This form of repetition helps you acclimate yourself to the topica in such a way that they will be part of you... Repetition is key..
You shudnt expect to read and understand something completely at just one read


Also practice re-reading in your mind... This is a good way to cement what you read... E.g..you just finished studying and are about to sleep.. That few minutes before you finally doze off... Try to re-read in your mind.. By that i mean, mentally seeing yourself on a chair, with the book in front of you... This is good practice as you can remember pages where information are easily..

Make you reading fun, there are loads of things i can say, buh these shud suffice for now.. Dont give up.. I need to hear you good news by the end of your final year..

Lets do some maths shall we.. 4yr course of study at 25% for each year
2.9 in first yr equals 2.9 * 0.25 = 0.725 of total cgpa
3.5 in second yr first semester shud equal 3.5 * 0.25 * 0.5 = 0.4375
You roughly have 1.1625
To make 3.5 you wud need 2.3375 in the remaining semesters including second semester of 200l
Total of 5 semesters left = 5/8 *100= 62.5 percent left
So 2.3375 / 0.625 = 3.74...

So theoretically from the information you have given and approximately using equal weights per semester you would need at least 3.75 average gpa per semester till you graduate including your year two second semester

Bro....I'm sure you can. The above analysis does not work that way...you can confirm from your course advisor. Aim for a 4.5 for both semesters. I was on a 3.3 in my final year and lost hope. Was able to make a 4.1 and 3.8 for both semesters in my finals but still ended up with a 3.44 CGPA. Just make sure you give it your all. This is not the time to graduate with a 2:2.
