This is fraud in human form. I will be very surprised to see up to 50% of his congregation still worshipping in his church after this episode. |
apelikirk:They must have been told the modality of the repayment but since they wouldn't take honourable path of paying back on their own, the government then needed to do the needful. |
When these people were getting this covid loans, none of them shared this information. Most of us only got to know when their accounts were debited since they never intended to pay back. So what do you now want us to do about this? |
kpankpangolo:😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Like say you know. Time no dey abeg😂😂 |
Khallicopyro:Good question. This is a testament to the fact that gone are the days when you graduate and the next thing you just want to engage based on your field. It doesn't work like that any longer. Your ability to look at the trending and emerging technology that relates to that your field is what now matters. Nothing stops mass comm and journalism graduates from learning how to use the AI to turn out impressive news and contents as is already in vogue. It can be scary tho but if you do your research very well, you will discover that this AI of a thing is more or a blessing in disguise because it modifies your output and enables you write like a pro. |
Sirmwill:Will he remain young forever? |
Firebox123:@20k per head monthly (feeding, clothing, toiletries, medicals, education...and many more! I pray God opens your eyes to see the implications of what you have done so you will be able to stop childbearing and focus on generating more income, empowering your wife to contribute financially to the family fortune and concentrate on giving the seven children sound education. |
franugo:Bro, that's a very good review of professor Sandra Duru's claims there but a crucial part where her evidence (recorded conversation) was mentioned was left out. Why? Also left out was Natasha's part of the story where she made an allegation but unable to produce an evidence of her allegations. Why? I don't want to believe this is deliberate! Your review has to be balanced for us to know you are not writing based on sentiments or emotions. I've not said any of them is right or wrong but a balanced review and presentation of proofs will do Justice to this matter without biases. Peace! |
ogaemma:Well said bro. Also remember that the decision to sue or not to sue depends solely on the person. Also know that as a public figure and a politician who has held many political offices from governor to NDDC, minister and now president of the Senate, he must have experienced countless hateful allegations and he can't be in court for every one of them. Natasha that has gone to court should be the one providing evidence so Akpabio can be invited. |
Honestly, I don't know how to classify many of our people. I am not a fan of the Senate President Akpabio, Senator Natasha or Professor Sandra. However, we all know that in a law court, judgement is based on facts and evidence, not sentiment or emotions. Many of those supporting Senator Natasha are doing it because she's from their region, because they hate anyone seen as a member or tool in President Tinubu government or their hate for the Senate President Godswill Akpabio. You have accused someone of sexual harassment/misconduct, fine. Produce evidence so the accused will have a basis to defend himself. Talk is cheap and anyone can go to any length to come up with any allegation at anytime just to tanish one's image, bring one down or do a dirty job for an enemy (on contract). The accuser's claim can only be validated or considered for a debate when a proof is provided. Anything short of that is mere entertainment. I saw a bit of professor Sandra Duru's video and even if she's telling lies, she, at least, has recorded phone conversations to back up her claims, and I'm sure, forensic analysis of the conversation can be authenticated with some technology, if the voice is truly that of herself and Natasha's. And another thing that surprised me was her allegation against Reno Omokri (which is, allegedly, now deleted) where senator Natasha accused him of sexual harassment at a political function and the date she claimed it happened coincidentally fell on a period Reno was not in the country, and he backed it up with exit and entry stamp of the immigration officials covering that period. In a nutshell, you are free to accuse someone, bring your evidence and let the authorities analyze it so it can be handled appropriately. Sentiment and emotions have no place in law. Peace! |
id4sho:Na lie! I want to believe even the North is, by now, liking him due to his performance as the minister of the FCT. He's the first southerner to have gotten that position and and what he has achieved in just 2 years is unprecedented. So I expect that the North will give him support as a VP and trust me, the moment he is able to clinch that, just know that the very next dispensation will be his turn as the southern slot. |
racerve:With the way he's going, he'll decamp to APC after the next general election. I want to believe he's still in PDP for a reason. |
Chai! The alleged best performing government in the South East! Why na? |
I see Wike deputizing for the next Northern president and ultimately becoming the next president after the northern tenure. |
yarimo:Yes, you can say that again. |
kokoA:Of course he read it but just doesn't have the intellectual capacity to understand it. So, it's not his fault. |
ledaman:He did not even wait to finish the first 4 years! |
TallNigerian:i seriously doubt this. Trust is like a glass. Once broken........! |
LegendHero:😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 |
Maxymilliano:Are you in this country at all? |
Na wa o.... i have nothing to say. If you think that's the best you can do, so be it. |
erico2k2:Of course, no one does. It appears you're a landlord. I pray you never encounter a situation that will make you look for an accomodation within a short time frame. Imagine the house you live in has been sold by the owners and all you see is the quit notice from the new owners saying you have just 6 months rent-free to live in that house because they need to take possession or the government doing road expansion and your house is affected. What do you do in that circumstance? You first look for the money - rent, agreement, commission, caution (except you're that wealthy to just raise a good amount of money within days or weeks). Secondly, remember that finding a good accomodation in Lagos is not automatic! You will have to inspect many houses and these fools called agents will even take you to houses they can not even put their own dogs to live in just because they want to collect inspection/movement fee from you! Some houses will be very good but the environment awful while some will be in good locations but very small. Different issues! Many tenants in Lagos today live in houses that they can't ever dream of staying even if they're in Ibadan here! So, bros forget, people eye dey see things from these landlords and their estate agents. |

