As someone who never read the books or played the game, I found The Witcher to be very confusing.

Witcher isn't hyped.
It gained popularity because Game of Thrones created alot of fans out of the Fantasy Genre.
Game of thrones is over now, these fans have no fix and in comes Neflix with Witcher snatching fantasy fans many of who hated the last season of GOT. . .many are still salty and will say Witcher is better.

Eventually when the scales fall they'll understand GoT was really miles ahead.

You guys should go out there and see what's happening, at my former place of work, the ladies there were compromising with their bosses, few who won't can't get the job.

If they ask you and you can't help them politely turn it down, stop insulting women. There were days when my mum had nothing and I would take the plantain chips she made every morning to my Bank to sell since she didn't want to over burden me.

Women go through a lot o, stop ridiculing them. Tomorrow, you will have wives and daughters, the universe is watching and it will pay you back in the same coin.

Op went to her mother to ask for her hand in marriage, the woman handed her daughter over to him and barely two years later he hit her to the extent that she bled all because she demanded to know his whereabouts.

No mother wants to see her baby treated less than a princess, she's justified for taking her daughter away from a toxic, hostile environment.

Federal govt shld control all these abnormalities. There should be a policy that we compel all our medical students to use the knowledge they have acquired in Nigerian institution for Nigerians. They shld be compelled to work for the country for at least 5 years before traveling out for greener pastures

God forbid!
The one year internship plus one year NYSC is more than enough to serve Nigerians, then the young doctors can flee.

I don't blame them but find it bizarre that one can put marriage before overall happiness. It's like there is more focus on the idea of being marriage rather than what it truly entails. Nigeria is very "clique" society, there are certain expectation based on who you are. I just find it surprising the strong grip it has on people's choices.

I'm sure he didn't mean women over 30 are literally not hot. I think he meant they tend to have fewer suitors and even with all their wealth, it becomes increasingly difficult to settle down as they age.
That doesn't of course mean some don't eventually settle down but the pool of available men become much smaller.

The obsession with marriage among Nigerian females is something I still struggle to understand. Admittedly, I never grew up in Nigeria but I was baffled when I came over (for NYSC) to see the number of females that saw marriage as the immediate next step. Forget the career aspect for a second, what about ones personal development and growth? There is never a "right" time for marriage but there are surely better suited times. However at the end of the day, to each is own. No right or wrong way to live this life when it comes to deciding between marriage or career. Some may believe marriage will bring that needed personal growth.

Just my opinion (I know not asked for ).

Nigerian ladies didn't wake up one day and collectively decide to obsess about marriage.

The society, their nuclear and extended families and even strangers place this huge burden of finding a husband on them.
If she's without a husband at a certain age, she's no better than a leper. . .and so you can't blame them for avoiding stigmatization by thinking/obsessing about marriage 24/7

The "real best" enter fields like physics and mathematics where they can make real contributions to the human society, not medicine. What you should say that only the best M&S applicants end up studying medicine.
I can't imagine the likes of laplace or stephen hawking attempting to study Medicine and surgery. Na all those mkpobiriti students for my class that year na im put medicine as first choice. Students wey no sabi anything but good get good studying techniques.

Wouldn't you want the brighest minds to study medicine and handle human life which is one of the most fragile things??
