Christianity Etc › Re: School Forces First Grader To Remove "God" From Poem by Ymodulus: 2:47pm On Dec 31, 2012
In the United States, freedom of
religion is a constitutionally
guaranteed right provided in the
religion clauses of the First
Amendment . Freedom of religion is
also closely associated with
separation of church and state , a
concept advocated by Thomas
Jefferson.[1]

The First Amendment
In the United States, the religious
civil liberties are guaranteed by the
First Amendment to the United
States Constitution
:
“
Congress shall make no law
respecting an
establishment of religion,
or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof; or
abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or
the right of the people
peaceably to assemble, and
to petition the Government
for a redress of grievances.
”
:

“

The " Establishment Clause ," stating
that "Congress shall make no law
respecting an establishment of
religion," is generally read to
prohibit the Federal government
from establishing a national church
("religion"wink or excessively involving
itself in religion, particularly to the
benefit of one religion over
another. Following the ratification
of the Fourteenth Amendment to
the United States Constitution
and through the doctrine of
incorporation , this restriction is
held to be applicable to state
governments as well.

The " Free Exercise Clause " states
that Congress cannot "prohibit the
free exercise" of religious
practices.

:
“ The Supreme Court of
the United States has consistently
held, however, that the right to
free exercise of religion is not
absolute. For example, in the 19th
century, some of the members of
The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints
traditionally practiced polygamy ,
yet in Reynolds v. United States
(1879), the Supreme Court upheld
the criminal conviction of one of
these members under a federal law
banning polygamy
:

“

now if u are a law student u would no the part of the law that state that a customary or state law can noot super seed a federal law in many places. this is applicable to the last part of the bolded.

now my view is this
the school teacher was not wrong for the following reasons

w. its a public school and so all of u must obey public laws. and in isolation of the state from religion. we must allow ppple exercise dia free right to religion but not impoose it on odas. this is a school gatheriing with people if you want to tell them about god den do dat in your private homes.

note if the gal has said My GRANDFATHER WORSHIPS GOD, thats ok but u telling us about the strenght source about ur grandfada from god is preaching and so is not deem fit.

bsides my above quotes is from Wikipedia.

1. Stored info in our mind being relayed due to our unconsciouse/consciouse imaginations based on our concerns and fears.

2. Infusions of information from spirit forces into our minds.

Truthislight and Reyginus who later refused to accept the immortality of soul should also come out to explain the concept of dream.

Christianity Etc › Re: I Will Fight Against This LIE by Ymodulus: 5:11pm On Dec 29, 2012
The most funniest of all is that jesus christ went to hell. i ask myself the question if jesus went to hell why then say hell is a place of torment for the wicked?

Acts 2:31

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left (kataleipo) in hell (hades), neither his flesh did see corruption. (KJV translation)

The word kataleipo means...

1) to leave behind

a) to depart from, leave

1) to be left

b) to bid (one) to remain

c) to forsake, leave to one's self a person or thing by ceasing to care for it, to abandon, leave in the lurch

1) to be abandoned, forsaken

d) to cause to be left over, to reserve, to leave remaining

e) like our "leave behind", it is used of one who on being called away cannot take another with him

1) especially of the dying (to leave behind)

f) like our "leave", leave alone, disregard

1) of those who sail past a place without stopping

Source: http://www.blueletterbible.org/tmp_dir/words/2/1147370736-9394.html

So basically this word means to be "left over" somewhere. So that means that the thing being left over was already there.

The word hades means...

1) name Hades or Pluto, the god of the lower regions

2) Orcus, the nether world, the realm of the dead

3) later use of this word: the grave, death, hell

++++

In Biblical Greek it is associated with Orcus, the infernal regions, a dark and dismal place in the very depths of the earth, the common receptacle of disembodied spirits. Usually Hades is just the abode of the wicked, Lu. 16:23, Rev. 20:13,14; a very uncomfortable place.

Source: http://www.blueletterbible.org/tmp_dir/words/8/1147369484-2683.html

Basically what the verse is saying is that Jesus' soul was not left over or remained in hell. However, this shows and proves that his soul was indeed there at a point in time. Bible commentator Matthew Henry says...

Thou wilt not leave my soul in hell’’ (in hades, in the invisible state, so hades properly signifies); "but, though thou suffer it for a time to remove thither, and to remain there, yet thou wilt remand it; thou wilt not leave it there, as thou dost the souls of other men.’’ (Matthew Henry Complete Commentary on the Whole Bible, Source)

So basically Jesus' soul was in hell for a period of time but did not remain there just as it would be for other men (the sinners I am assuming).

very funny

A teacher says to a class of students: No student should address me except the class prefect and his assistant... Why does the teacher select only those two? They are all students , right? They have a status with the teacher, and are given the privilege.

Same goes with the people of the book, they do commit acts of shirk but they have a status: the people of the book. The Quran never addresses them as mushrik even though it highlights their acts of shrik.

Be honest with the book and you have no problems.

tbaba1234: ^ Lol, grin caught with his pants down,

Anyway, your conclusion is still invalid...

I am actually studying the Quran and i am also trying my best to 'cram' it. Respect the Quran usage of the word mushrik, instead of trying to put people in a box that the Quran does not put them into.

