oyb: this one na standard with tanker driversDude, please tell me you're joking. No way they would mix water with the fuel/diesel, is that an exaggeration? |
Please help, google is a bust on this one |
mecussey: It will go like this..My children, there was a country called Nigeria during the 21st century made up of three or more tribes, christians and muslems. The curruption was so much that some wise once had to flee to other countries. They had fought a civilian war during the 1950s and another deadly one broke out when power refuse to go back to the North. The North later succeeded and took power again. 8 yrs later, the south requested for the power again and another civilian war started which coincidentally started with the 3rd world war, when Iran tested their Nuclear war head in the U.S. The war was so bloody and many died, the South west part of the country had never been involved in a civilian war, came out from the fence they have been sitting to come and take advantage of the position of power. There came this great Tsunami from the atlantic, which many believed was a wave from a Nuclear bomb thrown into the ocean and wiped away one of the biggest cities both in Nigeria and Africa as a whole called Lagos. The few people left in that country were homeless and helpless. The civil war ended without a winner or a loser, that was the end of Giant of Africa.I reject that. |
Wow, this shit Kray! Corruption is everywhere, quick story: My uncle owns a sand truck for business, and always gives the drivers money to buy diesel for it, but alas one day his good friend in one of the filling stations told him some news. His friend at the filling station had told him that his drivers came over to buy diesel and offered to square the guys something to forge a receipt i.e they maybe would get 8K for diesel, buy 5, square the guy selling 500, and in turn the guy selling would issue receipt of 8k, aint that shit Kray? Imagine if they didn't happen to go to this station this time. Now my concerned uncle had to install trackers and camera in his truck, lol. @OP Thanks for posting this, if the guy really is stealing company fuel, then I am sure he is taking advantage of the inaccuracies in the tanks measuring system (+/- couple litres), so it may be undetectable to his employers to a certain extent. Anywho, who is really gonna check this guy, is it Police? Mhahahahaha!! Evil Laugh! (laughing because I recently went to a naija police station and saw chickens fighting, heya!!). So how do we really solve the corruption problem, I say it starts from a complete overhaul of Police, as in building 21st century Police academies, increasing their salaries to at least 200k/month, equipping them with fairly sophisticated gadgets like police cars with cams and mics, functioning walkies, coordinated response drills, and please have a FREAKING POLICE NUMBER ON ALL CARs, so concerned citizens are never in doubt of what the correct police number is, as it would constantly be staring you in the face everytime a cop car drives by. |
The smart ones on this thread have said it, we need a database. In the U.S everyone has a social security number unique to them, why can't we have the same. Drivers license numbers can quickly pull up your information in a cop car, ofcourse the computer in the cop car is linked to a database. Please we need a real database, I mean this ain't that difficult, gov. needs to step up. |
I keep hearing this song on radio with lyrics: I too bad oh, be like say I too bad oh Get money plenty money so I throw way, bad belle people....... so I throw way. Please help |
Seize, seize, seize, jail, jail, jail... all this for traffic offenses, haba! Why can't they focus on setting up a database whereby they can start giving out fines and be able to follow through on collecting. All this seize, seize, seize has to stop. So because I disobey one minute traffic offense, on the way to a very important meeting, I should have my car seized? and I myself taken to the station? Haba! |
Thanks Rossikk for the pics, made me tingle a bit. I pray it is completed on schedule and well maintained, this will be HUGE! |
In an ideal world I would support the removal of subsidy, so that the money can be used to further develop the country, but what guarantee is there that such money would be used judiciously? Come to think of it, why do we need subsidy in the first place? If we had working refineries, petroleum products would be very affordable for all. Now they can claim that the subsidy money could be used towards building refineries, but again, what proof is there that the money would be used responsibly. I would rather they take out a loan to finance such projects, or hand them over to the private sector, and simply regulate. Most Nigerians are their own government: We provide our light (even most of us are forced to research into solar energy and contemplate huge costs just for power) We provide our water (if you don't have borehole, then....) ... ... but Please we can't provide our own petrol for cheap. Here is one of the very, very, few areas in which the populous can claim, boast even, that they feel the impact of having a government. Take that away, and what are we left with? |
Why does it have to be 24 bit PNG? That is would be very low quality. Can't you guys work with jpeg files? |
I am re-listing this as scrap! for 10k I have discovered more issues (put the phone away a while back, decided to now dig it up and sell it). So here is what I found: 1. The phone has no back cover (can't find it, so I just tucked the phone in a fitted case, so impossible to tell) 2. I think what makes the phone move by itself sometimes, is also affecting the touch screen as touch is almost non-existent now (all functions still accessible through trackpad, although I think the trackpad is what causes the phone to move by itself, lol, crazy cycle). 3. Last but not least, people have said they have a hard time hearing me well on handset mode, but its fine on speaker mode. So I am dropping the price to 10k I will go to SLOT next week to have someone change the trackpad if I haven't sold it by then. |

