usermane: yeah, thank Yosh. But am tired of shipping and delivery cost attached to overall cost of my game. This is of disadvantage when buying a single cd as in my case. Used CDs r considerable options but i only go for fairly used when am out of pocket. I love my games new and am making effort to get them cheaper by avoiding middle men such as justconsoles/omagames.No problem, we do appreciate your input. We strive to over low prices through innovative methods, however you are right, sometimes there might be a better deal out there. With that said, I would suggest you keep your eyes on the website from time to time, as we keep working relentlessly to offer customers a wide array of games at extremely competitive prices. Thanks again. |

coogar: it wouldn't happen because statesmen in america obey the laws of the other states. a texan will not go to newyork and defecate in a plastic bag. when you are in rome, act like romans. defecating in plastic bags is a village behaviour - thus the saying "go back to your villages". if they cannot shelf the village habits, why should they be in the city?Lol, the plastic bag bit had me in tears, the good ol plastic bag (where would we be without it, hahahaha) I get what you are saying with the average level of education in advanced countries as compared to here in Nigeria. True a Texan won't choose plastic over porcelain, and really its just because our government failed us for a very long time (old news, I know) that people sometimes act like animals, when the government should have made, and still make, education a priority. You raised up a good point about those guys in the market being the "Law", and that might be intimidating to maybe you and be, but shouldn't be intimidating in the least to government, especially when they aren't hidden like terrorists. You seem like a strong personality yourself, with an iron fist to act. So now imagine if you are the governor of Lagos State (I do adore BRF btw), then I am sure you would be able to act on those few who claim to be the "law" in the market, and deal with them. Look guy if you dealt with them under the law, say Jail time for harassing citizens, and stick to your guns, I tell you things would work, those guys would be in jail, the market would shape up, or be closed down PERIOD! Now also imagine you were governor and said there would be a N50,000 fine for peeing or defecating on the streets, and again you stick to your guns, I tell you people would not urinate on the streets, and if they do, they would pay the fine, and if they can't pay then they might serve Jail time PERIOD! I am not against the closure, not against Fashola (except his village statements), and I feel Lagos is doing well. I still say that if the Law is allowed to work, and no one placed above it, then these so called villagers would have a couple of options: 1. Obey the Law 2. Get thrown in Jail for not obeying the Law. 3. Leave on their own Simple! No need to umbrella folks in political statements, that is never good for politics. I can already see some people throwing an umbrella over all Igbos when we should be moving forward as a country, judging individuals by their actions, and not were their from within one country. |
coogar: if a texan refuses to obey the laws in new york, he would be sent packing. why should villagers who are allergic to civilization soil up the whole place? go back to your village applies to all and sundry that are not lagosians including yorubas as well. fashola's move should be applauded. you need to compare the oshodi before fashola's governance and now to see why his methods are effective. the market should be demolished and restructured.Guy I totally understand and agree 100% that the market should be closed down and sanitized, but that's where it should end. No need to start saying they were black, white, asian, igbo, yoruba, housa, fulani or whatever. Let the Law take care of malefactors as it is doing with the closing of the market. I am just against talk like "go back to your village", that is entirely unwarranted. If you claim they can't obey the Law, then, again, let the law take care of the situation. The law will ensure that they shape up, and it would either be punishment by the law or it will reach a point that they may leave by themselves if they see that they are getting into too much trouble with the law and can't keep up. Case in point, I traveled to Dubai, beautiful country, but stringent laws; I personally would never wanna live there full time. Please just close your eyes and imagine a U.S governor saying that other statesmen should leave his state, that would make for really bad tv, and bad politics. Let the Law prevail. |
CyberG: Let them go back to their native land and do their business there. The laws and respect of your host states far outweigh whether you make 100 B or 100 Tr. In as much as some of the traders are appealing to our better angels, some ungrateful ibo bigots make it difficult to not want to repatriate the entire ibo back to their villages in SE. You don't own any other land except iboland. You will also have to pay your taxes in full, obey the laws, respect your hosts and understand that you are tenants with absolutely no rights to the land or any market.I really do not like it when people like you say go back to your village, what the hell does that mean? Last time I checked this country was called Nigeria not Lagos, or Abia, or Anambra. Its like Mayor of New-York telling all Texans to go back to their village, damn! its a free country, no one needs visas to cross states in their own country and no one should need permission to reside in a different state in their own country. Its talk like this that makes one Nigeria almost impossible. Do you really want to have Lagos all to yourself, and become one of the smallest countries in the world? |

