His anger observation is understandable.....not easy to sell, waiting for a stock to be battered so as to pick much lower but boom! the stock makes U-turn and started flying up....... the thing dey pain person. Chai.

If such thing happens to me, I don't sulk on such stock anyway, I just move on to look for another opportunity.....or wait for pullback. Opportunities plenty for NGX.

Why are you concerned about people who sold at 24.4/25, and how do you know they are regretting? Did u sell at that price? Are you regretting? The people or person that sold it to me at 17, what should that person do now? I think there is no need for that, it's there money and their choice.

On ETERNA, someone asked sometimes ago about the remaining 40% or so.......
* Preline thru Rainoil never mentioned exiting NGX
* Rainoil bought from 4 substantial shareholders or thereabout to become the highest substantial shareholder.
* The mandatory 0.1% made was just to fulfill the rules and regulations guiding the huge purchases made by Rainoil from the former substantial holders....
* As it is, no plan yet to exit, and.....if in case they opted for remaining shareholders' buy-out in future, it will favour the remaining shareholders much more........it's going to be opposite of what ARDOVA did.

* This is my view of it.
Anyone with more update or contrary opinion can also share.

When news surfaced for Dangsugar, they all were there on queue to buy......no one is talking about the loss again..
Those that panic sold @24.40/25 would be regretting their actions by now.

Let's keep watching how Mr. Market will do its thing..

High concentration of locals in the market these days seems to be a blessing in disguise...

Market not tanking as may be expected....

It's not all stocks that you'll be jumping in and out of it all the time.....

Last last Alhaji will not lose, he will use Dangote Food to make up for the Dangote Sugar loss . If you are already in the bus , don't panic. Things are not as bad as they seems. The cash flow is still very HEALTHY. The Dangote Sugar result would have been a very good one if not for FINANCE COST . The company is still as strong as ever. I no fit find explanation for seplat poor performance. Revenue was positive, same with gross profit but it appear like they have stared that thing transcorp use to do. Non controlling interest and equity holders of the parent company don dey share the profit.

Custodian was selling at day's high today, despite that there wasn't any bid at the day's high, hhmmm, it well.

I've been checking for Eterna result since.....but can't get it on NGX yet....*Edited: seen!

* If we look closely at the result, ETERNA's profit was more than doubled......over +100%
* The FX revaluation loss was attributed to the PMS importation expected in July but for which the order was made in the 2nd quarter...
* I saw a news with regards to this importation challenges before now.......on self funding stuff.
* This FX loss doesn't seems to be what it is on the paper....... b/4 the Unification issue came up exchange was 461 but unification drove the exchange up to 642/700+.........this has must have been fully captured in Q2....
* I saw this as a paper loss that will be rectified as soon as Orders starts to arrive.
* Hope I'm even making sense..... ......we will wait for Eterna at good bargain junction should Mr. Market decide to 'punish it....knowing fully well that a good news will take care of the rest.

PS: I have Eterna and not ready to sell.

Trying to keep it @3.60 for quite some while now.....
- Once 3.60 offer is picked up, he supplied another one at that price......
- Are they keeping it down till they're done digesting the result or done picking their fill? Only time will tell....

Many want quick cash, thus see NSE as gambling ground.....any little cough, you see them pick race, if it reverse the 2nd day again, they start jumping in...

I've seen that dividend somewhere for more than a week o, I thought I made mistake, I said I'll recheck but not chanced.

Lol. The consumer goods are taking hit......contrary to what we expected.
I'd thought with food inflation and co, that consumer goods will outperform in Q2 but it wasn't so.

Meanwhile, GT is still showing strength in market ....... wonder what this one is coming with...

I don't get it.why would the resident House charge me when they are not rendering any service to me.The only reason I would want to open another account is to move from another house.

Pls anyone who has transferred from active house before should share the cost implications.

* You'll pay Transfer of Stock charges with the resident house......na you wan carry their potential fees go na...
* The cost varies from house to house, but should be around N5k or more, depending on the house.
* The 10days mentioned by Emma doesn't work like that ooo........if it's fast and maybe he's going to oversee it for you by himself, then be looking at 2-3mths, if not it will pass 3 mths.
* You don't have to open another account with Investment One prior to the transfer.......
* Once the transfer is successful, Investment One will create an account for you with the coming transferred shares........CSCS won't allow the account to be lumped with existing one.
* Once transfer is successful, remember to cross check and ensure that your "Direct Cash Settlement Form" was indicated "NO" and activated from CSCS end.
