SmartPolician:The only sensible comment here! Many people here assume others are scammers just because many of them are scammers themselves. Truly give the applicants the opportunity to prove their competence by asking them to showcase their antecedents on similar projects. Then, never make any payments upfront. Do commission based business and reward milestones. This will propel them to want to impress you, especially when they know that their earnings is performance based. |
But why is it that people would not mind their business? Someone has lost a child in a motor accident and all you could say is ask the mother if the son did money ritual? If you can not console her or have anything meaningful to say, why not just keep quiet and allow the poor woman mourn in peace? |
Nwaiyoo:Exactly. He was busy gaslighting the guy into thinking he was wicked. He should start a business and give everyone who cares to take on credit and let's see if he will not go bankrupt and close shop in less than one year |
Kosoco:I disagree 💯! Agreement is agreement! This is business and emotions don't run a business. It would be different if he had borrowed the money on a personal ground. Imagine two or three people coming to his shop to do that on a daily basis. How would he restock or pay his bills? The guy should hold the phone till he pays. Next time, he would make a proper arrangement with his client before going to get materials on credit. The man too should go to his client and pull off those stuff if he refuses to pay. Let's learn to do things right. |
Hmmmm...... honestly some people are the real enemies within. The reason Nigeria is not growing as fast as it should is because some people are always plotting it's downfall and some enemies are encouraging them. Imagine the oil workers who have no stake in the Dangote refinery, who are against the existence and also hate the stiff competition the refinery is bringing up, the kind of competition that has killed the incessant landing cost narrative, threatening the only refinery that has put to rest, the consistent fuel crisis we have always experienced and some enemies from within are very happy and even supporting them! Rather than condemn this act, they're happy that crisis is about to erupt and this critical sector of the economy is about to go down so they can have a bad narrative to talk about! They will not succeed! Dangote refinery is not a government agency or parastatal, it's a private business and has a right to employ his own workers on his own terms! The drivers being employed should ensure fair negotiations and conditions of service at the point of interview before taking up the job and they should be at liberty to decide for themselves what they think is fair and good for them. Dangote is a business man in a capitalist economy. The earlier we learn to live with that, the better for all of us. It is now I'm beginning to understand some certain things in this country. We are our own enemies. If Dangote now decides to go employ foreigners to come work as truck drivers, we are the same set of people that will question his motive behind not giving our own indigenous citizens employment on our own land. |
casualobserver:Thank you for this explanation bros. Some people can simply not see beyond their noses. They claim it's a waste of funds and very unnecessary but when the projects are completed, they want to be the first to use it, forgetting they criticized it heavily when they were being put in place. |
merits:I honestly don't understand the basis for comparison here. Comparing Asaba to Lagos is as good as comparing Keke napep to Toyota Land cruiser! The fact that Keke napep is new and well decorated with security apparatus and state of the art gadgets does not bring it close to a tokunbo Land cruiser even with no decorations! I'm sure he was sleeping and dreaming while making the post. |
FreeStuffsNG:You are a very smart guy. Many people don't think along this line. They believe that politics is what you just call people together in one day and tell them you are going to dethrone the incumbent the following day. A retrospective look at this issue reveals the real strategists. Trust me, after the south west, next is north. Imagine this your permutations, you are right on point. Politics is "I will help you to help myself" |
Trust me, if I had that #20m, japa would be the very last thing on my mind. You see this country, with your qualifications, skills, experience and a bit of common business sense, with #20m you will fly. Just invest as a Nigerian, stay financially disciplined and get fully involved in whatever you choose to do, invest wisely. You see that UK or Canada you wanted to go, when it is time, you will go and come back whenever you like, and it will most likely be for either expansion or pleasure with peace of mind. Not to go and hustle or start afresh in the name of living abroad. Let that your friend have a rethink or seek counsel for validation or diverse opinion before she takes action. I wish her the best. |
blacksam01:And what would you have done differently if you were the president? It's not just enough to come here to complain and bring vague analysis even when you have no single clue about what goes on and how to curb it. Milestone achieved, no commendation. Bad news, you spread and condemn. |
helinues:😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Don't mind these people o, they will never learn! An adult with a Smart phone asking such a question on a platform is nothing but sth I know but don't know how to call it😂😂😂😂 |
VladimirTheGrea:Oh I see! He should leave the party he built, right? If you also want to be that popular, why not build your own party and leave it for others just to prove your popularity! Your comment is hateful |
Seefinish:Pls explain the temerity you've got to expel your sponsor. Make in make sense to me. |
Noise everywhere! IMO, I doubt if GEJ would want to contest elections. He's done his bit and he's left the stage. His approach to politics is already cheered and applauded by the majority and that's why he's been seen as the father of peace. Besides, with the way the PDP is constituted today, the odds does not favour him. As for Obi, he's not in any party at the moment despite that elections are 15 months away. How he intends to rush into any party and claim the ticket remains a mirage! His Obidients also are confused because the principal isn't even sure of his own direction. Consider ADC, Atiku hold it tight! Labour Party, they already see him as doing anti-party hobnobbing with ADC even when he refused to renounce membership of LP. PDP, Wike dictates what happens there and PBAT is indirectly being rooted for. As far as I'm concerned, Obi' is floating and GEJ is silent, not even affiliating to the PDP openly. In conclusion, Tinubu remains the most popular candidate for the presidential elections as at today? |
MaziObinnaokija:What about those that would not respect themselves in the public space? |
seunmsg:There is no point advising them to move out because they have not even joined the ADC in the first place. |