ezedidi: U mean u v nt tamperd wt d phone b4? U v nt gvn it 2 any phn engineer b4?Nope, haven't given it to any engineer, but I was thinking of taking it to SLOT, if I still want to use it. |
The phone is moving by itself, as in sometimes it will just start scrolling on its own. If someone knows how to fix it, then you might as well get in on this deal. |
Is this MTV Cribs? What is the van for? Maybe he used his own money sha |
IF THIS IS EVER PASSED, THEN FOR ONCE LET WE NIGERIAN YOUTHS STAND UP AS ONE TO OPPOSE THIS. I WILL PERSONALLY BE ON THE STREET WITH WHOEVER IS INTERESTED, THIS IS ABSOLUTE LUNACY. WHY ARE WE SERVING IN THE FIRST PLACE, WHEN MOBIL, SHELL AND THE LIKES SHOULD BE RECRUITING FINAL YEAR STUDENTS IN SCHOOL OVER SUMMER AS INTERNS TO GET EXPERIENCE AND SO ON. BACKWARDS POLITICIANS, WITH THEIR FOOT STUCK ON THE ACCELERATOR, WHILE THE SHIFTER IS IN REVERSE. THIS IS TOOO IRRITATING ABEG, I FEEL LIKE THROWING UP. |
I can't believe some of you are advocating this, saying increase allowance or whatever, to hell with that! The programme should be scrapped, If I were president that would be one of my key areas targeted to reduce spending. I guess the Nigerian system has really crippled some of you guys, that you would be willing to earn 50K a month in forced labour, while most of your mates in advance countries with the same level of education would earn at least 1-2 thousand dollars a month. There is no agenda worth serving for, besides maybe military training like Isreal if your country is under seige, but besides that There is no agenda worth serving for Last time I checked this is a Democracy! Mine is a perfect example, I came back from the U.S.A ready to fully impact the Nigerian Engineering Scene (I pride myself in being a damn good engineer, that always wants to learn more), only to be told to go rot in Eti-Osa local government, spending my days on the balcony of a dilapidated building gisting as there is nothing to do. How does this help Nigeria as a whole? Sometimes I hate this Country, then I remember its not the country I am mad at, it is the illiterate, visionless, bushmeat hunting, animals in agbada that really piss me off. |
Serendipity: I'm at one with you on that. Her we don't examine people people drivers licences are issued.lol, thanks for the correction. I caught it too late, and I don't believe you can change the thread title, unless of course the omnipresent mods decide to help out. |
almost sold out, get them while sale lasts. |
I wonder how difficult it really would be to: 1. Have all cars in a database. 2. Give cars to lasma to chase offenders. 3. Have lasma issue tickets only so offenders can continue with life as usual, instead of follow me to the station 4. Have video cameras in cars of all lasma vehicles with microphones, to monitor everything they see, that should reduce their corruption. .. .. .. Guys I can go on forever here..... I know I referred to LASMA alot, but the reasoning should be extended to every security and law enforcement outfit. |
Meanwhile these are the new cop cars in yankee, nah wah!! [flash=425,344] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgBL5k8Qu_Q[/flash] |
Take a look at the picture below depicting cars/drivers approaching a roundabout. I am actually using lekki as an example here, which looks right to you? If you guessed the driving on the left, then you are of sound mind, but why oh why do Nigerians in mass keep driving like in the second diagram? Why would all lanes want to merge to the left lane, cant the people on the middle and right lane see free space at the roundabout, but noooooooo, all man must enter left lane. This is just one of numerous examples of the headaches of driving in naija. They have put lanes on the road, but to follow those lanes now is a different story.

kennymoney: Then Let's do another swap bro. I have other games. Maxpayne3, God of war3, need for speed mostwanted.Need for Speed most wanted, what condition is the game in? Does it have Case, art work, instruction manual? |
Sorry Kenny, can swap part 1 but thats about it, unless u add like 2k to uncharted 3. Anywho it would become more expensive once listed on www.justconsolesnigeria.com |
odumorun 1: The excessive deference to 'elders' in Africa is a key obstacle to development and not just in Government, also in the academia, busiess world and even in families. It does not create the necessary environment - based on a healthy conflict of ideas for society to develop. About 12 years ago an undergraduate student in the US dreamed up a way to connect everybody using an internet to each other. Many of his professors thought he was mad, but they still allowed him continue with his research. The result was the phenomenon of facebook. Would max Zuckerburg have created what he did if he was a Nigerian. If he had criticised as he did his proffessors would we not have torn him down, ripped him to shreds for 'challenging his elders.lol, couldn't agree more. its weird, I once worked in some gov company and approached a man and said "hello, PLEASE can you tell me where the accounting department is?" and behold he just erupted, saying "you can't even greet". I just hissed right in his face and walked away, I am sure he was sooo surprised (please do not try this if u really Luv your job, lol). My point here is that in another country were I worked the statement I made "hello, PLEASE can you tell me where the accounting department is?" would have come of as pleasant and respectful, but to this mighty "elder" it was just too rude to not have greeted first and that to him was enough to erupt in a work environment, smh! |
48k get them quick |
nah, just wifi. Maybe I'll fix it first and relist it adding the price of fixing it ofcourse, ![]() |
Can let it go for 7k |
that is a brand new game, seal and all. Do you have any lesser game to throw in with uncharted 3(we can both agree uncharted 3 is a bit old)? |
