hazan041:Yeah, its our birthday mate. |
Nigeria did the same anyway, Ghana must go is still a very fresh Memory. Despite the best English, Mathematics and Science teachers were Ghanians. The government kicked them out with the approval of majority of the Citizens. **Oh I missed Mr and Mrs Kumarh. If Nigeria did it why can't USA? |
Neminc:You're very correct. |
Statsocial:You made a great point relating the course issue. ***As to the ownership of the 2 Universities, read the Uni's Wikipedia page which I'm sure was written by the schools' officials. It states on both Convenant and Landmark pages that the schools are affiliated with the church, no where does it mention or used the word "owned". I don't see this as an oversight or mistake. Other church owned Unis used the word owned. I rest my case, we are free to believe whatever we want. |
Statsocial:@OP ***Covenant And Landmark University are both affliated with the Church but not owned by the Winners Chapel. I don't think affliated and owned have the same legal interpretation. ***A lecturer teaching 5 undergrad courses |
The devil is a liar. **Prayer Band section is very much needed now on NL. ![]() Thanks @OP for sharing ur story, enough advices offered. I prayer Almighty God hear ur cry and may his divine will manifest. |
You left home 3:30am to attend a church service that starts at 8am? |
Lakeside79:I couldn't agree more with ur point. I always say this, There's no state in Nigeria whose political demographics replicate that of Nigeria as a country. Being a President of a country like Nigeria isn't a job a lot of people can qualify for due to its complexity. Ask any Past President, they will tell you, it's a very hard job. Lots of these governors practice autocratic governance which they will neva get away with being a President of Nigeria. Ask Buhari and Osinbajo how far, I'm sure they never expect such complexity of the job. |
Believe it or not, Senator David Mark may be the next President of this country. I don't know him, never met him but looking at the interested candidates so far he has the numbers, the political connections, the money, and as well the backing of the Nigeria Godfathers. Don't get me wrong, as a young person I wish for a more better and younger candidate bt the reality is if wishes are horses, beggars will ride. Most of us that comment here are neither politician nor registered voter. So let me explain my points 1. The Numbers: So far only few regions of all the country have presented a Presidential candidate. David is Middlebetter, this region comprises of some many states, which is also a good thing for the stability of the country. The last Middlebetter Head of state has one of the longest reign in the history of the country, he's Rtd General Yakubu Gowon. 2. The Political connection: his CV speaks for itself 3. Money: It's obvious 4. The Godfathers: Believe it or not, all the presidential candidates/ president of the country are not matters of coincidence except GEJ, although his VP candidature was neva coincidental. It's obvious that David Mark is a IBB loyalist and put that against other suggested candidates, they have no grounded Godfathers like the ex-head of state. **Remember Democratic politics is a game of numbers (the silent majority). |
EgunMogaji:**The contractor handling this payment is a Nigerian company based in CT and fully staffed by Nigerians. **Oga you can't expect Nigeria to have embassy in all states of the US. The country has 3-4 embassies around the US, in my opinion they don try. You choose to live in LA biko, go ask the Nigerians in Canada where the only embassy is in Ottawa. |
Amoto94:It's pathetic, everyone seems to know it all yet don't know shit. I applied for Turkish visa with US passport, I paid $20 and printed it instantly online myself. People wey neva go anywhere go dey form World traveler. ![]() |
There's a God. Happy Sunday peeps ![]() |
SirJeffry:@OP, please next time do a proper research b4 making negative comment abt Nigeria. **You claimed you've not heard of other countries that contract the visa application. Well, I ask you the simple question.... how many visa applications to other countries have you done? The simple truth is, lots of countries contract their visa/passport applications. **You also claimed ur visa doesn't carry ur pic. I'll ask again how many visa applications to other countries have you done? Lots of countries issue visa without interview and applicant's pic. I know lots of issues are wrong with our country, but don't use the excuse to criticise everything in the country. God bless Nigeria. |
donteanz:All of the above, where there're contradictions Jesus's word will seem supreme with a good argument. |
ITbomb:What I understand from this is that the gospel can be adapted to every audience culture and laws. Unlike the way some of our cultures and traditions have been abandoned in the name of religion May his spirit gives us more understanding of his words. |
Can someone explain to me why despite the hatred he's getting this dude/mude keeps smiling to the bank. Hhhhmmmm, seems he understands this rule of publicity that says it's better to infamous than to be unfamous. Y'all should keep throwing ur hatred @ him, just so you know he's riding on them and smiling to the bank. **Please, next time you see his news/story just look and waka pass. God bless our hustle. |