@emiye, your idea is not far fetched, why waste such money on forced slavery, when you can use it to liberate the youth, encouraging them in their passions in life (not forcing them to farm to promote unity). Below are benefits provided to citizens of Dubai by their government (a government that cares) Benefits Provided by The Government: 1.UAE Government produces electricity from different sources. The Government of UAE also gives subsidy on electricity. As a result the electricity charges are very low in Dubai as compare to rest of the world. 2.Water & Sewerage system is the sole responsibility of UAE government. There are no water & Sewerage bills in Dubai. 3.Government provides housing facilities to nationals and there are government approved rent rates which are very affordable by the locals. 4.Government gives upto 3 months leaves to all UAE nationals per year which does not include Eid vacations. (1 month normal leave, 1 month leave for study purpose and 1 month for looking after a sick relative) 5.Any citizen living in Dubai working as a middle level manager in the municipality and completes 7+ years in same organization can easily earn a salary of 100 000 DAE per month. 6.Government provides free or cheap land to their citizens to build their own houses. 7.Government also provides financial assistance to their citizens for their marriages. 8.Government also provides assistance to their citizens to start their own businesses. 9.Banks with guarantee from government give loans to UAE citizens at very low interest rates. 10.The government is very protective of its local citizens and will not allow "others" to come in and share the wealth with the locals that "deserve" it. Moreover, it fears that by granting citizenship to foreigners, it may be inviting the possibility to have its cultural values tainted 11.Dubai does not granted nationality to children born in there, thus preventing the stake of the citizens of Dubai from outsider’s interferences. Nationality is granted to those children whos fathers belong to Dubai. |
Vado: No sir, I'm as passionately disgusted with the scheme I swear. It's just a way of the government covering up their inadequacies and inability to provide jobs. Internship is what we should rather have that way everybody can further brush up their skills and acquired knowledge in establishments in line with their discipline but no, our leader live in self-denial and aint ready to do the right thing. The nysc in itself is a corrupt body for some people to amass wealth so they prefer the status quo. They say it's to promote unity but nysc members are endangered species like never before up north and it will only get worse.Thank you sir, I have always said internships are the way to go for crying out loud. Let Colleges have Job fairs, and let shell, mobil, etisalat, mtn.... come to campuses to recruit young students (those in final year, or maybe those in second to last year). I have heard that some people after spending up to 6 years in school have to wait up to 1 year just to get mobilized, that makes me want to cry. So it is not enough that our leaders waste resources, they also want to waste the valuable time that we the youth have. |

