I agree with her thinking, but i know if this becomes mainstream, it will certainly get abused. What if in the course of the marriage, she wasnt even fulfilling her duties as housewife? What if her partner suffered emotional abuse, nagging etc and had to hire a maid to fulill the so-called housewife role? |
Unruly7:And funny enough, they call sub-Sahara Africans 'afriki'... meaning we blacks are Africans and they arent |
Did the police make them wash off their hair dye or what? And why are they in different clothes? The two pictures look like they were taken at different times and they almost look like six different suspects. |
Fiscus105:Wallahi! This is the TRUTH and nothing but. Artisans build economies and industry. That mentality of believing only those who went to university and acquired a a degree to show for it (so that they can qualify for a white collar job), can be successful in life issa scam. My two cents! |
SeriouslySense:'Tsamiya'... you're referring to Tamarind (English name)
|
helinues:Havent they started already?? |
Show bro! its all for show and optics. Why do you think people whose job ensure they interact with the general public on the daily get paid wardrobe allowance? An o.losho with a price tag of say 5k can confidently demand 500k as far as she's using Apple's 11. Give or take, that 600k is like an investment to some people out there, because it will instantly give them more clout and project affluence... remember, money (even if na audio) attracts money; the poor will always happily give to the rich (or seemingly rich).. sad, but thats the way it is... And besides, these days, phones are a lot more than just phones. They are accessories we now consider more fashionable than other fashion accessories like gold... now, rationalise why someone will shell out N10m for example on a ring? |
Chanchit:Awon 'Dubai porta-potties'... just google the term... |
HardcoreEdoman:Bro, speak for yourself! whattis better than what? abi what did i just read!! |
mrphysics:Good, but in the meantime, save up enough because, you are repaying that student loan... |
Eda yio ro'jo... all involved in this macabre activity should please continue... the 'Day of Reckoning' might be real or might be just a myth; but definitely all souls will face judgement. Just see how haggard they all look upon all the curses and affliction they have brought upon their present and future generation. I wonder why some people dont see the 'big picture'... why would you sell your soul because you want to live 'large' for a few years? Even if its 100 years, its small in the grand scheme of things. I think there is a recent spike/resurgence in this fetish poo over the past five years. An area i'd suggest government look into is 'Nollywood'. There's a reason China banned and censored fetish stuffs in its media and i think we should follow the same example. Government should use that avenue for a start, to educate and enlighten its citizens on the folly of engaging in such. Most Nollywood movies, while hiding under propagating culture advertise the efficacy of fetishism, we should draw a redline somewhere. |
The second born son looks like a product of away game... |
BankeSmalls:Use your brain for once, atleast those ones selling 'agbo jedi' are not decieving the final consumer/public.. you know what u are buying before patronizing them... |
The only thing that keeps baffling me is how these people refuse to act bright. Cambodia, like most other Southasian countries, is a mostly conservative society. Now when lizards like these turn up looking the way they do in appearance, definitely eyebrows will be raised and questions asked; considering the 'black stereotypes' Hollyw00d as infused in the minds of populations in that part of the world. You sport dreads, you talk aggresively in loud tones in public, you fight yourselves occasionally in public... you are the physical manifestation of the big bad black guy we see on tv! Yet, bro you still 'carry market', Nwanne!! Please for their benefit, lets temporarily suspend issuance of visa/flight tickets to anyone going to that part of the world till further notice! I know only few will be affected. |
Just read 'The Manipulated Man' by Esther Vilar.. It was written by a woman... that book is a gem! |
This woman dey find trouble... i'm earnestly waiting for Bob's response... |
The war on cars: Philippines President Duterte destroys $7.3 million worth of luxury vehicles to make anti-smuggling statement Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, best known in recent years for his horrific war on drugs, is now advancing a war on smuggling by destroying dozens of luxury vehicles seized by the country’s customs officers. Among a fleet destroyed at Port Irene in recent days were 68 cars and eight motorbikes, including vehicles by Porsche, Lamborghini and Mercedes Benz worth an estimated $7.3 million, as the firebrand leader “renewed his commitment to fight smuggling,” a release said. Duterte, whose crackdown on alleged drug dealers includes their frequent summary execution by death squads, says the vehicles had to be destroyed as they were set to be sold illegally. He and his team wore hard hats and cheered as the fleet crumbled beneath bulldozers. Duterte said in a release that he wanted a create an environment where business could thrive — something that could only be done by destroying vehicles gained illegally, even if corruption itself was not yet fully eradicated. “(Y)ou have to show to the world that you have a viable place of