Nigerians can be funny at times, if there is back door or long leg recruitment they would complain bitterly, travel long distance for test, complain...
Now they are trying to make things easier, yet people want to sabotage their efforts, what the hell has freedom of information got to do with this, another one was even trying to sell, haba!
We can help each other but not in such a reckless manner..

Yes you can, but it would take an enormous amount of effort, Medical school alone is extremely tasking, now adding programming to it, only a few people can manage, others might lose their sanity..
Know yourself, if after a few months of combining and things don't work out, take a break off programming, till maybe holidays, because programming can be learnt anytime, medicine can't be learnt outside school..

I'm sorry i really can't give you a definite answer to that. Closest might be that there were some elements of inconsistency or your answers reflected more of a "one-man squad" kind of personality or maybe even an "i too know" leader kind of personality.. I cant really say because i don't know what you selected

I'm in the same situation with you. I wrote the competency test 15 hours ago and still yet to get a response or a link for the second test.
Friends I spoke to said they got a response few minutes after the competency test.
Did anyone experience this long delay in getting a response after the competency test?

The text in red has nothing to do with your issue, it just means that on the Shell recruitment day, they'll call out random candidates to redo tge competency test to show that no "wayo" was played...
Your issue might be site related, just relax it'll come.
But remember not to waste time when it arrives

Actually used my tablet wey na only half the screen dey responsive to touch, tho i used a mouse with it sha, all na mind, where there is a will there is always a way,
Solved with just my basic small tecno phone were the calculator has just basic arithmetic operators, but I still finished.
Its very possible to finish,
The major thing here is just to pass their benchmark score.

Tips for the second test
Ensure you read the title of the tables/charts properly.
For fast percentage difference eg by wat percentage is 20 greater than 17..just do 20/17 then subtract 1..that'll give you the percentage..
Then by what percentage is 17 less than 20..wud be 17/20..then subtract the answer from 1

For quick percentage increment multiply by (1 + percentage) eg increase 28 by 12 %.. 28 * 1.12

For ratios, use you eyes.. Eg 11. 1 : 5.9 is very close to 11:6

Maybe your inconsistency in the questions shows you're not sure of the kind of person you are, be it a leader, follower, team player, dictator, etc hence them saying you're still making an important career decision.

In the mail I got immediately after the second test, it was not stated expressly whether I passed or didn't.

it says you have completed the online assessment and your application is under review.

Else it would tell you the 12 months waiting ish

You'll receive a mail surely, its content would tell you if you passed

You'll get a link to the second test if you're successful with the first, else a regret mail saying you should wait for 12 months befire applying again

no need to stress yourself. It's all charts and figures

Actually finished the numeric test, just be calm, if you can interpret the question, you should be able to do fine.
Have a calculator, but also be able to do some quick approximations in your head

Got a mail 10 mins later indicating my successful completion of the online assessment

Before 2 hrs, while also recommending you "cool your blood" , so as not to make errors in the first test.

Well I'm just here to read comments...

The first test being a competency test is a test of your personality.. The key here is consistency.. You don't want to sell yourself and one thing and contradict yourself in another place.. There is soke psychology in it so my advise is to be careful and not to rush...

The second test is self explanatory.

Note that your cover letter doesn't need to have an address, since its an online application..

First paragraph should indicate what you are applying for and could also show your enthusiasm

Second and third paragraphs should show why you think you are qualified and fit for the job, you can maje reference to some items on your cv and cite certain experiences you've had to consolidate on what you are saying. E.g you've had experience on so and so and you achieved so and so, which greatly improved your so and so skills,

Fourth paragraph should be a conclusion and cement your enthusiasm and zeal for the graduate program..
