Precisely.

And BTW, Okija juju = Ndu Chuks= onye hausa/fulani
Onlytruth:
This is big, because this woman has international connections. For she to openly admit her role in Biafra, and that of her father, is a form of statement. More people will do the same.
Each time this happens, one more nail goes into the coffins of the Okija_jujus of the North.  wink  cool

Enough new IDs in this thread all claiming to have something to do with Ndigbo, nothing to say to them. I'd advice all true Ndigbo to ignore them.
Mourning mode still on.

Many people dont understand that the poverty figures are not just statistics peddled around, it is a REALITY!.

They are only hit by the reality when they leave their immediate environment, sometimes through NYSC posting, most likely away from their region to remote areas in other regions, then they make a fallacy by saying poverty is in that particular region unlike theirs.

Let me help those with those suffering from that kind of error of reasoning, the poverty you see in that region away from yours is VERY PRESENT in yours, if only you look well enough at the right place. BELIEVE ME ON THIS.

The question you should ask yourself is how much of my state do i know? not just your urban localities, do you have a good knowlede of your rural localities? The moment you start to answer these questions objectively, the better you overcome your self induced fallacy.
Please tell them, awon alakori.

Good to know you're making it and made the right decision but hope this wouldn't discourage other would-be doctors
Practice is cool if you know what you're doing. To the best of my knowledge this is the only profession in Nigeria with almost 0% unemployment rate

Politics › Re: Budget: North Rejects Southsouth’s Vote On Revenue Formula by Yeske2(m): 6:24pm On Feb 28, 2012
sheyguy:
Mr. Yeske, Point of correction pls: the SS neva agree to share nada with anyone. The oil producing regions were effectively slice into two before and during the war and one oil-region used to conquer the other. The SS av no 'political muscle of their own' and av to resort to this hide and seek method of eating their own cake. Those who shld be ashamed here are the southerner. Every region in Nigeria has during one time in our history as Nigeria benefitted from other region. The way forward will now depend on how do we check the north from maneuvering the constitution always and start making our impact felt. In the article of OP, the north is divided into three but they appear to be speaking with one voice without mentioning any names. How did they manage to unite and and split the south so effectively?
They are united because they can afford to do away with the little differences they have and consolidate on their commön denominator. The ultimate goal for every southern Nigeria group shld be how to unite and av a say in the 'real affairs of the country that dictates every other affairs': the constitution.
I agree with you on this anyway, well said.
