The Gurus' Creed! [b] I know many of you have been loooking for one way or the other to earn a living atleast three sqaure meal a day, but you haven't read/heard how to be successful, the below post will show you how. I saw this topic as I was surfinging the net, although it's old but still fresh, I know many of my pals and newbies that wants to make money online and offline need it. Okay, let’s gist a little. You have tried all you can to survive but still things are not working for you as planned. In this article just see your self as a Guru. In fact, you have decided to quit and live life as you see it. My friend. Gurus don’t live like that. They don’t throw the towel for any reason. The reason you are finding things difficult to do is that you have not trained your mind to solve problems. I repeat, the reason you are finding things difficult to do is that you have not trained your mind to solve problems. Many of us see beautiful houses, cars, environment, etc and we lust after them. We want to live such lifestyle but we are only wishing and not doing anything towards that. Let me tell you, you can never amount to anything worthwhile in life without working for it. You see the mindset! I think I should leave what you are not and analyze the mindset of the Gurus. 1. Gurus know what they want and are aware of the price to pay to get what they want. They have clear vision of where they are going and work towards it. 2. Gurus take time to meditate before leaping. They believe that the 1% of time spent on meditation (thinking) will give them 99% sound results. 3. Gurus pay the price of achieving something great. They are not afraid to work smartly. 4. Gurus are keen to know when to be patient for long-term goals. They are not in a hurry to achieve outstanding results once it’s big. 5. Gurus read a lot because they believe that readers are leaders. 6. Gurus are focused, principled and disciplined. Their yes is yes and their no is no. 7. Gurus are time (and money) managers. They have learned through experience when to attack and when to relax. They believe in making money work for them as soon as they have some of it. 8. Gurus are risk-takers and are not afraid of loosing money. They have so much trained themselves that they live above money powers. Money doesn’t control them and that is the reason they can take huge risk. 9. Gurus are action oriented. They don’t wait till everything gets better. They just ACT and perfect on their way to the dreamland. 10. Gurus don’t call problems/ troubles their names. They believe it’s a negative word that makes them do nothing. They take problems/troubles as CHALLENGES because it inspires them to think, meditate and find solution. 11. Gurus don’t take negative news to heart. Instead they ask themselves, “What am I suppose to learn from this situation?” 12. Gurus don’t blame the government, the economy, their family background, their educational status or whatever for their predicament. They blame themselves. They believe in building their own ‘world’ the way they believe it to be. 13. Gurus love to help folks become Gurus too. Because they believe that if you want to be more successful, you have to help enough other people to become successful. 14. Gurus have strong faith in God and in themselves. And that is the reason you can’t distract their focus. 15. You can add you own here. So, can you see the difference between Gurus and other folks. My question is this: “Are you a Guru or do you want to become one?”. If yes, work on the characteristic above and search out for more. You never can tell, you may be the next solution to the problems of the society. You know what it means. Hope you like it. Pls drop yours. JallowBah: What I think? There is nothing wrong with that, Nursery school pupils in Thailand are using Ipad to study, one each. Bill Gate C.E.O of Microsoft launched his first computer program at the age of 17. Mehn we want CHANGES in our motherland (Nigeria) That is development, I wish our government should do the same. |
asha 80: e be like say you wan build houseB4 nko, everybody including ants wan build house ![]() Let them reduce the price to 1k so that Landlords will not messup with their tenants ever again. We have the resouces, so the price should be reduced to it's minimum. |
This policy will have a negative impact to our children, more especially those that took their WAEC external, because I know they don't write Igbo language and those that aren't IMO indigenes (Other states) This will make things worst for students. The only way to apply this policy is just as simple as ABC by making it mandatory that any student that will write WAEC in Imo state MUST write Igbo language, that should be the way out. As for this new policy I disagree with the state government. Ndi Igbo kwenu.. A nam ekwuzikwa ka mmadu. |
Gud Idea. @OP That means protest on social network sites, if possible street protest. |
DANILSA: Pls mr Armed should not negotiate, he should leave them to continue destroying precious life and property in the name of sharia, North will soon become chad when all businesses must have grounded. he. Cant eat his cake and have it.Tell them. |
[b]A Christian organization today strongly asserted that Nigeria will never become an Islamic State, and called on President Goodluck Jonathan to fire the junior Minister who made the claim. The coordinator of Christian Awareness Initiative of Nigeria (CHAIN), Pastor Caleb Ma’aji, was reacting to a statement credited to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Nurudeen, who was quoted as saying, “Nigeria is one of the most Christian-populated Islamic nations in the world." In an email sent to SaharaReporters, Pastor Ma”aji described the statement as “inciteful.” He said: “Nigeria is not an Islamic nation and can never be, we also declare that such an individual as Dr. Mohammed Nurudeen is unfit to be a member of the Federal Executive Council in a multi religious and heterogenous secular nation as Nigeria and we hereby call on his boss, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, to sanction him and show him the door out of the federal cabinet.” He warned that it is comments such as Dr. Nurudeen's that have brought Nigeria to the edge and emboldened hate and terror group to carry out their terrorist activities in the name of Islam, adding that such people feed terror because their words serve the philosophy of hatred that is currently ravaging Northern Nigeria. He recalled events in Nigeria’s history that have brought a head-on collision between religion and politics, including the recent statement by Malam Elrufai regarding Boko Haram that "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." “We therefore declare that if the Muslim elite of Nigeria see Boko Haram as "freedom fighters", then we of CHAIN and of the body of Christ in Nigeria declare that if these Muslim elite cannot accommodate other religious faiths in Nigeria then rather than unleash terror on innocent Nigerians, they should call for a Sovereign National Conference where we can redefine the terms of our union rather than live with this deceitful people who cannot co exist in peace with others or tolerate any religion other than their own,” the statement said. Datti Ahmed: The Only Man Who Can Stop Boko Haram https://saharareporters.