Hmmm, an adage in yoruba says "eni ija o ba lo n pe ara e lokunrin" meaning, you can easily run your mouth in giving advise to someone over issues you have never experienced! I read thru all the comments and only a few made sense. Pls, this is a serious marital issue. So, if u re not married, don't comment at all because your comments will be inappropriate. Op, I've experienced something similar and my advise is this: 1. Invite your wife to a private place and have an extensive discussion with her. 2. The presence and inputs of a third-party especially inlaws, most of the time, causes instability in ones marriage. Therefore, your sister inlaw and mother inlaw have to be cut off for a long time. 3. Try as much as possible to pay off your debt but never dispose your car or truck paying d debt. This is because u need something to keep u going pending when things will normalize. 4. Accept your wife back to the house but insist on using a cab to bring back her stuffs. 5. Involve her church pastor to counsel her because women generally only listen to their church pastor even against d wish of d husband most times. 6. It is obvious u still love your wife and your wife also misses u, so, salvage d situation and stop listening to all those advocates of divorce. When mine happened, my wife even went away with my son, all my own gadgets and home appliances after she packed her own load to an unknown place and went to stay with her sister in her husbands house while I travelled and not even my father inlaw could talk to her but we thank God today everything is back to normal. In no distant time, the comfortability she enjoys in her sisters house Will wean out because she stays in her husband house and no right thinking husband will retain a wife's sister that's already married. Hmm, young lady, I could feel your pain. At first u need to know this is one of d ups and downs of marriage. Back to your story, I have to be very honest with u. I'm married and I understand u perfectly. U must have either done something wrong or u have developed a character he dislikes and which never reflected during your courtship. If u can't trace where you have gone wrong, your best bet is to sit him down and ask him what u did. If u allow it get out of hand before u act, might not like d outcome because unless u change or apologize to him, it will get more complicated and I pray u don't regret it. Just a word for d wise. |

Professionals in the house, how long does it take to process a C of O in Lagos for a plot of land in ikorodu and the estimated cost. There's this land I intend to buy in Adamo area of ikorodu and I know I can't afford to build almost immediately. So, I intend to still buy but process the C of O. Hmm, not a bad advice bro, very good. ...as in...callin d lady aside to ask her questions and get to kno why she does all that. I wud av supported him if d change was not given after he paid 120naira per litre of fuel and he chose to stop d guy from further sales till d change is provided. Hmmm, dillema indeed. Gentleman, i'll suggest u read thru the various advises u get b4 taking any step. However, you must never ignore the followings: 1. Someone who is not yet married can not advise u appropriately in matters of marriage or choice of partner because he hasn't been told. 2. Marriage is referred to as an institution. Pls take time to analyse what it means and entails. 3. You are both coming form different backgrounds. So, why on earth are you contemplating a partner tailor made for you. "perfect marriage exists only in heaven" 4. Talk of the age gap! The question is "do you want her? Is she of a character good enof to be called ur wife? Does she respect u? Does she take corrections? Does she care? Do u consider her a good mother for your kids? If the response to all these ques are in the affirmative, the why do u still see the 3yrs age difference? 5. Remeber point 2 above. It then remains your job to to the patchin and mending and not attempt to change her completely becos u may never achieve total change. Finally, I am not tryin to make u marry her or not. But if you miss her, of course you will always see babes but definitely not with same character and attributes. If you finally consider to marry her, you should not see yourself as her God or boss, see her as your partner and treat her as such. Thats the only way to go. I wish you luck. |

Serious advice from matured minds needed pls. There is this lady i admire so much in my office. I am there their manager and an assistant was recently employed to assist me. Now, I have been asking this lady out for quite some time and she's been refusing and giving me excuses. Though, she never gave me an outright NO. two days ago, this same lady requested for the new assistan's phone number and i gave her the official line. To my surprise, she made an anonymous call to him that night, asking him how his day was, telling him she just wanted to hear his voice before she slept. I had at one point used tha same (official) line for a couple of days before i handed it over to the guy. So, yesterday, he called me to tell me since he thought the call belonged to me. This morning again, this same guy showed me a message on his phone, saying she just wanted to say Hi and reach him. the message came at about 2.30am and he has been calling the phone number but she would not pick. Could anyone tell me what it going on here pls? Although, i had to delete this girl's number from my phone and I have moved on but the guy bringing this message to me is making me furious. could anyone advise me pls. |
