fulfilment - profession & family!
linda only has one of the two & don't kid yourself she's happy being single. no one is happy being single, that couldn't have been her plans when she was in her late teens.

there's no shortage of men in nigeria too so why is she unmarried? perhaps no sane nigerian man wants to walk the aisle with dan foster's sloppy seconds. grin cheesy grin what right has linda got to criticise another woman's wedding?

Dammmnnn. What if Linda disappoints all her haters with a "surprise wedding" (Toke style)
Don't write her off just yet na.

Just because you are in a haste to ride his Peniss, that is the reason you chose to marry his Photo? Even if the Man can not afford a flight ticket to Nigeria, incapacitated or not allowed to leave work, what stops you from fixing an appropriate day for the wedding? It's shameful to marry this way. I consider it a total disregard for your parents and our culture.

Her friends and family were present at the wedding

My dear, I apologize if you felt slighted by my comment.. that statement you made was inapplicable in most homes and too generalistic.. yet you stated it like fact.
Family / Re: 10 Divorce Stories You Won’t Believe by yorubadelta(f): 8:20am On Jul 10, 2015
When I was interning at a Law firm, the most ridiculous divorce case I saw was btw a British Millionaire and his American wife (who was his mistress before) . He divorced his original wife and married her - blinded by sex of course

They both relocated to UK and 1 year later when the sex fizzled out, she filed for divorce claiming to have lost out on her life back in America because she moved here with him.

The lady won 70% of his assets both home and abroad. Even with no children btw them and just 1 year of marriage.

Somebody wrote this "The Reason Wives Live Long Is Because They Do Not Have A Wife"---Brandy Breezy. Another person came up and countered that statement by saying "The Reason Husbands Live Long Is Because They Do Not Have A Husband----Omokhai Amaka. Let us deliberate on this matter, If you belong to any of the above school of thought, please signify and state your reasons as well.
As for me, I belong to the second school of thought. These are my Reasons;

A wife and her husband will go to work and come back almost at the same time, and the wife will bath the baby she just brought from Creche, feed the baby, thereafter go into the kitchen and prepare dinner for the family, while the husband is relaxing by either playing music or browsing. After doing all these, she would have been tired and at night, instead for her to sleep and rest after a long day, necessity will be laid on her to give her husband sex, which she reluctantly does.

If she decides to bring in a househelp or Nanny to help take care of some chores to relieve her a bit, the same husband will not allow the housegirl or Nanny to go free without having a bite of her and yet somebody will say husbands die because of wives

It is the same man that will go out there and have chains of girlfriends because societally, he is allowed to go and sleep with other strange women and come back to his home and infect his wife with one strange disease or the other.

It is the same wife that will go into the labour room for the man just to bare him a child and almost lose her own life and at the end of everything, somebody somewhere will write "The Reason Wives Live Long Is Because They Do Not Have A Wife"? God damn it.

The highlighted --» JARGONS.
Speak for yourself.

ladies first was applicable in the days of chivalry.. when men were macho and treated ladies like delicate flowers .. protecting her, opening doors and pulling out chairs for her etc..

Unfortunately, it's no 'longer ladies' first, rather, women are told to compete with men all in the name of gender equality. Women are now acting like Men and Men are increasingly becoming feminine.. smh

Messed up, confused generation.

Family / Re: Words Of Advice From A Mother To Her Daughter by yorubadelta(f): 9:54pm On Jul 09, 2015
histemple:
Absolutely on point. One of the major causes of our problems is the misplaced aggression to emulate the western culture. The nascent gender equality drive has subjected us to unfounded mendacious sentiments and has virtually made almost all our women to become feminists. And most of us are trying so hard to live an European life in Africa.
Every society operate based on their value system and cultural inclination. For instance, western countries encourage single mothers and so they are indirectly increasing the number of bastards and marriage breakups. In Africa, a woman is more dignified and respected by the society based on her ability to build an enviable home. In Africa, a respectful woman has more power and influence over a man and can get anything she wants.
To justify my point, a true african woman will appreciate this advice from a mother but it's a complete trash to a Western lady.
My fellow women, we must be truly African to live peacefully and happily in Africa as trying to be Western in Africa will result to increased frustration.
Woman submit and respect your husband and the Man should love his Wife.

Thank you! Smart lady you are.

point out what i said that's wrong. i told her to move on, what's the prob with that? already went through my own heartbreak. it sucks, yes, but the last thing you want to be doing is wallowing in self-pity or threatening the man that something will happen to him. how childish can you get. you're only giving him more power. if you want to cry, do that, but not publicly. she just wants attention

AwesomelyMade:

Can you just imagine?

Someone deleted you from his life, all you could do was to video yourself where you were crying and send to him.

I know you can't think like her.

You both have a point, but heartbreak can make one do s.tupid things uno... She's an older woman whose man left for a younger girl and is now publicly ridiculing her.

Clearly she is pained.. who wouldn't be? You can't expect her to be rational in her thinking in the midst of all this.

jaybee3:

Why would any sane person put her life on youtube just to get back at an EX?

She obviously did that to attract sympathy whilst forgetting there is always 2 sides to a story

If you know her as claimed then simply ask her to pull the video ASAP instead of crying on her behalf!

According to SDK, she recorded the video and sent it to Baba tee .. there's a possibility that he leaked it just to ridicule her.

haven't You see a situation where you wanna pay some good sum of money in the church or charity, while doing so your conscience condemns it and you start contemplating whether or not to give the money. You be like God speak to me in the language I'd understand grin

The bilble is written completely, no one does remove or add to it, not even by assumption, by doing so it's a sin.
If ain't written , it ain't there and it int a religious obligation.

Speaking from the social etiquette , it might be wrong and can affect your social life negatively, because you would rather service yourself than conquering the fear and pick up the challenge to speak up to that guy/lady. Most atimes you tend to enjoy loneliness and absolute quietness so as to engage in a non stop self-service.

It would be better to service yourself to ease your sexual desires than to go about raping and committing all kinda of sexual assaults. Above all just meet that girl and save yourself from guilt.

Nawa for this your statement sha..

Are you saying you can't control your urges so you would result to r.ape/sexual assault if you can't ease yourself via masturbation? Smh

You obviously didn't read through. I acknowledged the fact that jobs are available for those with relevant (foreign ) qualifications and experience. However someone who is a bank manager in Nigeria should not expect to walk into the United Kingdom and get a well-paying job with a high street London bank. There are far too many Nigerians without the requisite foreign experience and qualifications who end up roaming around with no destination.

This may be true for some.. what I see Nigerians do when they first arrive is to limit themselves and limit their circle, listening to advise from fellow Nigerians who have been here so long with nothing to show for it.

If that qualified banker rolls with the right people who know what they are doing, he would secure a great job without much struggle.

A very close friend of mine became a senior drug safety scientist within 3yrs of arriving the UK.. dude has a 2.2 in microbiology from Onabisi Onabanjo Uni.. no masters, no previous work experience. It was a lady he met in the industry that put him through how to package his cv to get the job.

So you see it not that Nigerian qualifications is looked down upon here.

Poster, what do you mean by lack of jobs? That statement is false abeg. If you are well qualified, got relevant experience and are LEGALLY in the country then getting a good job wouldn't be a problem at all.. In fact, jobs boku for UK if you know what you are doing.

Aside from that, everything else said is true.