Let there be a thorough investigation! It's possible for a driver to accept a package without knowing the content but it's not possible that he would not have the phone number of the sender and the recipient. What kind of business is he doing if he could just accept a package blindly without contacts? Was he not paid for the delivery? If the package has got lost in transit, would he not have identified the owners when they come calling for it? |
DrFunmisticGlow:Now i see what you mean. The reason I snapped initially was because I see Gov. Hope as one of the governors making a difference in the South Eastern States, especially when it comes to infrastructure, but his people have never said anything good about him. I was in Imo state sometime in May and i marveled at the changes i witnessed compared to what I used to know. Then I started to wonder why his people do not have good things to say about him.. The bottomline, to me, is that now that the federal government has empowered all the governors and the local government chairmen, they should look inwards and decide on what they can do to make this needed difference in the domain so that development can go round. None of them has any excuse for non performance now. |
Kobojunkie:Do yourself a favour by getting the law report detailing the referenced judgement. The judges would not just pass a judgement without an extensive details and references to the part of the law or constitution that supports it. You will even learn more beyond what you envisaged . |
This is very right. An elderly person is supposed to know better, not even after he was made to understand the reason for the switch. As a matter of fact, threatening to slap an air hostess aboard an aircraft in itself should be seen as a crime because he has constituted a threat to the air hostess and his fellow passengers including the aircraft itself. If he had gone ahead to slap the air hostess and out of annoyance he got an equal response, some people would have blamed the air hostess absolving the elderly man who chose to disrespect himself in the public glare. Even if people lack manners, the moment they get to a public space, they should comport and respect themselves. Otherwise, they will have the law to contend with. |
Honestly, all the Igbos I know always bash this man. Meanwhile, the last time I went to Imo, I saw all the works this governor has done and still doing and I was forced to ask exactly why they hate the man so much. Trust me, as someone from another region I became so ashamed of his critics. I have no personal affiliation with any of these politicians but any politician that performs beyond expectations will always be my man. Look at Tinubu, Nyesom Wike, Dave Umahi, Sanwoolu, Seyi Makinde, Tunji Ojo as well as this Imo state governor. They're are working wonders and we need more of their types in Nigerian politics. Not sentimental placeholders that have nothing to offer. |
DrFunmisticGlow:How is that your headache? Are you a medical doctor? A governor has done an upward review of minimum wage in his state and rather than commend the governor, you're here blabbing "is it before or after tax"! During tax ni😂😂😂 all the enemies of good news will have their own share of what they pray for! |
helinues:I like this reminder! As it stands, even as at today, I'm yet to see any viable opposition capable of unseating Jagaban. Wike the lion of the FCT is fully on ground to call the shots and dictates what happens in the PDP. Add that to the APC unopposed mantra. Leave the maths for the oppositions to solve. Tinubu till 2031. |
destinychildolu:Just listen to yourself...."her salary is just small"! Abeg how much is your own salary Tell the world here let's hear! A star is being signed up in such a powerful club and you just can't be happy for her? Na wa for you o. Take it or leave, that girl is going places and her horizon is just wide open. |
ZaraArewa:Sis, it is better you take a decision NOW! There's nothing wrong in liking sex but everything is wrong with a guy's unwillingness to commit himself to a relationship. This is a big signal and if you don't decide on time, you may later regret it (God forbid). Sign off now. If he comes back to do the needful, you can continue with him. Anything short of that, if you continue to stay, it only means that you are just there enjoying the sex while it lasts because it will not lead anywhere. Note: seek further counsel for validation or diverse opinion before you act. All the best! |
Pascal9:Guy, God will bless you for this comment. Some people are just too bitter to think clearly and see the difference for themselves. Let's just allow Tinubu complete all these projects and then at the end of his tenure we appraise him by checking the differences between his administration and those of the past presidents. Tinubu till 2031! |
TimeManager:Na wa o, some people here even have the temerity to counter your comment even when they lack the facts and intellectual capacity to do some simple analysis on their own. Dangote today is the only guy with refinery but the removal of subsidy has whipped up some stiff competition, thereby forcing down prices. How many of them have queued up at the filling station for 30mins since Tinubu took over two years ago? The independent marketers today do their business arithmetic to know whether to buy from Dangote or to import. As a result, even Dangote can not increase prices anyhow because he knows they will go abroad to buy. Besides, all the money for subsidy was going into private pockets but he stopped subsidy and channeled that money into meaningful infrastructural projects all across the country, providing education loans to students, many of whom would have lost the opportunity to get tertiary education, to mention just a few. Although, some people always claim that they have not seen anything done by this government. I don't blame them tho, they're yet to recover from election loss two years after. Abeg, whoever wants to cry is free to cry as much as he wishes. Subsidy is gone and all of us will adjust to the new realities. |
Bendeco02:You've obviously been out of this country for some years and never bothered to know anything about the civil service and the minimum wage matters before posting a comment. |
Trust me, I give up on some people. Over time, they've shown time and again that they are the ingrates, very ungrateful people I've seen for the very first time! A governor has built a general hospital in a hinterland and all you could say is that it's old-fashioned, the structure is this, the environment is that! Ha! If he does nothing, you would say he hasn't done anything. Now he's doing, rather than appreciate this, commend him and them make further and specific requests politely, No way! All you could do is condemn! No problem, Soludo should continue performing because posterity will be kind to him. It's the same reason Tinubu never listened to them even when they occasionally have important message to pass across. Too petty and unserious set of people! |
