Jennyclay:If this is the response you have to this matter, it shows the way you reason and it is very unfortunate. A man decides to date you and rather than watch and study the qualities in him, all you can think of is billing, all because you feel he must spend to earn your cooperation. he gets tired and you move to the next guy. The next guy gets tired and you move to the next one. My sister, you are already a hookup girl and your body count is growing. Some of you can't even visit a guy (a potential husband) unless he sends transport fare first! To be very sincere with you, a young man can only have a serious relationship with someone he's comfortable with and not someone who expects something all the time no matter how rich he is. That is why sometimes, they say, you already had your husband as a boyfriend. The earlier you liberate yourself from this stinking entitlement mentality, the better. |
But why is it that these 'money na water' people can not find any other meaningful business to do asides drugs? Do they even remember that they will eventually get caught and be prosecuted? Is this the kind of life they want to live? "My brother dey obodo India or Thailand '! I just pity some families. |
I used to think that when one gets a job, provided its what you wanted, applied for and luckily got, the primary thing is to hold it tightly so you can grow your career from there. The most annoying part is your employer made it clear that he would not tolerate unionism but you think he has said his own. You would join the union and nothing would happen. If he complains, you would report your boss to the union and they would shut down his refinery that put food on your own table! Isn't that foolishness? Well, you have been employed but the power or discretion to deploy you is fully your employer's responsibility! Therefore, you either accept your deployment or take a decision! |
Patriotic9ja:You said it all bro. Most times, we allow our challenges derail our focus, rather than pause and think deeply to decipher where a likely opportunity might be hiding in our challenges. I'm so much in love with this man. Lock him up in a room, he suffers and the next time you do it, you either find him holding a spare key or he'd already made an escape through a secretly dug window space. We should all try to emulate this man even in our daily lives because, take it or leave it, he's a role model. The other day, pengassan instructed all their affiliate members in the upstream sector, even in multinationals to down tools and block movement of crude to dangote refinery, but see what he has done! Fine, 40,000 bpd can not serve him but there's always a starting with rooms for improvement. |
heniford2:I've always known that there would be, at least, one person who will rubbish the excellent work Prof. Soludo is doing in Anambra. I know I've not been there recently but pls learn to appreciate good things. To me, with what I'm seeing, Soludo is the best governor Anambra has ever produced! |
This is a welcome development. Someone should tell me why these governors should not be commended for their performances left, right and centre, courtesy of subsidy removal and enablement from Tinubu who gives them enough allocation for development to go round I passed through that road about 5 months ago and I really felt for those living on that axis. I give kudos to Gov. Otti for this and I hope he monitors the contractor to see the project to a timely conclusion and inauguration. |
ZACHIE:I agree 💯 |
bamasite2:Dem never born their papa well. Na to wail and develop stomach disorder on top good news them sabi. God bless Sen. Dave Umahi and Tinubu administration for this fantastic milestone. I've never even been to that state before but I appreciate good things and commend them when they perform so they can be encouraged to do more. |
Tochi3:Who is this one that doesn't even understand what is happening! Well, no need to talk much. You people said a lot more before 2023 but you got the joker! Jagaban and Wike na your mate? Just chill! Time will tell 🏃🏃🏃🏃 |
Racoon:You people forget that time changes, right? Keep holding on to Amaechi matter and keep living in the past. The world evolves by the passing of the minute and if you're stuck and don't bother evolving, you will sure be left behind. |
MaziObinnaokija:She would not dare. Osho is not an easy nut to crack. She should ask Obasanjo for testimonies. |
People should stop making noise. We all know that all this is coming from Sowore and his people. Wike today, his wife tomorrow, his son next tomorrow. Kilode. Abeg, you people should find something serious to do with your life and leave these people alone. Whether you people like it or not, even if Wike and his wife leave politics and government today, they are made and they are made for life. Looking for their downfall will not bring you uplift. You people should face your business. The only offence Wike committed is being one of the very few ministers performing excellently to give this Tinubu administration a good name, but that is what you people hate to hear. Wike will remain in that seat till 2031. Whoever is not satisfied is free to obtain their voter's card and vote against their party in 2027. Unfortunately, that lone vote will still not have an effect. |
owobokiri:If this is your own verdict. Then, it's very unfortunate. You are assumed to be educated (or so I think), and I don't know the kind of constitutional role she is playing by going against the rule she swore to uphold. Remember, she is not just a senator, she is also a lawyer. So I expect her to know better. If she is to represent a client on a big case in a law court, would she dare go against the court process and not earn herself a stiff sanction? Which work are you doing that you must stir up some drama anywhere you are |
Hmmm this people! Issokay |
The plans and the wishes of the enemies will not stand. They are disappointed and must be having running stomach by now. They said he's got stroke and can no longer resume duties bla bla bla.i wonder why people always jubilate at bad news. The minister is human and can break down just like us but to now wish him death just because he's holding a high position is all shades of evil. |
Floky215:Your plans will not work. Those people you pray to die most times even live to witness your end. Look at IBB, his burial was celebrated and his coffin carried and nailed by many who are no more alive today. So, be careful what you wish for others. |
Brendaniel:I wonder why, in your thinking, you leave Tinu u to come and ask me why Tinubu supported Buhari! Am I Tinubu or am i Buhari? I'm less concerned about Buhari or his doings but Lagos - Calabar coastal highway is a laudable legacy project with a lot of economic benefits, and I will support it irrespective of anybody's opinion. |