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/news-page-images-480-wide/page_images/news/2012/Ibrahim-Ahmed-Datti_0.jpg Renowned medical doctor and President of the Supreme Council of Sharia in Nigeria, Dr. Ibrahim Datti Ahmed is the only man who can stop Boko Haram hostilities, a Muslim organisation has revealed. In a passionate letter of appeal to Ahmed, published by Daily Trust newspaper, the Muslim group called on the highly respected Northern leader to “call off the Boko Haram beasts,” adding that the Islamists have done nothing to further Ahmed’s objectives and his Sharia plan for Nigeria. “Enough is enough. Boko Haram has done nothing to further your objectives and your Sharia plan for Nigeria. Indeed, Boko Haram with their devillish tactics have only painted our noble Deen in bad light,” the group wrote. It recalled that Ahmed founded the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria with the noble aim of implementing the Sharia Law while nothing that it has been implemented to a great extent in some Northern states, without shedding blood or killing innocent people. According to the Muslims, before the advent of Boko Haram, the North was reported even in foreign editorials as “the best states for doing business in Nigeria” because of the peace existing in the states then. The group noted with regret that since the menace of Boko Haram, with their killings, maiming and arson, they have frustrated Christians and Muslims from doing business in the North and they have turned the entire North to a hell on earth. The Muslims said that Ahmed who has friends across Nigeria including Christians like former President Olusegun Obasanjo, will not be happy to see Boko Haram slaughter any of his friends. They quoted a letter written by columnist Bala Muhammad published in the Saturday Weekly Trust of 05 May, 2012, “you have spoken. And Nigeria has heard you. Indeed, you have every right to be angry and frustrated. Your single-minded initiative to intervene in this ongoing national calamity was unprecedented.” Muhammad recalled that some years back, a former Nigerian president said this of Ahmed: “Is it the same Dr. I. D. Ahmed that I know? That brilliant University of Ibadan-trained medical doctor, one of the North’s first? The Dr. Ahmed I know to be a core nationalist and patriot? What got into him to become a religious fanatic?” He acknowledge Ahmed as a Muslim leader who cannot be bribed or compromised. Quoting several religious activities and utterances of Ahmed that made him a trustworthy Muslim leader, the group wrote: “please, we Nigerians, we Muslims, we beg you, call off Boko Haram.” Meanwhile, the Leadership newspaper has reported the readiness of Boko Haram members to cease fire on two conditions after years of frequent bomb attacks on security formations, religious houses and killings of innocent citizens within the northern states. The group has named the president of the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria, Sheik Ahmed Datti, as their mediator. It said the choice of Datti was based on the fact that its former leader, the late Mohammed Yusuf, served as a member that represented Borno State in the council of Sharia in Nigeria, and that the cleric could be trusted not to betray the confidence reposed in him to speak for the Boko Haram sect, a source close to the group told LEADERSHIP yesterday. The source added that Boko Haram was ever ready to stop the bombings in the next four weeks only if the Federal Government would release all its arrested members as well as guarantee the security and safety of all members whose names would be given to the federal government through Datti. The source said: “What the boko haram sect is asking the Federal Government now is to give them the assurance that once they come to the public after the hostilities, their safety and security would be guaranteed. “The sect members have also agreed that once the two conditions are met, within four weeks, they will put an end to the hostilities. I am afraid, the members of the Boko Haram sect may resume to more action should the Federal Government fail to heed the conditions.” Source: Saharareporters |

Even is 1000naira is made a coin and the price garri drops to 10naira a cup. Wil that still make life miserable?Have you for once use 50kobo, 1 & 2 Naira coins here in Nigeria? Soon what happened to 50kobo, 1 & 2 Naira coins will also happen to our 5, 10 and 20 Naira. Lets watch and see. |

CBN Governor is really out of His senses. Fromer CBN Governor Soludo will never be happy with Sanusi. It's like Naija politicians are using remote access on Sanusi. We are still complaining on how hard things are, the value of 1,000, now is the time everybody will hear the bad side of the economy. Now small denominations will be turn to coins, now tell me any sensible adult that will keep coins in His suit. Politicians una prayers has been answer, money laundry lets move. It's better the people protest on this issue before it's too late for us. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. |
Valto: yeah....daily access fee of #5 for 20kobo per second(12naira per minute) to all networks is a good dealWhat is the code for the plan. They charge me 25 per day on easy life. |
No ethnic group should disengage themselves in the issue of succession because if war erupt everybody will be affect, this is not 1960s where they fight with cutlass, be it Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo will be affect, just a drop of bomb in Kaduna refiney will blast till 10 gud years, just a missile will destroy so many things, bear it in mind that the weapon used in civil war is no more the weapon that will be used this time around. So my brothers and sisters lets us stop all this arguements and focus on how to tackle this issue without violence, if the Igbos wants to exceed let them be, becos waging them will cause a great harm that will never be forgotten till the next million years to come, so no group should fold their hands and say it doesn't concern us, remember just a single weapon is able to clear one tribe in Nigeria, who know which tribe it will be. Let us handle this in peaceful way and avoid violence. GOD BLESS NIGERIA |