Yes, they do commit acts of shirk but they have a status in Islam as the people of the book, and that is what they are referred to as in the Quran, not mushriks.. Some Christians at the time of the prophet also believed in the trinity, It didn't stop them from been called people of the book. This is because they still have parts of God's revelation with them.
Mr you juat nailed yoursef. they commit the acts of shirk.

Note if somebody drinks just once for a day i cant term him a drunkard never, but when he does this constantly and even messes himself up, then he fits the description of a drunkard. now in relation christians dont just commits this act of shirks have u ave said once. the do it constantly and so are shirks.

Again, Intellectual humility would be useful for you.

Hebrews 4:12

New International Version (NIV)

12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Mr there is no place in that verse that conotes immortality of the soul. infact the bolded went on to support the mortality of the soul. cause i dont know how a sword will cut someting immortal. or have u seen it?
Islam › Re: Your Thoughts On A Combined Wedding/Nikkai Ceremony by Ymodulus: 3:36pm On Dec 29, 2012
Mr i cant deny the fact i took the article from the said url. but i ust tell you that i didnt conclude the end because he was wrong at his conclusions. now let me support my facts.

MUSHRIKS
are said to be people who acclaims a partner to god.
now the question is do christian fall under this category? yes they do though not all.
Why?
when christians call trinity they are acclaiming partners to god. mr dey say God the fada, son and holy spirit. that they are three gods yet in one and they believe the three gods make decision in unison. But there is one fact not all christians believe in trinity.

Now back to the main bone of emphasis. it goes can christians be referred to as MUSHRIKS
Answer
Yes the can be referred to as MUSHRIKS though not all just those who believe on trinity. so please read your quran well and understand all it says before coming out here to spill rubbish!!!!!!.

Lastly my advice dont cram the quran like 90% of u do. bye

Take this as another clear example of how some men wrongly interprete the word of God by infering and drawing wrong conclusion. You rightly quoted above that it is permisable for a muslim man to marry a christian or jew female. However, Allah in his infinite mercy says a muslim should not marry a Mushriks,Allah id not in any place equates Mushriks to be christians or jews. It is you that now defines Mushriks to be Christians or jews. you see clearly how we start to cause confusion. If Allah wants to call Christins or Jews Mushriks, he would have done that but no where in the quoran where Christian/Jews called Mushriks. Rather they are refered to as the people of the book etc.
Before I answer your specific
question, it would be appropriate
to first take a close look at the two
terms "Mushrik" and " Kaafir ", as
only after that can we say whether
the Christians, Jews or adherents of
any other religion fall in these
categories or not.
Let us first take the term " Kaafir ".
" Kaafir" in the Arabic language
means "rejecter". The term
" Kaafir", normally taken to be
synonymous with "non-Muslim" or
"non-believer", is quite different
from the two terms. A "non-
Muslim", obviously, is a person
who does not adhere to the Muslim
faith. Thus, all those who do not
ascribe to the Muslim faith are
"non-Muslims". A "non-believer" is
generally used for a person who
does not believe in God and the
Day of Judgment. "Kaafir ", on the
other hand, is a person who
knowingly rejects the truth. A
person may not believe in some
'truth' for a number of reasons.
For instance, he may not be fully
convinced of some aspect of that
'truth' or he may have some doubts
in his mind regarding that truth.
However, if all doubts are removed
from his mind and he becomes
fully convinced of that truth, yet
he persists in not accepting it or
persists in ascribing to a wrong
belief after becoming certain of its
incorrectness, he then becomes a
" Kaafir" and is no longer just a
"non-Muslim" or a "non-believer".
In other words, all those people
who persist in not accepting Islam
after being fully convinced that
Islam is the truth of the Almighty
or persist in ascribing to a false
belief after being convinced of its
incorrectness are " Kaafirs" or
rejecters of the truth. All others
for our purposes are "non-
Muslims" or "non-believers ".
This explanation, if considered
closely, should clarify the fact that
we cannot call anyone a "Kaafir "
unless we have absolute knowledge
of the reasons for his rejection of
faith (or Islam), which we do not
possess. Thus, for the purpose of
this world, we should not call
anyone a "Kaafir ". It is only God,
Who with His absolute knowledge
can declare someone a " Kaafir ".
No one besides God possesses the
knowledge that is essential to
declare someone a " Kaafir ".
Thus, we know on the basis of
God's declaration in the Qur'an
that the Jews and the Christians
(and those ascribing to other faiths)
during the time of the Prophet
(pbuh) refused to believe in the
Prophet (pbuh) even after being
fully convinced of his prophethood
and were, therefore, termed
" Kaafir" by the Almighty. As far as
the Jews and the Christians of later
times are concerned, we do not
have adequate knowledge of the
reasons for their rejection to term
them " Kaafir ". God, on the Day of
Judgment, shall give the decision
regarding these Jews and Christians.
Those, among them, who refused
to accept Islam and the
prophethood of Mohammed (pbuh)
, although they were fully
convinced of it being the truth,
shall stand in the category of
" Kaafirs" on the Day of Judgment.
The term "Mushrik", like the term
" Kaafir" has also been slightly
misused. It is not just ascribing to
a polytheistic belief that makes a
person a "Mushrik". According to
the Qur'an , "Mushrik" is one who
ascribes partners to God. and christiaan believs in trinity. 3 partners of god. god d fada, d son and holy spirit
