Wike, the man of the moment. Whosoever says you are a media maniac should tell their own state governors to perform like you do and showcase the achievements for the world through the same media. I just wonder why people hate to celebrate performance. Call it whatever, Wike is working. Peace! |
With all the noise going on here, a good number of the people and/or Nairalanders are not even aware that politics is a thing of personal interest... not even integrity or public analysts perspectives. No politician will go all out there risking his life and everything he's got because he wants to make life better for you (the masses). He considers himself and his family/generation first. This is the reason you would see some politicians raining curses on a particular political party and in future you see them joining that same party they have always called evil. For me, I wouldn't be surprised if Peter Obi joins APC tomorrow or even Atiku turning around to join the same party, provided the party can promise them a juicy post after elections. That said, you don't change the winning formula! |
Tjra:I agree 💯 |
chidiokay:That's because none of the constituents has called her attention to that for her to see everything wrong with what she's doing! A guy from that state once told me here on this same platform that Natasha is the best performing senator from kogi state because she shares rice for them every time. I just looked at him and shook my head. That obviously tells you how some people reason. For me I would not appreciate that. I would rather prefer that she runs some empowerment program for the indigenous so that they can make their money by themselves. You see all this palliative rice is a no no for me |
martinmiller:Don't blame Natasha, she already discovered that what some of his constituents want to see is that rice and she's giving to them exactly what they appreciate. |
As much as I appreciate the fact that she remembers her constituents at a time like this, this is not what is needed by the constituents. Truly she has tried because she has spent some millions. However, I am sure that more than 10,000 households will share the 600 bags of rice. Do the maths! You will discover that one household can not get up to one paint of rice and you call that one a constituency Project! What happens to running some empowerment program and allow people generate their own funds by themselves. I think she needs to have a rethink on this. I am not from kogi but I do not appreciate such palliative because it doesn't take anybody anywhere. Peace! |
Carndidlaydid:It is necessary to always check your bank balance and confirm that the money actually drops in your account before releasing goods. If anyone sends you a fake alert, you will get the notification but it's fake. But any money that drops in your bank account can not be reversed without your consent! Let's be wise! |
SapaProMax:Hmmm..... this is what many don't know! In Africa, and here in Nigeria, anything you can't afford, you don't own! In fact, the moment you clock 55 or 60, no financial institution will consider you for any loan. One of the pros of this is that it takes the pressure of debt off you in your old age. However, in the western world, you can own practically anything you so desire and it will be released to you for your use, provided you are working BUT with one stringent condition, payment for that property will be made for the rest of your life... and that's why you would see a man of 77 still doing Uber at that hour of the night! May God rest his soul! |
Seun:I appreciate you on this. I love Nairaland so much due to its educative contents, timely information and a lot of other valuable stuff. However, this issue of toxicity must be given top priority if this platform must be sanitized. Anyone found wanting in posting bad comments or insulting content of any form should be banned outright (probably for a minimum of 6 months). Hopefully, that would deter others. This is because I find it funny most times when you air your opinion on certain issues, rather than provide a different perspective or correct your impression if you're wrong, the next is aggressive insults and the likes. Well done Mr. Seun. Keep tweaking the bot, you will get there. 👍 |
Not surprised! |
abysirius:This is Wike, not Obi! |
Love800:No be lie😂😂😂😂 |
The funniest thing is that they will all do these investments secretly because they don't want you to know where their money is coming from. Something you don't know about I will do even advise them against it? But the moment it crashes, that is the day you would hear the amount of money they all lost to the scheme. I'm sorry but I don't have any pity for them because they are supposed to have learned but never! Thank God your own money is not much, it's just $200. Forget about that and move on with your life. |
I don't think people should jump into a conclusion that an attack is being planned just because of massive movements of cows in the night. Years ago I have witnessed this in Akute, Ogun State where I once lived.. and up till today, there has never been any incidence of herdsmen attack either in Akute or neighbouring Lagos State. Besides I'm sure there will be no space for them to move in the daytime except they are transported by trailers. We need to be positive minded at all times while being vigilant at the same time. Peace! |
