is no more. And Boko Haram is taking over.

Let Alh. Ahmadu Bello know that our judicial
system now favors
only the rich and says to the poor, "go and die".

Tell Fela that Terry G aka Terry jesus has taken over afro beat and Nigerian musicians now pull their pants to perform on stage.

Inform Muritala Mohammed that we still use kerosene lamp and candles to see at night.

Tell King Jaja of Opobo that we are still
slaves in our own
country.

Dele Giwa that the Nigerian press system
has been bought with
money by the ruling party.

And please, don't forget to tell Prof.
Iyayi that Federal Government has
paid N200 Billion into ASUU account but they have not seen alert yet. Also let him know that lecturers and members of ASUU are fighting in the school in once taught in.

Kindly let they know that we need a quick reply to this letter.

Thanks.

purplecircle: Hello everyone, i have done like 5 diff shipping and buying of diff items from Aliexpress and alibaba but i used Chrisvic for all. But now their exchange rate i just cant deal, i would like to pay myself . Please advice on the best bank Card tp use on Aliexpress pls. Thanks alot.
I'll advise you read the season one of this thread as I'm currently doing same for now. Per your question, you can use UBA Africard or GTbank Naira MasterCard. You can get the UBA Africard for less than a thousand naira, while the GTbank will cost your 3050. The 3050 include the money to open a new account and to apply for a token that will enable you pay online without fear. I think chrisvicmall is the only third party agent that can be trusted to ship your goods from China. Though, I agree with you on their price. $1 to 170 is too much for me too.

No bro. You got me wrong. I was referring to the guy that quoted the post even with the warning.

Just click on "quote" on the post, copy the text, paste it on your message and save as draft.

@chris, I want to import some items from china, I have registered on your website and read through the site. You charge $1 to 170 right?
Which of the china address will I use while filling the shipping address? Is it the one written in chinese or english? Also, I will like to have your china number and fax as they are required while filling the shipping address. Thanks.

I just ordered for some cheap earrings and unisex wrist watches before coming to this thread and saw your message. Since ASUU is not ready to call off the strike and I'll not be going to school until March or so, I decided to use Free shipping. I have been tracking my first order with the tracking number sent to me by the seller. I'm waiting for today's payment to be verified. I'll keep the thread updated with any new development.

Yeah! I watched the movie when I was stil a kid; people that know me from birth still call me by that nickname till tomorrow.

In any business you engage yourself in, how to market your goods is very important and play a major role. There are different methods for marketing different products. You can't use the same marketing method for marketing laptop with jewerly.

A female friend just asked if I can import jewerly for her, I visited one of the site on the e-book and saw cheap complete jewerly set as cheap as $0.95. Though, I don't know much about female and fashion, but I have female friends who know all the new and old fashion goods in vogue. I'll place order on whatever they advise me on and ship they to Nigeria with a third party agent.

Below are ways who can market your goods.

1. Tell friends and family members about your products. They can buy from you as wholesaler then re-sell in small quantity to other people.

2. Give then some product to sell with a little commission. As in, you can give them a ring for a fixed price of 1500naira and tell them to sell it at any price above 1500. Whatever they make above the 1500 is theirs. But they must return your fixed price to you.

3. Create thread on nairaland about your product.

4. Create a facebook page and share the link with your friends and enemies.

5. Paste ads on facebook pages that have hung fan base.

6. Pay to advertise on facebook pages that have large fan base.

7. Pay to advertise here on nairaland.

8. Sell directly. If you're a student in the university, you can visit any computer store and type/print a page A4 paper containing details of what you're selling, then paste it all over your school notice board, hostel, lodges, market, e.t.c.
All the best dear.

klens: when I started, it took me 3 days to finish season one and like 20 pages more on season too at that 3rd day I made my first importation without any fear , you too can beat that record. just be determined and focused, don't be discouraged. wish you all the b best.
Good morning to every one in the thread and thanks for your good contribution.

Personally, I will advise every newcomer to visit the season one of this thread. It's indeed informative and good for newbie like me. Most of the questions people are asking here have been answered on that thread. Not only that, you'll find more information; the thread is just 100pages.
I'm still reading it sha, I'm now on page 15 and will the rate I'm going, I might beat the record of the above user.
Like mercylicous said late year dec on that thread, "2013 hear me and hear me well, I must make cash with importation" 2014 should hear me and hear me well too, I must make chess via importation.
Just a question, is chrisvic still active? I registered on the site and could not find how to send them links of product I wish to ship to Nigeria, also, there live chat is not longer running.

kolaide: in business if you don't learn to be patient you might not make an head-way. also, if you don't take the pain to read read from season one of this thread, then i don't think you really value the little amount you might want to invest in this business. asking questions that can be easily found in the previous pages, not only give room to skip important information on a page but also make the thread boring! Please, if you are new to the thread take the pain to read from season one, and you will not regret doing so. Let learn to feed ourselves, and not to be fed! At least its a DIYIG thread!
Kindly post the link. Thanks.

1. Will I have to visit my bank (GTbank) to change my current address to the one I recieve from the site above? Or will I just add it to my list of addresses?
2. Is the "card security code" during the registration same as the last three numbers after my signature at the bank of my MasterCard?
Help on this Please.

HisRib: 5) Sex

Yes, that's right! I'm talking about the type of sex where you take your time to make sure your partner is fully satisfied.
Small tip for the Ladies: when he comes home from work, meet him at the door naked and slowly bring him to the room and rock his world. Don't just do the same routine sex like everyday. Once in a while, light it up in the bedroom and I guarantee you, he'll be hooked to your hip forever.
Does this applies to Nigerians? If yes, I'm not ready to be in a relationship then. Sex straight work? E nor go eat and rest first?

^^ You failed to realise that each and everyday a new person joins this thread and will surely need to ask some questions before he/she takes the risk of importing. Are you saying their questions should be ignored because someone has asked same question?

Somebody should please answer the question I asked about the Myamericanshipper?

If a girl gets pregnant without marriage, the family will have to appease the gods or else the breadwinner or an elderly person will die

You do not go to a particular stream during your period. etc