Gobhanky:I tired oooo for this Venza hype. I think she's better off with a Rav4 bt at the end of the day it's his money and he can buy whatever. And this just prove a point abt us Nigerians, we don't have personal dreams. We just dey do follow for everything. Hahaha, the richest man in how church bought a Venza, my peeps will start praying to God for a Venza without thinking abt the practicality of the car. |
It's funny reading this news abt the EFCC boss. He's reporting a thief to a bigger thief. . He's reporting the banks to the IMF (group of bankers). It's obvious alot of Nigeria civil servants don't just understand how to the world works. The IMF is very much aware of the looting of the country's wealth, the same members of the group will accept the stolen funds and repackaged it as a loan back to the country it was stolen from. Madam Ngozi Iweala, understands this system very well as a World Bank trainee. Did you hear her shouting abt stolen funds during her tenure as Finance/Coordinating Minister? ***The IMF is a group of bankers delegated to loans funds to troubled economies around the world. |
Jolar101:Congratulations to the only civilized Nigerian. ![]() The hard truth is, democracy is a game of numbers. And most of the time, the silent majority selects the winner. Most of us that shout on social media don't vote and majority of those who vote don't even have a smart phone. Democratic political game is the same around the world. The primary goal of any elected official anywhere in the world is to get reelected. And they use every resources and instruments @ their disposal to this goal. ***Please don't blame the voters, blame the system. |
Nigeria Ben Carson, . Ministry of housing and Urban development is set for you.Sir, you're better off treating ur patients and acting in political Advisory capacity. The truth of the matter is, in the nigeria politics of today there are Kingmakers who delegates Presidential candidates. |
Ebonyi peeps just don't want to get civilised like the other Igbos. ![]() |
I thought it's summertime, so why the winter attire naw? ![]() |
NSE hhhhmmmm, such a volatile market. Gains almost a Trillion naira in a 2days and can also lose the same amount in 2 hours. I see it as a dump and pick market. Investors dump their money and in 2 day they can ask for it money back. .....Get enlightened |

Very Nice, it's a good news for me. I pray this becomes law ASAP. Although, it has been a great avenue for many young Nigerians to explore other regions of the country. Unfortunately, this good intentions has been corrupted by stupid bureaucracy. |
Dear Pastor Bakare, some of us saw this coming 2-3 years ago. There's absolutely nothing strange about Buhari's government, the country was in exact situation during his military regime. We shouted and cried not to entrust Buhari with the governance of this great nation, y'all friends and cohorts of the Presidential candidate then called us unbelievers and unpatriotics. Sir, this content of ur sermon is coming too late and I think you're trying to savage ur image/reputation, also distanting urself from the current visionless government b4 we the oppressed understand we need to isolate and stone y'all. ****historians/bible scholars, what happened to prophets/ men of God who made wrong predictions and prophesy? |
@OP, I understand ur hesitant of not telling ur parents abt the issue. The truth is most Nigeria parents won't address this issue the right way. As the elderly one, you should have an idea of how ur mummy will react. Most parents will probably escalate the issue, such reporting the kids @ school, reporting to a religious leader, make the kids undergo an elongated punishment. If you're not careful, you may even regret reporting them in the first place and it may affect ur relationship with ur siblings for life. Are you the first born? If you are, please put both of them under surveillance especially the girl who's 14. She may result to seeking sexual attention in the neighbourhood, school or church. Can you think of anybody in the family of that is trustworthy who can advise you on exactly what to do. You have to be very careful here, telling the wrong person may leads to ur siblings becoming victim of predators. |

Fessy09:You are obviously a good political observer, wish I can meet you and gist abt Politics over some bottle of Guinness. Nice post bro. |
Obviously, that toto sweet you very well. You find it difficult to say final good bye . As soon as you escorted her back to the hotel, that should have been the final goodbye. Guy it's official you now have a girlfriend who has made you her next of kin. Cutting her off permanently at this point is difficult, she knows ur house address. Kindly go visit her to know what happened and ask her for the true story of her life. **You may have to a seek legal opinion b4 visiting at the top tier Police station where she dey. |
Nawa for you oooo. Despite all the free date-gaming post on NL you still dey fail. Simple truth is you're giving this girl too much attention and she's taking advantage of you. Next time she comes for ur service, ask for ur charges. If she Ingores you, tell her she owes you. If she ask you for a meal, tell her you're broke and can't afford to get it for her. The worst is she'll stop coming to ur shop and that's the best for you. @least you can channel ur energy on another girl. Hope you've learnt from ur mistakes. |
