intrepid:
@abbey621. I'm wit you 100%.what most of our ppl here on NL pretend not to understand is that the US and Europe and other countries that felt they could give their citizens unbridled freedom to satisfy every human desire are paying dearly for it today. Most of them wil only understand when we have lost it,but Thanks to the strong opposition of our ppl.Culture protects us in many ways.YES,the white man brought Christianity,we picked the good in it,that somehow also supported our good aspect,we discard anything that is wrong wit their life.No African tribe supports fornication,or adultery, but homosexuality is perversion that wil break down our society into shreds.
Go google up homosexuality in ancient Africa before you continue with your culture rhetorics and for that breakdown of our society stuff, i only wonder why millions of our compatriots are not rushing back home from countries where gay rights are respected maybe you inclusive.

Politics › Re: Cleric Faults Soyinka Over Same-sex Marriage by Yeske2(m): 7:08pm On Dec 22, 2011
The same arguement all over again. Christianity and Islam are alien to us yet most Nigerians would openly frown at traditionalists but that doesn't mean it must be criminalised even when practised openly by it's adherents however a minority. Same goes for gayism, a minority but have no rights because it is 'alien to our culture and beliefs'. You could google gayism in ancient Africa i.e for those who feel it's unafrican and for the 'holier than thou', the two major religions are alien to us as well. Funny thing is that most of us haven't met one g.ay all our lifes but are quick to turn judges.