rinzaugustine:I don't give your type the honour of a response because any little information you lack and it's pointed out, you already resorted to insults and aggression. I don't blame you tho, it's in your DNA. Next time, if you lack the manner and discipline to communicate without being foolishly insulting, it is better you keep quiet rather than come online to exhibit your stupidity |
rinzaugustine:Sit down there and not look for the pictures yourself if that's what you need. But no, you would just sit in one place and be asking for pictures and shouting propaganda upandan. Those that have been to Lagos section which started in less than a year are already giving kudos and not just knocks just like your type. |
zero8zero:Gbam! |
VnAhunnaPl:Fact! |
Trust me, I read almost all the comments here and realized that we're are not just serious at the part of the divide. Forget the government and connections, I blame this guy 💯. You finished a BSC and proceeded to obtaining your M.Sc, yet you sat down there, stuck on cleaning job, believing that since you are not connected to one politician or the other, all hope is lost! Why did you even make an attempt to go to school up to the PhD level when you know you're comfortable in your comfort zone? Or must you work in EBSU? Just sit there and not make any move, just believe that someone would just wake up one day and employ you into a juicy position! Rather than encourage the guy to make some moves while staying abreast of useful and beneficial information that could better his life, people keep claiming it's because he knows nobody. Do you also need to have connections before you use the Internet and AI to your advantage? Dey play and allow people deceive you that you can't do anything unless you have the connection. A word, they say, is enough for the wise...... |
Guestmale:I dare him to answer these questions but I trust he wouldn't...to avoid sounding like what I don't know. |
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Some people are pained😂😂😂😂 |
For me, the drama is not even between Tinubu and Obi playing the opposition! The real drama is between their online supporters and I just enjoy the back and forth 😂😂😂. I wonder the kind of a new narrative people would ordinarily want to hear from this kind of an interview and I would be so surprised if anyone would have expected otherwise. We know how politics and opposition is played. So, people, enjoy your day. As for me, I'm here just for supporters entertainment. |
Xannadu:You are right on point. |
I've always clamoured for this! |
Obakoolex:Gbam! |
Babatindan:I agree with you 💯 |
Racoon:You need to quote the source of your information for us to take you seriously. |
So, because Dangote crashed prices, the landing cost suddenly crashed to 797 for no reason and we were not even told. But now that Dangote is complaining of not being able to buy in Naira again, these marketers have suddenly woken up to whip up the narrative of landing cost tilting towards 900 in less than a week. These marketers are the real culprits. If importing is not profitable to them, why not buy locally and serve their customers in peace rather than disturbing us with landing cost or no landing cost? Should every sector players also come out in the public to publish how much they import their goods and stuff like that? The moment they start coming out to say this, we already know that they are up to some artificial scarcity and subsequent price increase in a few days or weeks. Pls nobody should disturb us with the details of their business. Let everyone do his business the best way possible to them. After all, it's a free market! |
PassingShot:No! A state road linking major places and built by a state governor should be made a double lane. According to the post, the road serves as a viable alternative for people traveling to Owerri (Imo State), which makes it a major road that leads out of town. Abeg this is 2025! It's not nice! |
2special:Guy, see, I'm not a fan of Natasha but I always celebrate those who do this kind of thing. Nobody expects any politician to do things that favours his/her people with their personal money. The bottom line is that she's doing what she's expected to do with the funds meant for that. If a politician performs, let's celebrate her achievements. Whether you like her as a person or not is another thing entirely |
I am sure everyone is enjoying the peace in Rivers now. The noise was just too much. We'll do this, we'll do that, if this happens, heaven will fall..bla bla bla. Even those that were supposed to be peace makers and those less concerned by the crisis in the state were just busy fueling the crisis by their utterances..... ...and someone will stand somewhere to say the SoE was not needed! If there's no SoE, by now, only God knows the magnitude of chaos that would have befallen the state since bombings have resumed just to prove a point! I know that this period of 6 months is enough for the parties involved to come together and reach a compromise so that peace can continue to reign and the government can be returned to the elected officials as it should be. God bless Pbat for this timely intervention. Peace! |
