naptu2:Bro abeg, that guy's comment deserves no response. Some people will never see anything good in whatever the government is doing. I'm sure he's bitter because he lacks such good things in his own state. I'm not a Lagosian but we must appreciate good things while we encourage them to do more. By the way, this is for us.. not even for the people in government. Is it Sanwo-Olu that'll make use of the train or Tinubu? People should learn to keep quiet if they can not see anything good in whatever others are doing. |
Wike my main man. This is arguably the best administration so far. Whosoever does not like development is free to relocate! Let the development continues. I hope and pray the next administration will continue the development and infrastructure drive after PBAT.... and should be replicated across the country. Truly we might not be there economically yet but the saying goes....every step in the right direction inches you closer to your goal! God bless Wike God bless PBAT God bless Nigeria. |
Holluwhakemmy:That's fraudulent. If the arms of the law catches up with him, he'll start crying foul, claiming the security agents are wicked. Don't worry, karma is a bitch. Count your loses and move on! |
Earthquakes:You care to know so I will tell you. I have a thriving business I've been running for over 5 years and counting...and I never for once, engaged in all those nonsense practices. If after all these, you believe arm twisting people in the name of business is still your calling, good luck to you. But remember that, one day monkey go go market, he no go return. A word, they say....... |
donleo92:Leave that calculation for the seller to make and decide how much he wants to sell according to the forces of demand and supply. Stop making innocent Lagosians suffer by dictating how much they should sell just because of the money you want to collect from them. It's very wrong. The monarch has done very well and this should be replicated in all Nigerian markets. |
Cajal:This is a fact! |
simonhabby:How many minutes does it take to wait for a train in your state? |
shivisee:Bros, don't bother comparing, they're two different personalities. One is born politician while the other is a prof and a former governor of CBN. The difference says a whole lot! |
Holluwhakemmy:When you could easily tell the recipient to transfer the excess back to you |
Rubyjade:I laugh in Swahili...even while I celebrate his degree of dumbness. Congratulations to him and his pastor |
Earthquakes:...and you must be a member of an association to do your poultry business? Nobody is asking you to produce at a loss but be reasonable and sell at a price profitable to you...not just because of one association that has given you an instruction to arm-twist people in the name of business. To me, what the Oba has done is appropriate. |
Babalegba:God will bless you for this! Some educated illiterates are busy bashing the Oba for what he did in the interest of the populace...and these same people will be blaming the government for food inflation. Smh! |
By the way, is marriage by force? Why not walk away if you can no longer cope rather than come make a fool of yourself in the public. When you decided to do that at the nation's international airport, what exactly were you thinking? Smh |
So, we should clap for you, right? Well done. But pray that you son has a wife who does all this to him in future. If only you can say 'Amen' to that. |
Don't blame the guy. Before he packed in, he paid rent, agreement, commission with damages that has no meaning. Ask these landlords the essence of damages and they tell you that they know you can not leave the house the exact way they gave it to you... They tell you it is refundable but they never refund it. One even told me that the moment you hit a nail on the wall either to fix a calendar or to fix an electrical fault, it means you have damaged something...and you would not be qualified for any refunds. Besides, the landlord should have reimbursed him for the tiles he fixed, if he wanted him to leave it when leaving. The truth remains that the tiles added value to the property and therefore deserves some compensation. |
OneCandleAway:Well, let me not just talk. But the believers should continue believing. I can only laugh |
Amuluonyenaego:odds are slim |
@Tjra, pls you don't have to discourage him. Tho I know it is not possible to become a lagosian legally, it is a nice thing to know that someone appreciates good thing when he sees one and not just some people who just blindly critize good thing just because they don't like the person in the position of authority. It is actually true that in some states, members of the cabinet work from either Lagos or Abuja and only breeze in whenever they like. Meanwhile, this is partially because they have not been able to make the state comfortable for themselves to L:ive in let alone the people they Lead. God Bless Lagos,. God Bless Nigeria. Tjra: |