Brendaniel:Nobody has ever celebrated construction of Railway line to Niger republic even when Nigeria was yet to get enough railway in its every region. Niger is not Nigeria. Just imagine when the third mainland bridge was built in Lagos and people like you claimed it was unnecessary, it was this, it was that! At the time, Lagos already had Eko bridge and Carter bridge in place but the foresight the government had at the time was that the influx of people from other region to Lagos, even after the federal seat was moved away, could not be ignored. If not, nowhere would be passable with the growing population. I am sure you would agree with me that Lagos is already in need of a fourth bridge because the three in use are already overstretched. Governance is all about now and future. If you care for now, by the time your generation is gone, the upcoming generation will not be happy with you for not making provision for them. Foresight is everything. |
Brendaniel:call it whatever you like. It is the best legacy project this administration has embarked upon right now. Your opinion is actually not needed. when it is completed, we will use it. As for you, you are free to go through your 13hour route. it is nobody'd business, it is your choice. Very myopic set of people. if it not what you're eating right now, it is not needed. I dont blame you, you are following the footsteps of your principal just because he has said so and you do not even have a mind of your own to discern what is needed or not. |
We don't need anything other than massive road infrastructure across the state. We can take care of ourselves, just give us good road network and we'll be fine. |
SouthSouth1914:Of course, criticisms are welcome, it's what I love because it puts them on their toes, making them to strive towards putting up their best performance. But then, you don't criticize achievements, you can only criticize inactions. And when you have no contrary evidence of propaganda, you can not just criticize blindly. I've always said one thing and I will say it again. If the government claim to have done something and you want to disclaim it, you must have your contrary fact handy and include it in your criticism. If you can not do that, you can as well just keep quiet. Always get your facts right! |
SouthSouth1914:Na wa o, your hatred will not get you anywhere. Someone is busy reeling out his achievement, courtesy of the president's enabling policies and financial support, you are here claiming he is high. But if they're not working, you would claim they're not doing anything. Whether you people like it or not, they will continue delivering and development will go round. And you know what, you and I are paying for it indirectly through taxes and subsidy removal. Yes, that's the sacrifice we must make for development and there's nothing anybody can do about that. God bless Wike God bless Tinubu God bless Nigeria |
AMINDA:Only people of hate would believe the news spread by the online platform of that loser. Eni a na lara nta. Since you choose to believe the fake news purveyor, how are you different from them. I just don't know what people gain from rejoicing at every bad news. But when it's pleasant news, they become really sad. |
LegendHero:They can not show their faces. In fact, they will hide because they're disappointed. They even said the Bola Tinubu that attended Chicago State University was a female. The truth has come out and they will forever hide. Bola Ahmed Tinubu oko Iya gbogbo won 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Chucks13:Bros, you said it all. God will bless you. I wouldn't blame Sen. Dave Umahi, he's not just tough enough. Someone like Wike would not make such a mistake! Whoever has any meaningful projects to deliver in this country should form deaf and dumb till he's done. If not, these haters and losers would not allow him do anything because they'll always pick holes even when they have nothing to offer. |
iwaeda:So, if 1 kilometer costs 7.5billion, 1 meter, by your own calculation will cost 75million. Right? O ti ye mi. |
Ask her the cost of that Benz, I bet she doesn't even know. Not doubting the Benz belongs to her but definitely not from her sweat! |
iceking4:I get your points bro. Then it would have made more sense to everyone if they had come in with the hazard complaints rather than saying he's enslaving them even when fellow colleagues confirmed that he pays them well. That was why people condemned them because it was beginning to look as if they were trying to run his refinery from the back door. In addition, the complaint that he redeployed them out of refinery to sugar and cement simply answers their prayers by moving them out of the hazard zone and should not have even come up if you were only asking for better conditions of service. So, it simply means that the union doesn't really know what they want. |
iceking4:Those that helped him to build, were they not paid for their services? Did they work for free? You claim Nigeria gave him hospitality as if he's a foreigner! I wonder what you would have done if he was a foreigner. If he has not been magnanimous enough by employing Nigerians and paying them well (which has been used to teach him a lesson by their recent behavior), I don't know what else you want him to do. You want to control how he runs his refinery through the back door at all cost? No way. He's actually a very smart investor and the recent events has made him wiser. I am not even a northerner or from his part of the country. But, for crying out loud, Dangote is one of the few people that has brought real industrialization and development to this country and a responsible employer of labour. Yet, all you want is to shut him down! What is bad is bad. Just the disruption caused by that singular act is already telling on Nigerians in terms of availability of cooking gas. Many homes aren't able to cook for their children and families, even those in the business of restaurants and catering services are losing businesses and having it difficult to operate! But that's not a lesson for you. Continue! |
flokii:Why don't you go and meet Dangote, sit him down and show him where he should post his own employees, if that's what you want! I wonder where you were when he was borrowing and raising loans to build his $20 billions refinery. Ingrates abound in this my country. |
There are lots of skyscrapers springing up on the island these days....ikoyi, VI, lekki. The mainland cities like Gbagada, Yaba and Surulere should be getting prepared to witness this in about 5 years from now! By then, many residential buildings in those areas will give way for the development. And Ogun State will benefit more from the spillover. Just that their preparation, in terms of infrastructure, to accommodate all these has not even started. |