CyberG: If you let your headache kill you, it's your loss! How can you complain about nothing to do when you folks voted for president/leaders only on ethnic and religious basis!? Well, fix a good foundation and the superstructure will be sound also but you appear to be placing the cart before the horse! Well, where I am employment numbers are a big deal...national employment numbers, state employment numbers on a monthly basis are published and you will hear for example 147,000 jobs added in September, etc; where do you think that comes from? It all derives from historically good leadership that is trying to always best its previous performance! If the national leadership keeps generating negative employment numbers or so few that the unemployment rate climbs several percentage points, will it still get elected? Well, not here but in Nigeria, no problem for as long as he is from your ethnic tribe or religious circle! Well, that is why you might be unemployed in Nigeria until you start your own small buying and selling business if you have ZERO technical skills!I understand what you are saying, and I to am frustrated with the top leadership and believe that it funnels down to the people. You say you served, and that Lemonade should be made out of the Lemons we are handed, but why do we need those Lemons handed to us in the first place. NYSC is the ultimate example of bullshit, why should you be FORCED to serve anything or anyone excluding the military if drafted. THIS IS A DEMOCRACY! No one should be force to go to a village for one year (some people's equivalent of jail in some other countries) to promote any kind of agenda PERIOD! Those who have at one point in their lives VOLUNTEERED to VOLUNTEER(do you all not see how weird that phrase sounds) know the fulfillment that can bring, people shouldn't be coerced into volunteering or threatened with no job prospects in an already chaotic employment market, just because they haven't agreed to "volunteer" in a village. Once in a while, Nigerias issues get to me a little too much that I need to vent, I guess today is just another day. |
I am just so distraught, why does the NYSC exist? I went to ETI-OSA local government and guess what they do there? Nothing, Zilch, Nada, their minds in a state of DORMANCY for ONE WHOLE YEAR (at least with regards to time spent doing NYSC), Myyyy Goodness!! Do we know how much the eager mind can progress in ONE WHOLE YEAR, how much the eager mind can accomplish? Some will say "oh, but we helped prepare some waec candidates for exams, and oh, they were so grateful, and oh, and oh, and oh", well I say bullshit!!! What makes a corper a qualified teacher for CRYING OUT LOUD? WHAT? Oh I'm sorry did the said corper also graduate with a teaching degree? I mean thats like trying to place a circle in a triangular hole, sad thing is that those who advocate this silly scheme would simply say you should push the circle harder, untill it enters the triangular hole, which funny enough it might. I just cant believe we as a people are'nt more revolted by this, I mean people abroad can't come back and work, people here who have job opportunities immediately after school are told "oh, just wait one more year, biko!", like What? I just don't get it, I could understand if we were a nation under seige and there was a couple months mandatory military training, but this? foster unity crap. So to summarize, we spend ONE WHOLE YEAR, after a 4-6 year coourse, to FOSTER UNITY, and in some instances, we achieve this goal by DOING NOTHING, as is the case of the local governement. geez, I have a headache. |

kedukc: why would a sane person want to be tracked? By the time you implement all that, your right to privacy is gone. You wan spoil the little freedom wey we get for Naija abi? God punish you.Lol, calm down dude! I am not suggesting that we as a people lay down our freedoms, but every society needs to have its denizens indexed so to speak. Imagine that a teacher in a school has just 3 students, and one day he notices that one student has written some profanity on his desk. The teacher might get to the bottom of the problem by MANUALLY cross referencing the handwritings on the desk to the hand writings of the three students. The key here is that as there are only three students, tracking the malefactor becomes quite easy (notice that no student here has given up any freedoms at all). Now imagine if it were a class of 1000000.... where would you start from, you might need a better form of cross referencing (say using a computer to cross reference large chunks of handwritings as all the handwritings would already be in a database). MY POINT HERE IS THAT WE NEED A BETTER ORGANIZED SOCIETY TO MAKE IT EASIER TO WEED OUT MALEFACTORS. Please note that the so called wayward society you seem to enjoy is also a perfect breeding ground for the corrupt, the wicked, the thiefs and so on to multiply unchecked. |

pillzthadrugz: So what about the lives they've wasted? Are they refunding them back to life?........Lets forget about the so-called "cease fire"......because everything with a senseless beginning has a shameful end......and this is it!.... #BLUSHI hear you, I was watching Naruto (a famous anime) and the same question was posed. Do you seek revenge or let peace prevail, and if you do seek revenge then how far will it go? I am torn in my decision as on one hand I am glad they have stopped, on the other hand I wonder about the Souls of the departed. GOD will JUDGE! For now, I pray and pray that the government uses this time to beef up security. I mean what kind of country are we living in where you and I cant even be tracked. I mean I am sure no one here has a social security number, I am sure our licenses aren't in any database, and the list goes on. Tell me how you can build a Secure Nation on such a shaky background. |