No! You can't even blame the husband. If you go to board an aircraft at the airport, do you start asking the pilot if he has enough fuel that would take you to your destination? Doctors who intended to carry out surgical operation just entered the theater and opened up somebody without thinking of making preparations for the surgery? You just would not understand and I don't pray the situation ever repeats itself. Even the operations that had everything in place and were successful are always supported with fervent prayers and anxiety from the relatives of the patient. If you have ever had to take a close relative to the hospital for a surgery, you would understand exactly what I'm talking about. God will help us in this country. |
I've seen some people blaming president Tinubu for this failure of a complete system. To an extent, it's is true because the buck stops at his table! But why do we like to heap every blame on the government? Are we saying Tinubu should have come to that hospital from the Villa to tell them to always ensure proper power backup whenever critical activity such as surgery is to take place? What happens to rules and procedures? What is the role of the CMD? The hospital has internal auditor and all of them get paid at the end of the month but the very little things they're supposed to do, they will not do! The hospital management and the incompetent doctors entering the theater without ensuring every box is ticked killed that woman and they should all be investigated and sanctioned appropriately if found culpable. Who does that? What exactly is the value of human lives to them in that hospital that they would take such risk that places human life on the line? Besides, the hospital is not running charity and whatever income they generate, I think the ones that save human lives (for which they exist) should be taken care of first before any other expenses. Na wa o! |
erico2k2:Yes I agree, things are now expensive! .. and any tenant who is suspected to have damaged the property intentionally should be made to face the legal consequences. You don't expect me to park out of your house as a tenant and start damaging ceilings, sink and the rest, what for? However, in this Lagos, only 15% of landlords give you an apartment in good condition except it's a new house that has just been completed. Many of them never even bother to inspect the place the moment a tenant leaves because they're just eager to rent out the place for another round of caution fee, agreement and commission. Now, it's the new tenant that will come in fixing electricals, cabinets, painting, even louvers and the rest just to make the place comfortable for him to live in. So, to me, for the landlord to collect all those monies, he should have it at the back of his mind that he'll fix stuffs in his property once in a while and that's the money he has collected. |
I'm not in support of what the tenant did because that's wicked! However, I think the landlord got well served. Trust me, a landlord that has the mind to collect 250k as caution fee must have collected close to a million Naira if you total the caution with agreement and commission ALONE! Do the maths. Caution - 250k commission 300k, agreement 300k. That alone is 850k before you now talk of the rent. I got into an argument with one agent one day and was questioning the essence of caution fee and asking if it would be returned when leaving the apartment. The idiot told me that, yes, that's what they say but everyone knows that no landlord would refund any caution fee because even if you hit a single nail on any part of the wall for as little as fixing a defective electrical socket, you already damaged something and whatsoever you paid for damages has gone on that account! He said, "why are you surprised, that's how we collect it and everybody knows". Do you even know that landlords are the ones collecting everything (rent, caution, agreement and commission)? They will only give the agent a fraction! So, greedy landlords deserve the wicked tenants they get most times! |
It's not her fault. She just doesn't have the capability to lead. Rather than concentrate on her mandate, she was busy making enemies and de-marketing her root. In the first place, nobody asked her stories about her country before she started painting Nigeria black. The whites do not waste time. Once their objective analysis of your performance shows a declining trend over time and a reawakening will not be promising, they will have no option than to replace you. In a nutshell, her time on the leadership seat of her party is up. The next time she has such an opportunity, she will learn to face her mandate and desist from delving into matters that has no impact on what is supposed to be her top priorities. Peace! |
nairavsdollars:You forgot to also count Rivers, Akwa Ibom (SP's state) and Cross River! PBAT na man! |
franchasng:I think those forming coalition have no business wasting their time, money and energy for now. You want the coalition presidential ticket dashed to Peter Obi on a platter of gold, yet, he is, till today, looking at them from afar and neither participating nor showing any interest! Does he want to join only when the entire groundwork has been concluded and enough momentum gathered only to come and say they are supposed to give him the ticket? Atiku and El-Rufai that are going around canvassing for people to join, do you think they're doing it just for them to later dash the ticket to Peter Obi after he must have finished labouring to gather momentum? Stay there! The planning and ground work for the contest of a presidential position is not something you do in two years! Even the coalition starting now is almost late. So, to me, the opposition parties are not yet ready. Even when they claim to be, they must field people who have achieved and done things that have impacted their people and state positively, infrastructures built, development steps and people groomed and made great by their benevolence, especially those whose record have beaten Jagaban's achievements at the state level when they last held political offices and not even think of empty campaigns with no tangible antecedents. And with these, we will go to Adamawa to see Atiku's impact in his state, Kaduna to see El-Rufai's impact in his state when he was governor and Anambra to see Obi's impact when he was governor in his state. And show the people with proofs. Anything short of this will end the usual way because even 'almost, does not kill a bird '. Peace! |
shortgun:Dey play 😂😂. The same PO was in APGA and swore never to leave but left for PDP and today he's in Labour! His ideologies were not in conflict with that of PDP when he joined? Are you even aware that PDP is more of an extension of APC because many of PDP members and leaders today are those who left the APC when their interests were not served and those who decamped to PDP from the APC at the time the PDP held away as the ruling party? Why do you think PO joined LP in the first place? So, never say never! |
SeeWahala:....and to you, the that makes it right? Smh! |
Vinnie2000: Governors Decamping to APC does not necessarily guarantee votes for tinibu in the next election."Like seriously? All those governors the campaign to APC with massive support base, where do you think all those supporters are going with them? the APC of course! Anyway, I don't expect people to understand! |
