Steamy? Understatement of the year.

There's a boat scene that created enough shock waves to bring Atlantis back to the surface. lipsrsealed

From what i know Poseidon was in love with athena and when Medusa joined the temple Poseidon had his eyes on her.after doing the deed Athena turned Medusa into a gorgon because of jealousy and anger.

Poseidon wasn't in love with Athena.
They were rivals.
They even battled over who the city of Athens would be named after, Athena won and made the sea god a sore loser
Probably why he went after a priestess swore to serve her temple and raped her.

BLOOD AND WATER (2020)
TV Series

Genre : Drama
Rating : 8/10

This is an high school drama of a 16 year old girl who transferred to a new college in search of her sister who was abducted at birth.

If you liked Elite, then this is for you, both are very similar.

What made it special for me was the African theme, it portrayed our continent in something other than poverty. I have to admit, at first I was wary because I have this misconception that if it isn't "western", it won't make sense (I was proven wrong).

The series is very short, just 6 episodes, I'm gladly anticipating season 2.
(Netflix do fast)

Netflix snapped with this one.
A show with two unambiguous black women as leads and as African as it gets.
It's Gossip girl meets Pretty Little Liars. . . .but juicer.

At least his so called Christian life is more Righteous than your Full Holiness Life

If instead of tear gassing prostesters and firing them with rubber bullets just to pose with a bible he does not read infront of a church he does not attend, he'd knelt down for 9 minutes to show the people he knows George had a knee to his neck for the same time and he is emphatic he'd have appeared more human.

A righteous Christian life is meaningless if you're an unemphatic human.

Poverty is a mindset and not an inescapable reality.

Poverty is not a mindset.
Poverty is many people's reality.
Poverty is what many disadvantaged individuals are born into.
Poverty is what said individuals try their best to escape.
Poverty is the result of a failed system designed to keep the disadvantaged. . . disadvantaged so the children of the elite who benefit from the system don't have to compete for opportunities.

Poverty is not a mindset, it is an inescapable reality for many of the world's population.

I don't think that's the question the op asked here... it's not about being a good Christian title...

... it's about being a billionaire without hurting anyone along the way to the top.

A genuine Christian cannot be a billionaire.

There's too much poverty, hunger and class discrepancies in the world for someone who considers himself/herself an ethical genuine Christian to comfortably refer to themselves as a billionaire.

Wealth needs to be distributed.

Billionaire or not Kylie is the real deal, she started her business by herself not that she inherited it, she worked hard to get where she is today, and forbes just wake up to say she lied like what the.. didn't they carry out their own separate investigation before giving her the billionaire title that she didn't even ask for

Kylie is a hard worker and role model to millions of girls out there that are self made or dream to be one, we love you so much Kylie, our self made billionaire

She did not start the buisness herself and she's not self made.
She's a hard worker and a buisness woman but she's far from a self made billionaire.

There's nothing i hate more than the western way of child parenting... Parents being so soft that their children even talk back at them with harsh words.. African parenting system has its flaws but with type of natural potential dimwits we are.. i really think that the African system suits us well... but frankly in all honesty the best parenting system I've envisioned is that of the Asians, a bit of African and western... Balanced

Asian parents are involved in their children's life in totality.
They don't encourage slacking and are quick to put you in line. They embody the tough love troupe 1000%

It's not about Western influence ma'am. You are the one making the comparison here. No society is totally immaculate in concept and ideologies. Its what you and I experienced while growing up.

I didn't make it about Western influence, the person I was replying did.

I just don't like the way most millennial parents are raising their kids, (It's none of my buisness tho) because they're largely influenced by the western culture. While there's a good majority of ideas to take from these white people, I don't think their form of parenting is one of them.

You are 100% right.

People are getting heavily influenced by the parenting styles introduced by the western media.

Which is ironic because the eastern world aka Asia have very similar parenting styles to Africans and those people fight to limit their children from western exposure.

1.I think a lot African parents ( mothers in particular), tend to treat their sons as mini-kings who can do no wrong in their eyes. This is where the culture of Male entitlement starts from; the upbringing. The boys grow up with a sense of superiority that somehow absolves them of certain responsibilities.

2. Staying in toxic relationships for the children. In many cases, the children end-up worse off psychologically ,than kids coming out of two healthy parents living separately.

3. The "if Kevin can do it ,you can do it too ".mentality. you have a lot of parents who see the neighbour's kid doing well selling bread ,& they start pushing their own children towards that trade or career without assisting them in what they are really good at so that they too can be a shining example in their own right. You see the results of this in many African markets ,everyone sells the samethings ,hardly will you find people who produce the products or selling something that is not readily available.

I think your first point is very generalized and a little on the extreme side.

Definitely, we're together on this though I didn't wish she dated Nadia because despite the fact that she and Nadia came together, she was still egoistic. It's just the typical Lucrecia.

Lu has an ego and she always will but thankfully she has alot going on for her to back it up.
She's smart, driven and a go-getter.
Her character development this season was organic and well scripted.

I'm only sad she killed Polo because that small fact will come to haunt her in the future.

Did you notice that while Cayetana was rubbing the neck of the bottle on Polo's hand, she pierced herself and got her blood on Polo, I wonder if forensics are going to reopen the investigation if they discover her blood.

NETFLIX tends not to officially renew or cancel its shows until a new season of a series has logged in a full month of data. Elite may yet be renewed (or cancelled), but Netflix won't cook up a decision for the next 3 weeks, so y'all need to chill the fvck out.

There's going to be a 4th season.
Half the cast are still in Las Encinas awaiting graduation.
That's a fertile ground for more murder shenanigans and the basis for another great season.

Who else is watching the Elite.

Gays everywhere
Bisexuals everywhere
Threeome everywhere
Lesbian marriage

Investigations happening all the times
Cheating happening like it's nothing
Fvxk me I fvuk u everywhere.
How can forget "Party Party Party" all the times angry
I miss Christian though. His laughs makes me laugh.

Season 3 ep 5. Still watching.

Interesting movie sha.

I have to hand it to the writers and actors, they actually made me invested in Ander and Omar (a gay couple)

Season 3 was phenomenal. I'm happy we can close the chapter of Marina's murder but it feels like half the cast that graduated won't be coming back for season 4.