investment and business,” he said. “And the only way to show it is that you are productive and that you have the economy to absorb the productivity of the population.” “You know, before a place can really be developed or a viable place to do business, you have to establish first law and order. You allow government to work in this area, establish economic centers, make it productive, make it safe, make the buildings, the structures fire-free. No attack, no killing,” he added. Duterte had previously destroyed a fleet of 14 luxury vehicles in February, saying they were set to be consigned to non-existent owners and, once in the country, sold on. Some 800 vehicles in total have recently been seized. The vehicles from both round-ups — or, what remains of them — will be used to construct a three-storey “Monument of Change” in the Cagayan port area, in an effort to show foreigners that the country is on the path towards proper governance. The release also went on to mention the country’s war against communist rebels, with Duterte offering an apparent olive branch should they lay down their arms after negotiations. “I don’t know what will happen to the talks,” the release says. “But if you guys want just maybe a place where you can work and earn money for your family for their education, you might do well just to talk to anybody even to the military and the police about how we can sort it out among ourselves. War would bring us nothing.” Source: https://nationalpost.com/news/world/the-war-on-cars-philippines-president-duterte-destroys-7-3-million-worth-of-luxury-vehicles-to-make-anti-smuggling-statement

I tire for 9ja journalism wallahi... this one storms, that one storms... cant y'all find another word to use? no creativity rara... |
Jesus wept... if thats what rocks his boat, more power to him. Thing is, our forefathers didnt do all these poo, yet they had lasting marriages and commanded their wives respect at all times. |
Wait o... wait! i have a problem with this thread! It seems this man just made a comment on a random Facebook post, not like he published this comment on Twitter or the Gram... Bloggers, it has gotten to this shey? That single comment, politically correct or not, has somehow, now warranted this public shaming... How far we've come...!? I see the poster even had to dig out his pics and whatnot... I wonder how said poster would feel, if someone does same to him, just b'cos he was guilty of wrong-think! Interesting times ahead, gentlemen! |
...and the humbling of men continues ; weak-ass men everywhere. |
bebe2:Unfortunately, madam, ladies of nowadays are no longer ready to do the little things you listed up there... cook, clean, wash ke!? they say any man ready to marry them must be able to do those himself... abi is it not on this same Nairaland we read such 'ish'? Awon 'feminist gang'... u cant eat ur cake and still have it... As for children, i'll personally elect to take custody. I speak for no one! |
So because your brother said this, and said that - "girls should not ask a guy out" - ok. |
1x2x3:Just be happy you saw her for who she was on time. It could have been worse. Imagine waking up one day to see a stranger knocking on your door demanding to see 'his child' or her frequent unexplained trips. And trust me, most single mothers will cheat on you with their baby daddy if the opportunity presents itself even if its years after the fact, forget what she says; quote me anyday. I just see no reason why i should bring extra drama into my life. Dating in this day and age is already strenous, what with feminism and all, talkless of single mama drama. Its a big No-no! |
1x2x3:Pure rationalization after the fact. This just proves her poor sense of judgement. Why get pregnant before marriage? Why should i be the one paying for her errors. Love is blind o, but i draw the line somewhere... |
No beef, but personally i might only marry a single mother if she's single because she's widowed. Any other reason is a No-No. Its the height of cuckoldery having to raise another man's kid while putting up with her 'entitlement mentality'. I'll only 'pump and dump' thatz all. Sound harsh, but thats the way it is. Remember the old adage, "she single for a reason" and that reason is usually bad. She didnt have the patience/good judgement to make it work with her baby daddy (even for the sake of the kid), why should she stick with you. The cons of dating SMs are just more than the pros - not worth it imho. Why settle for used goods when there's plenty of fresh ones about. I am interested in joining the French Foreign Legion and the only way to apply is to show up in person at their depot in Aubagne or Paris. Will the French Embassy grant me a visa to travel over there? Urgent responses will be appreciated... thanks. |
Bash10:What about ICQ?
|
To the young guys reading this, dont listen to the OP oo... why.should a young man in his prime settle for less? Dont accept all ideas these 'social-justice warriors push on us hook, line and sinker. A young man should seek out a partner atleast 5 years his junior, not someone thats been riding the d before you even started growing pubic hairs; and is also about to hit the proverbial "wall", just because some Harry made a blog post promoting it. I'd give you more disadvantages of dating an older woman... |
I beg who respect epp? You lose respect for me, you lose my companionship - simple! And this applies to my male friends too. |
davxon:Bro read the story now... them say 'heist', i.e robbery on industrial scale...! |
