Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Yemiiee: 8:28pm On Nov 03, 2019
from the way this thread has been going off late they definitely will relax, it's not as busy as it used to be
DammyDurst:
Well going forward, I see'em relaxing it pretty soon as they'd lose a whole lot of applicants as UK is also offering the same 2-yrs post study visa.
Travel / Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Yemiiee: 10:50am On Nov 01, 2019
Exactly, ireland has a lot of protocol for you to follow and Paper work too I don’t blame them.
donbreeezy:
After the 2yrs PS visa announcement, seems many students are now switching to UK for January admissions o... I think that's why many are not active here at the moment.

Unfortunately I’m not based in Abuja, but I think I will wait for it to be six weeks like yours before I probably find a way to go there.
Thank you for your response and advice

Heimdall:
If you're in Abuja, I would suggest you stop by at the embassy. I had this issue with my visa also. I submitted my appeal on the 18th of July and I didn't get any call till the 3rd of October. Apparently, my visa was ready since the 27th of August but, according to them, they couldn't reach me (which is impossible cause I kept calling them and sending emails) and that I should have come to the embassy when I didn't hear from them after a month.

All the best with your appeal.

Does anyone have any news on those that sent in appeals last week in September cause it’s over a month now that I and some other folks sent in supporting documents for our appeals but no response, I don’t understand what’s going on. Anyone here with a similar experience

Please what’s the duration of an application getting to the embassy from vfs Lagos.

I dropped my documents 6th of August at vfs Lagos and it’s still yet to be shipped after tracking, this is 2 weeks gone already, anyone else having this challenge?

Don’t fret, I also submitted on the 6th, you are checking the wrong place check vfs not ups ups is going to be showing you that message. Vfs will show you when your application was forwarded to Abuja.

Please help provide an answer. Thank you.

One thing i would say....

From the little i have seen about life..

Nothing is sacrosanct, it might work for one and not for another.

I have seen sure stuffs fail during somebody time...

So what works for A does not necessarily mean it would work for B.

let just continue to Hustle..

God would help us...

Please i want to pay SEVI's Fee... Can anybody help

Hello Afehin71,

Insufficient funds is not all about the SOA balance. It may also mean lump sum deposited into the account without showing proof of the source of the money and so on

Family ties means proof that you have ties in Nigeria. It also ranges from ties such as your parents, siblings, land documents if you have any and so on

Purpose of study may mean that the course you chose doesn't show progression

Travel history is most times "jara". Many people have gotten Canada study permit as first time travelers. It is about your travel history and not your dad's travel history.

In summary, order your GCMS notes first for the detailed analysis (reason for refusal)

Hello

please how does one get GCMS notes
