Not related...my superior once murmured these words "we have more than 1000 CVs" when i told her that I got a program to undertake, asking her how i could have my duties lined up to three to four days for 3months, and I'd readjust after.

At this time i had already served 2yrs under her and I wasn't even a confirmed staff yet, even though the appointment letter stated that i would be in two years. I gave my possible best and achieved very desirable results.

Well, I thought it out for few days before deciding to discuss it with her, and I carefully concealed the idea that if she didn't give me a yes that I'd have to forge ahead and leave the company behind me. Few staff with similar aspirations had their way (they were her favorites) but i wasn't, I was just doing my job and never tried to be close or overtly friendly...and i made sure I was never a rude employee.
But she gave me a million reasons she had to deny my request..well, the very next day I submitted my resignation letter.

I was going to leave after few months tho, i was going to leave the city. But I think she'd think I left because she didn't permit me the chance to advance my life.

These things are happening already. The other day, i saw an extract of an interview on channels TV. The interviewer was Ṣeun and the guest was the Ogun State governor. From what I learned, that man never graduated and he even told the anchor he would stop answering questions about his education lol..the really funny thing here is that as much as the people realize this abomination, it doesn't bother them.

Everything about our society is decaying real fast. I seen many many things. I worked with a religious institution, and i confirmed that we have really ruined ourselves and openly pretending we're being positive. I seen religious HRs employing incompetent employees because they belong to the same church or denomination. I seen where those that call themselves pastors tell lies to cover their incompetency. Parents does not have the knowledge/time to raise their children in the right way..and later those children become slaves to religion, dogs to politicians...etc.

It's done already...the way out of this abyss? I know not.

Nairaland mods are your enablers. It's unfortunate that they are bringing their personal bias into sports reportage. They've turned a once impartial forum sportswise into an anti-Messi site to the extent that they could not even report on a top five league title win on FP.

I know it's the fact that Messi is widely considered the GOAT of football that is seriously paining them. Even at that, because the GOAT is in PSG, you decide not to report any positive news about PSG or Messi?, the fact that he has had 22 direct goal involvements in a supposedly poor season? That is simply incompetent reportage.

Messi that the fans were chanting his name after the game as the match hero. These guys here are so immature and the best way they think they should show strong support for their favorite player is by making sure to smear Messi's name and the club he represents in the mud. This is a shameful idea to say the least. Of course, the moment i saw op's name...i knew it was a slandering post aimed at Messi lol.
I wonder where his/her energy comes from, once it's about Leo, posts must be made to paint him unworthy of his achievements. Shame to the op.