It is just unfortunate that a lot of people (including the educated illiterates) are only interested in hearing what they like to hear, which, often times, is a way to just discredit the current administration. I do criticize too, but objectively, and I don't do that until I have gotten information, analyzed the entire situation and got to know the reason behind some moves. Not just when someone has told me crap and expect me to just jump on it. Let us always try to get information before even commenting. The fact that you don't like or agree with someone's ideology does not mean you should discredit his effort, provided it is for a greater good of the populace and the nation. Let's be guided and not just follow the crowd blindly. i rise!! |
Ttalk:you can say that again. However, note that you can not force some people to see what they are not willing to see just because of the hatred. |
It still doesnt take away the fact that it would spur development in the grassroot. This is because the citizens have better relationship with their leaders at the grassroot level and it would be easier to call them to account or get them reported (if they are not ready to perform after the information of the allocation received gets to the public domain). Unlike the bureaucracies of getting to see or complain to the president. For instance, President Tinubu will not come from Abuja to see to infrastructural development in your village. It is the duty of the local government chairman who is probably closer to the people. Kobojunkie: |
You are very correct. However, don't forget that, in politics, loyalty will still play out so as to be in the good books of the movers and shakers right from the top. Therefore, the fed. govt can decide not to get involved but one way or the other, homage will, most likely, be paid. trust us! Ebigwei007: |
smh. I just smiled because that one is beyond redemption. Rubyjade: |
anything that will bring increase in power generation and distribution is a welcome development. Sometime soo, we will achieve 24 hour electricity just like our counterparts in other countries. There will always be room for development. At least, for now, those on Band A can testify to consistently stable power supply. Yes, it's more expensive but if you are on prepaid meter, you can actually plan your bills while you make maximum use of it. It's much better than when you are given estimated bills for the light you did not use. This is one area I want the government to look into. |
and i am sure only your household had 24hr electric at that point in time, right? i have no comment, you are doing well. MasterJayJay: |
Heavensake1:Before nko? There's no free lunch anywhere... not even in Freetown. I'm western countries where people get education on loan, they're made to pay back double of what they borrowed. But the fact remains that "my parents couldn't afford it" is no longer an excuse..and efforts towards realizing dreams will no longer be truncated by paucity of funds. Another laudable one from PBAT. |
mrksquare:Let the competition continue. It's better for us all and the generation yet unborn |
This present administration will go down in history as the best administration that has brought development in major areas in the entire history of Nigeria. This is just one year and all these have happened! One can truly not be an all round performer but trust me, if we can replicate these strength in 8years, he will leave the country much better than he met it. Imagine if the previous administrations have been doing sth similar, Nigeria would be, at least, better than South Africa by today. Let's appreciate good things while we also continue to condemn the bad ones. There will always be room for improvement. I see Wike becoming president someday. |
I'm in full support of the importation of the commodity... probably in the interim until the local refiners could prove that entrusting the production and supply of energy is truly worth and they will not take advantage of the monopoly to hold us to ransome. Competition, for me, is health and keeps every industry player on his toes. Therefore, let the challenge begin! |
Honestly I don't know what to call this because it's beyond gullibility! Men can't be so manipulated because since they are providers, they're are more calculative and their sense of discernment is always at par, thereby digesting every utterances of their pastors, internalizing the good ones and discarding all the ones with the appearances of fraud in the instant. Tell me how you want to convince a married man, who has the responsibility of caring for his nuclear and extended family to be in church for a (so called) special program on a Tuesday (when he should be out there slugging it out or thinking of how to make money for his household) or to tell him to bring his entire income for the month of January to the church in the name of first fruit? ....even when he has school fees, rent, feeding, medical among many other things to take care of? Ladies and women, wake up na, wake up! A word, they say, is enough! I rise! |
Now, the only way I will endorse the sincerity of the labour leaders is if and when they go into states to also fight for their counterparts to ensure all the states and local government employees get the new minimum wage. But if they go back and relax just because the president has moved that of federal workers to 70k and now feel unbothered about the state workers and even the private sector, then I don't know what to call that. It also means the solidarity they have enjoy has been meaningless! I rise. |
Elupeeeee..... you're doing well!😂😂😂😂 |
